Just ordered two of these things from deal extreme, now all i need is the build guide :D

PS: how easy are these things to take apart/ put back together?
Kind of easy??...lol

There are 2 screws on each end. Obviously, must remove those.

Now, with the pack facing up, (USB out should be on your left)

Dig your fingernails into the underside of the cover and gently pull up.

You'll notice that there is much resistance after that. The plastic latches on the cover do a fantastic job of staying clipped into the middle chrome center.

Instead of pulling across the front side, pull upwards towards the back. Once you get that side up, it's almost like it lets out a moment to sigh, ...or maybe that's me?

It should easily pop off from that moment.

As stated in the vid....it is rubber/silicone coated.....do not use any tools to remove the covers if you care about keeping it scratch free.

I have to say that you and the others, that have put their input, on this project have done a great job. I am very interested in this project for myself. I does not look that hard to do but I am looking forward to seeing the video or pics on the step by step. I'm sure that will help me alot.
Thanks to all

Thanks alot, i didn't think/didn't see any screws in your vid, that puts my mind at ease :) I'll let you know when they arrive, and post my results accordingly.

Now lets just pray on dealextreme!!

thanks again
No problem. They are pretty tiny screws, so it's not that easy to see in the vid.

But you can see them in pic's I've posted with in this thread.

Don't bet that the battery pack from Dealextreme is blue though! Dealextreme is notorious about sending you an item that is different in color than what's shown......this is what I'm relying on, I would rather have silver or white.

Just keep your eyes peeled. I'm working on it right now, but not that easy with kids always home and the wife never leaving me alone....was hard enough to make that video!
