My point is it’s not as simple as “slopping” some liquid in a pint jar. While I admit that works for some people it doesn’t work for all. I’m actually envious of people like Sue who can do that and be entirely content with it.

Sorry. I think I did read the lead up, but read the last two posts separately, at another time, and lost any context

lots of people don't wanna get involved with lunatic mixing.
you guys make it too complicated.
as it happens, i found a couple super simple recipes i like.
but, i don't need them to stay away from tobacco.
you can just slop some vg, pg n nic in a pint jar n you have unflavored juice.
it is actually quite pleasant.
cheap, easy, no special equipment n takes less time than driving to the store for cigs,

people need to know this,

Baaawaaa, I so totally agree with you girl! I am lucky I love unflavored!

Flavor is a funny thing. We could vape cilantro juice and see if we like it!

Oh how I hate cilantro. If I had to vape that, I would be in so much trouble. I can do unflavored if I had to but I don't want to.

Besides, the mixing is fun and helps keep me off the smokes. I am not trying to create the next greatest flavor, I use recipes or tweak recipes others have done. I can't see reinventing the wheel and just about everything has been done already but for some, it is their creative hobby and I totally get it.

I love the taste of cilantro.

I get the lure of unflavored juice. I’m going to mix some up to keep on hand for use whenever I want in my RDA. OTOH I do love my coffee and chocolate flavors and I have some NET on the way that I’m quite excited to try. I like new stuff and variety. Bet I’ll never have an ADV

I've never tried unflavored, but I imagine I could get used to it fairly quick. I've been DIYing the same tobacco flavor for about five years.

I use a 250ml graduated cylinder to add a modicum of precision to my slopping. My mixing "jar" is a bit bigger than a pint since I mix ~800 ml of vaping-strength unflavored at a time.

But yes, it's easy, and unflavored is pleasant, although I don't use it exclusively.

Ha! My neighbor took up vaping five years ago. Bought some cheap juice. Tobacco. It remains not only the first juice he ever tried but also the only juice he ever tried. :)

It’s not quite that easy, but not much harder.

It’s as easy as using a free calculator, investing in small quantities of ingredients, a few bottles (or save your old ones) and some measuring gear, and trying stand alone flavors.

    100mg PurNic™ E-Liquid Nicotine*

    Vegetable Glycerin

    Propylene Glycol

    Capella Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble

That’s all you need to start, under $30 including tax and shipping.

Of all the many people I’ve seen in the DIY, I can only think of a couple who really struggled and probably gave up.

It’s okay if you just don’t want to mix and you’re willing to accept whatever limitations that imposes on your vaping in the future.

It’s okay to say you don’t know how, and you’re confused.

But it’s not that hard. It’s as hard as you make it, and some of us go gourmet with a dozen flavors in micro ml amounts, seeking floral notes, etc.

But we all know 1,2, 3 flavor recipes.

All my mix equipment was in an empty tissue box for the first year. So it does not have to take over a whole room in your house.

And as for ‘being content with it’ I prefer my juice to commercial. I’m not just content. I won’t vape it if I don’t love it. And I have quite a few that I love so much I rotate between at least three of them a day.

just giving a visual of how easy it is, once it is routine
I've been tempted to do that on my mixing bottle too, at least for the VG, but then I would be resigning myself to no further reductions in nic level.
