SHIP20 for 20% off shipping.... Yes, a bit "chunky", but $80 for four gallons - much better than the $13/Qt I was paying on Amazon :)
That's a great price.I buy from them also, but when i got mine,i got 1 gallon of each for $59 shipped,so only $21 more for 2 extra gallons is a steal.

Yeah, you were who prompted me to go hunting. When I got to the ED site, the Cubes were on the main page, so of course, I had to explore (and then buy ) I googled coupons for ED, and found the 20% shipping coupon :)

Haven't posted in a little white... Found a new flavor combination that I like dragon fruit + Watermelon! Here's the latest version, shaking it at the moment...

Watermelon Splash?

Watermelon 9%
Dragon Fruit 5%
Sweetner 5%
Vanilla Swirl 4%
Cucumber 3%
Smooth 2%
Fruit Circles 2% (I don't have another citrus flavor lol)
Koolada 1%

That's an interesting flavor for me.
I can't taste it .. it's doesn't have any flavor to me, like it does for everyone else.
But ... I would not be caught without it. I add it to my fruits, and it gives the juice body and brings the flavors together without adding any of it's own flavor.
Either way, it's a good flavor to have on hand.
You did good

What percentage do you add it at if I may ask. I have just bought it but have not used it yet.

When adding to fruits, I usually add 1-2% ... but I don't use it in all of the fruits, just the ones that had a "bite", and it seemed to remove the harshness, add body, and bring the flavors together.
The easiest way, is for you to mix up a (solo) 2ml test of a fruit without it, and do the exact same, adding it. Then see if you notice the difference.

I test ALL of my flavors solo when I get them, just to see how strong they are, if I like them, and what I think they will add to a recipe.
Too me, if I don't like it, or can't taste it on it's own, it sure won't do anything in a recipe. .. but that's just me
So, Smooth would of gone down the drain if I had not discovered it stabilized some other flavorings.
I put it in the "additives" category, like AP, Vape Wiz, sweeteners, etc, and don't consider it a real "flavor" ... Others enjoy it as a real tobacco flavor, and you may too, but if you don't, it does have other uses.

It's been a few years since I tried the smooth just on it's own.
Again, I would make a 3ml test size of it, starting at 2%. .. let it sit a couple of weeks.

Tobacco's are the slowest to reach their peck of flavor.
Then, when vaping it, if there's not enough flavor, add another drop, shake, let it set overnight, and try again .. keep going up until you find the flavor you like.
Like I said, tobaccos are slow developer's . You try it right after mixing, think you like it, set it aside, get back to it after some time and "surprise" :w00t:
Hope you like it both ways.

I want to put something out here regarding recipes:

If it is something YOU came up with say it, if it is an adaptation or variation from another persons recipe always give credit where credit is due, and clearly say who's recipe you adapted yours from!

I'm no mixologist and have perhaps only posted a few recipes I adapted from recipes of a company that is no longer in business.

I say this because I inadvertently gave credit to Nic regarding the Starburst recipe, and in fact it is Bill'!

I know you all do this (most of the time), but it sometimes slips through the cracks!

My sincere apologies to Bill! :thumb:

Guess it's Ramen Noodles for me!

That is some of the truest words i have ever seen posted haha. When i first started diy,i bought mostly tobacco flavors. When i made test batches, most of them were pretty good,so i made 4 30ml bottles,1 of each that i thought was good.I wasn't really planning on steeping as i had no idea what that even was at the time haha,so i just planned on working my way through the bottles 1 at a time.By the time i got to the 3rd bottle,it tasted nothing like the sample i made of it,it was horrid haha,i dumped it and moved to the 4th bottle, same thing, just plain nasty,so i ended up wasting 60ml of my very small initial diy order. Now that i know what i'm doing,i have a few select tobacco juices that i know are good for the long haul, and any samples i leave a small amount to sit a month before i commit to larger sizes,i don't want any more surprises haha.I have also had this issue with non tobacco flavors as well, taste really good when made, then nasty a few weeks later,so i tend to tread lightly with new flavors now.

I want to thank everyone here for all the help I received so far. I say so far because I'm sure I'll need more. I came up after a few tries and wanted to share it. I don't have a name for it but it reminds me of a blueberry dessert.

