Good to see you too, @DingerCPA !!
Yep, yep! Latest scans show that the wife is now cancer free!! Still recovering from surgeries and what-not, but she's getting her strength back and starting to move on with life. YAAAYY! Things are starting to get back to normal!!

Hope everything is going well up there in your world... from what I remember hearing, winter hung on a little longer than she shoulda, huh?

I wish I could like/love/:wub: with that news!!!!

Hahaha... yeah, you should have seen us after the appointment with the doctor... we were dancing down the halls, in the elevator, and all the way to the parking garage! HA! We actually went out to dinner that night (something we vary rarely do), and you couldn't have scrubbed the smiles off of our faces with scotchbrite and ajax! :D

Thanks be to God :)

Absolutely! Thank you for the love, Mama Dinger!! ~hugs~ We're definitely looking forward to life getting back to normal and enjoying the time that we have. Unfortunately the cancer metastasized and will very likely continue to return, and we'll deal with it when it does, but for now we're just choosing to focus on the present and enjoy it for the gift that it is. :)

Right back atcha!!!!

Now, you can tantalize us with some new recipes! I'm really pleased with the one I did the other day. My next quest is an oatmeal cookie..... Cinnamony, maybe a touch of butterscotch. I don't have raisin flavoring, so I will have to adjust with something else....

Yummm!! That sounds delicious!

I tried a raspberry lemonade the other day that was okay, but needs some work. It was fine at first, but got weird pretty fast. I'm just gonna scrap it and start over from scratch and see if I can come up with something better. I've been pretty stuck on my old peaches n cream recipe and just mixed another pint of it. Maybe this coming weekend I'll set aside some time for some experimentation and see what I can come up with. Definitely feeling the need to find a new ADV.

I'd definitely like to know about that process... oatmeal raisin cookies are another of my caloric downfalls... :D Great if I could enjoy the flavor without having to get fat from it! :thumb:

Rasberry seems to be one of the hardest flavors i have tried to work with.Every time no matter % it always has an off taste to me,that and starwberry,i've had a few decent strawberry juices, but they usually don't work well for me either.

Yeah, I'm not sure how to get it to work out. I mean, it was okay, and vapeable, but not something that I'd share with anybody... I still gots my pride to protect! LOL
I'll keep playing around with it... but I did just think that maybe a peach lemonade might be pretty good. I'm still loving the TFA Juicy Peach, and I think it might be pretty decent in a lemonade... unless it was the lemonade that got weird on me... :shrugs: Just have to see what happens, I guess...

Did you ever get a perfumey sort of taste from that Juicy Peach, and if so, how do you get rid of it?

No, it wasn't perfumey to me at all, and it's the major component in my peaches n cream... of course there are like 4-5 other flavors in there too, but I just get sweet peaches and a hint of cream, maybe a touch of the vanilla, but it's more accent than anything else.

Could you post that recipe? Or, is it in your blog? Mine didn't turn out very well, but I was just kinda wingin' it. :D

It's in my blog, with a few other recipes, but I can paste it here for ya.

Peaches-N-Cream
Juicy Peach - 10%
Sweet Cream - 8%
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream - 5%
Sweetener - 3%
Cotton Candy - 2%

You can adjust or substitute as desired, I bounce around with adding more vanilla (2-3% Vanillin) and play with the ratios a bit from time to time, but it's pretty good as posted to me. Just lemme know if you come up with a version that you like better, I'd like to give it a shot myself. :D

Thx very much! The only changes I would make, I use Capella Sweet Cream instead of TFA (because of diketones), and Vanilla Bean Gelato instead of ice cream for the same reason. All the other stuff, great! :thumb:

That'll work. I've used the Gelato instead of the Ice Cream, no much difference, honestly. The Cap Sweet Cream should be fine too... I don't worry too much about the diketones, I know there are people on both sides of that fence, so use what you're comfortable with. Just don't add Vanilla Bourbon to it.... trust me... ;)

I've just whipped up some of this - it's nice! :) My Peach is Molinberry and I did add a touch of TFA Whipped Cream to it but It's nice - really is.

I was told you could use Cotton Candy instead of Sweetener in a pinch. Are they that similar or was I misinformed?

In my experience they are pretty much interchangeable. I only added some Cotton Candy to the mix I just made because I happened to have it . If I didn't I would have gone for all EM. And I do mean Ethyl Maltol. Cappella Sweetener for instance is different since it is basically Splenda. Very much more powerful and does leave a bit of after taste IMO. YMMV.

Oh yeah, I love Kaezziel's Peaches 'n' Cream :) That, and Bill's Peach Cobbler. @AndriaD, no, I don't get the off-taste with the Juicy Peach. To me, it's JUST like biting into a perfectly-ripe peach. Now, Raspberry, on the other hand..... Whew, that is a tough one. Bill mentions using a few drops of Raspberry (I have Sweet) and/or Strawberry to offset some of the "perfumey" off-tones from other mixes. Jury's still out on that for me....

The Oatmeal Cookie.... Hmmmm, I was thinking about my Rumchata recipe because I love the combo of the Bavarian Cream and the French Vanilla Deluxe., and wondering if I might not just change out the Horchata for the Oatmeal Cookie flavoring. Most all else is in a good place for me (well, the Jamaican Rum is debatable.... Don't know if that can make up for the Raisin....) Trying to think about how that would all taste together. I want a bit of butterscotch in there too. I'm thinking of subbing Cinnamon Danish for the Cinnamon Spice, too....

Just got A home from the hospital, and I'm friggin EXHAUSTIPATED.... The 100DT will have to wait until I have more of my wits about me...

But, just to throw some numbers out so I don't forget....

Oatmeal Cookie - 8%
Cinnamon Danish - 3% (this is VERY strong to me - YMMV, but I think it should enhance the "bakery" aspect)
Bavarian Cream - 5%
French Vanilla Deluxe - 5% (I'm going to start with French Vanilla Creme @ 5%)
Butterscotch - 3%
Jamaican Rum - 2%
Sweetener - 4%

May give this a try later tonight or tomorrow :)

BWAH HA HA HA HA HA HA..... I'm a bloomin' I-D-10-T!!!! I thought I had Oatmeal cookie as part of my ginormous flat of flavorings, but alas (poor Yorick) I have not. That wasn't one of the flavorings that came with
