Hmmm shows how old I am and how long I've been out of the loop. Used Loctite products all my career and didn't know about that.
I probably take something made with that ignorance recipe but I can't remember what's in it.
I wouldn't associate that with ignorance, just simply overlooked.

Here are some tips.
Some people are allergic or sensitive to it, so you may want to use latex gloves if you notice tingling in your fingers.
It's sticky, so have a wet sponge next to you to wet your fingers while kneading it, water won't hurt it, it chemically hardens once the 2 compounds are mixed. So even if under water, it will continue to cure.
Work fast! Remember, 3 minutes, sets in 5 and fully cured in 1 hour.
So be prepared.
Also, sometimes you may need to drill extra holes or make indentations on the surfaces you want to adhere to, so the putty has something to grab on to. This is not the case always, but just remember that if you have future problems with it adhering.