13% Blueberry (extra)
6% Bavarian Cream
3% vanilla swirl
3% graham cracker
2% sweetener

Anyone have info on TFA Milk Chocolate or Yogurt?

TFA Milk Chocolate is pretty good, but it's better if you reinforce it with some Double Chocolate-Clear; the milk chocolate is actually more like white chocolate or cocoa butter, it needs more "cocoa-ness" which the Dbl Choc-Clear provides.

I did it!! I FINALLY made it to the end. I read (nearly) all 449 pages of this thread.

I need to place another order to add a few more vanillas and creams to my arsenal, along with a few random flavors, but I think I can whip-up a pretty good juice in almost any category thanks to all you fine folks. A special thanks (again; I hope you aren't sick of hearing this) to Bill for all his help when I was ready to try and flush my 4oz flavor bottles down the toilet, and Techy for his hard work putting so much useful information in one place. Thank you to everyone who has posted recipes, everyone who has tried those recipes and posted comments, and everyone who has already asked the questions I didn't know how to ask. You know this is truly a special community when someone can post a picture of a delicious dessert and have a list of flavors to start to try to mimic that dessert in no time.

What I am currently vaping: ( I just mixed it with blueberry because the end of the last bottle gave me a Kool-Aid Iced Blue Raspberry-ish flavor after a week and i'm going to try and get all the way there. Delicious without the blueberry)

Watermelon Lemonade

Watermelon Candy 5%
Lemon W/S 10%
Cotton Candy (EM) 2%
Blueberry (Extra)** 3%
**optional

I also like heavy Lemon flavor. It's one I have trouble tasting at low %, so you may want to back off if it's too strong for you.

Great question, by the way. The great Diketone debate. The reason that TFA carries flavorings in both diketone free and diketone "laden" versions is that enough vapers are concerned about it to provide for a second flavor market for the diketone free flavorings. I haven't tried them, but I've read about enough "work-arounds" to the flavorings in recipes to believe that there is a difference in flavoring and taste with the diketone free versions. That's simply speculation on my part, based on observation.

Because I don't buy into the diketone free argument (please vape at your own risk and do your own homework), I don't use them, and my juice still loves me as it always has. I am, personally, mostly focused on my 35 years of smoking, and replacing smoking with vaping, a great step in the right direction, I hope!

If I was worried about diketones, I would also be worried about the air I breathe, the water I drink, the food I eat, herbicides, pesticides, processed food, etc., all of which are equally toxic to diketones, or worse. How about twenty five years of Roundup on our food, the most toxic substance on Earth to plants? GMO's were created to survive this toxic pesticide. Now it's in about 70% of the food chain in the U.S. You cannot live in urban/suburban United States, and prevent exposure to chemicals that are bad for you. I suspect many of them will get me before the diketones, and so I don't worry about it. But I digress...:offtopic::facepalm:

So, to answer your question, my friend, I believe there is a difference in taste, and using them, or not, is an individual decision for each of us. Probably too much information....sorry for the soapbox.

Two cents. Good luck! :toast: :D

:2cool: :vapor:

I wanna like this post a billion times!!!

People ..is it dangerous to use TFA's vanilla custard, sweet cream, and cheesecake graham crust?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Unless you use the DX versions, custards and creams will have diketones (sp?). Whether they are really dangerous is a topic of hot debate. You'll have to decide for yourself.

I looked into the issue a while back and decided to not worry about it. The main reason for concern was the people who worked in a popcorn factory getting what they call "popcorn lung" - it's a deadly disease you definitely don't want to get. But only about 30 people have ever been diagnosed. Yet diketones are in a lot of stuff, even cigs. I decided the risk was infinitely miniscule so I don't worry about it.

You should do a bit of reading and decide for yourself.

Thanks Andria. What I'm looking for is a smooth milk chocolate like chocolate milk. what I don't want is a real or dark chocolate flavor. I recently got a bottle of The Milkman. It tastes a lot like a Fiber One Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar. I'm thinking The Milkman is a Milk Chocolate/Peanut Butter/Carmel/Marshmallow flavor. I have some White Chocolate I haven't used yet so think I will make a test batch using that and see where it goes. Thanks for the Help.
