I still have a half gallon of vg,and just under half on the pg since i do alot of extracts,but i ordered now anyway because the price was too good to pass on.I bought those jugs this time last year,so they last me a long time,but this stuff has at least a few years shelf life,so i can stay stocked up and not worry about running out.
Bulk Apothecary is about 45 minutes each way from me. Nice find!
Anyway... Maybe I missed it but... Are any of TFA's apple flavors close to 7 Daze Selfie Sunday? I love that stuff!
And would marshmallow or a cream flavor be good to add some... body and sweetness to a pink lemonade flavor from another company?

Do you have some posts on DIY extracts? I'm curious on your process. I've read a bit in to it but have not done it yet. Planned on starting with a citrus, orange or lemon likely, but am open to other fruits.
Marshmallow perhaps. I like to use capella's super sweet at 2% in my lemon mixes though. I do use TFA marshmallow as a sweetener in other mixes.

FA Mango .. not impressed ...
LA Mango .. had to go to 10%, and it's wasn't bad, but just "so so" to me
INW Mango EA ... 5% solo .. bitter, and sweetener didn't help .. dumped it
VZ Mango C .. bitter again, but add in a real "green" unripe taste along with it... dumped it too
BUT ....
HS Mango .. now we're talking ... yum yum .. 8% solo for me, it's fantastic .. cream of the crop
Also good added to a nice smooth, mellow tobacco.
Everyone I refer it too, loves it .. maybe start there.
My taste buds suck, so the % may be a little high for you to start with, but it's the pick of the litter.

As long as your there, I like their Plum, Mojito, Juicy Peach, Raspberry, and Blue Cola (not the Red Cola) better than anyone else's.
If your into a mild Licorice, their Aniseed is good.
I also love their tobacco flavors .. they make the best, (other than TFA RY4 Double)

I haven't tried extracting any fruits yet,i've only done tobacco,tea,and vanilla beans,but it has been very simple.I just put some tobacco or tea into a jar,pour in enough pg to cover it,let it sit a while to soak in,then pour in enough to cover it again,and then let it sit for around 4-6 weeks.I'm not sure if the actual fruit would work or not,but i would say the peel may be a way to go on it for orange and lemon.
I have done lemon and orange alcohol tinctures on a large scale, that is why I was thinking of doing them first. Indeed you just use the peel and let it soak for about 4 weeks with a shake now and then. I wasn't sure of the process with PG versus alcohol, especially on some more fruitier types like strawberry, watermelon, mango, pineapple or berries. Typically when I do them with alcohol I take the tincture and mix it 50% with a simple syrup, but I imagine that would not be a good idea with vaping.
Okay, I think I finally landed on a Vanilla Custard recipe that I'm happy with. Definitely benefited from my most recent flavor run, and I'm thinking it might make a decent base to add some fruits to.

French Vanilla Creme - 5%
Dulce De Leche - 5%
Egg Nog - 5%
Sweetener - 5%
Might still benefit from a little further tweeking, but I'm liking it quite a bit right now!

It's just the name I came up with for the recipe... it's my 10th attempt at making a decent Vanilla Custard...

I like this version because the vanilla is rather prominent. It comes through nicely on the inhale and the exhale. The egg nog adds a nice bit of 'egginess' on the inhale as well... just seems more custard-like to me than most of my previous attempts. Feel free to critique it if you give it a try... I'm always up for hearing someone else's opinion on anything I come up with!
Sounds like my cup of tea so to speak. I'd like to try mixing it with some fruit flavors I ordered also.
If you want to mix it with fruits, I'd suggest mixing all of the VX10 ingredients together separately and call that a 'base', then use 20% base, 10% fruit, 70% nic/vg/pg... I think that will work out nicely. At least in my head...
