So far no problems from china orders for my personal use. I dont order a retailers bulk amount, now im thinking this is going to change as well. I hope not :( but its going to maybe become a crapshoot in the near future for individual orders as well.

I tend to doubt customs will stop smaller orders. It would be way to much work, time and money. I buy products from Hong Kong sellers of various products all the time from e-bay with no problems. It's the larger ones to US distributors that they are shooting for.

If you buy 5 atomizers, it should go through fine. If you buy 15,000 like a distributor would, then there may be a problem.

All up in your grill..
Well we got some supplies and dodged this bullet. for how long I don't know. But this really sucks. All we are trying to do is help people and make an honest dollar. Our little business employs 7 people! We all have families. It's perfectly legal to sell all this non fda approved male enhancement crap yet everyday I wake up wondering if the federal government has screwed me out of a job.

Two of my last four shipments were inspected by customs and were not big orders at all and were not labeled as containing ecigs:( ... It obviously is getting worse as I had never had a package inspected prior to this and two of them in the last couple of weeks!

There has been some talk lately of China customs messing with a lot of shipment and even refusing some while looking for trademark violations. I wonder if you have any indication of whether this could be happening on the shipping side of the ocean.

Wow Cyberwolf, never even thought of that happening on the other side of the ocean! I kind of doubt it though? From what Wayne has said, any shipment containing anything ecig, if found in Hong Kong customs, is being shipped back to the China supplier, never even makes it to our customs! Both packages were also in US customs longer than usual, about three days. Any body know a way to tell for sure which end of the ocean this happened on?

Eh.....supply and demand. Free market and buearecratic sloppiness ain't gonna help in keeping e-cig "paraphenelia" out. As said before, order a ...., order a switchblade. Obviously illegal things that still come in. There is a demand and there will be supply. Maybe Atomizers won't be $10 anymore (maybe 20, 30 bucks, who knows?) but they'll be available. Plus someone one of these days will make their own atomizers. The internet is awesome ain't it?

Anyway, back to e-cigs... Just so everyone knows how serious this is right now... And that US Suppliers aren't making this up to scare you into buying more...Vapor Options has had four shipments come from three different suppliers in the last two weeks get stopped at US Customs in Chicago. Just so you know, they were all shipped to a different address and a different name so that if my name was targeted, they wouldn't block everything else. Well, they did anyway. US Customs is cracking down hard.

I spoke with a US Customs agent in Chicago and he said that "All Electronic cigarettes are being stopped and held for the FDA". He was nice enough to give me the direct line to the FDA (1-630-860-1307 Ext. 109) in Chicago. I called them and spoke to "Supervisor Spivey" and he said that they are being detained until the FDA rules on their legality. He said that the contents are "Electronic cigarette paraphernalia" and that they will either get released to me or shipped back to the origin once the FDA makes a final decision. I told him that two packages are just parts and had no liquids or cartridges in them and are not under the jurisdiction of the FDA. He said, "Still drug paraphernalia and that they are under the FDA jurisdiction too. Drug delivery devices are regulated by the FDA".

It's a losing battle, no matter what you do or say to them. I have over $5,000 in goods there waiting for someone to get the balls to make a decision, let alone the right one.

Thats my 2 cents...

Keep Vaping,

Adam

Spivey has 3 of my shipments lol keep me posted if you figure out anything basically chicago is a death trap for E-cigs right now

86 kits and Accesories in first 2 shipments --- and 100 kits in 3rd

The Obama administration has only discussed assault weapon restrictions

I doubt he'd even go that far. AW were banned from 94 to 04 and congress completely changed hands from donkeys to elephants the following november.

The democrats would have to be intencely stupid to repeat the same mistake.

Of course, overwhelming stupidity is a common failing of Government.
