I think it happens to all of us at some point.I have probably 150 flavors, and still at least once a week i will see a recipe that sounds good, and i will be missing 1 flavor,it never fails to work that way haha.
I hear ya. My last flavor order broke 200 flavors. And I already have 20 flavors on my shopping list and only 5 of them are "refills."
The downfall to that is that i now have several flavors that were only used in a single recipe, and i have never seen them used in any others,so i have ended up with several that may never get used again,so now i try to only order what i know i can use in other recipes as well.
You never know when you are going to find a gem though. I picked up TFA's Sea Buckthorn (so far I have only found it at Wizard Labs) on a whim and it turned out to be a GREAT "Pineapple" substitute for me. All the pineapples I have tried in the past have been too overpowering for me, but the sea buckthorn is perfect as a blender (I haven't tried it as a stand-alone).
But that said; I DO have a few that I will probably never touch again, and a few more I haven't even opened yet (I either haven't got around to the recipe that called for it or I can't remember why I wanted it). Squirrel...... !:D

Haha,i have a few like that myself.I have around 10 that i have ordered for different recipes, but by the time i get them i can't find the recipe again,or i just completely forget what they were for haha.I have probably 20 or so that i just could never use again, and would love to forget that they exist haha.I'm just guessing on the 150,it could be a few more,as i quit counting a long time ago,but out of all of them,i have maybe 10 that are used frequently, which leaves me with roughly 140 or so that i could have used the money from to buy something else, but ya never know until you try a flavor if it will work for you or not,so i will continue on my quest haha.

I don't know what I was thinking of on my last order but I got dairy milk and a couple other oddballs.
Dairy milk is actually a very versatile flavor. It works really good with the cereal type recipes, and it also works great with yogurt recipes. There are probably other flavors that it would work well with too.I could even see it giving cheesecake recipes a bit more creamy taste without really changing the taste of the cheesecake.

Not sure where I read this but, inw catcus flavoring is said to make other fruit flavors pop. I would never have thought to use this on its own, but have added it to my list of flavors to buy. I have some fruit flavors that need something else to them, cause they are tasting kinda lame right now.
We will see.
@hittman OSDIY has an arnold palmer tea that is very lemony. Really don't taste the tea at all imo. But its a good lemon tasting flavor.

I've heard that too,not only fruit, but i have read any flavor that is sort of dry tasting,it will add that moistness without effecting flavor.Guess what,I bought it a while back, and it sits unopened in my not sure box haha.I have seen a few people say it's a good flavor on it's own too,so one day i'll give it a try as a stand alone, and maybe even try adding it to some other mixes.

Well, see you ahead of the game. Glad you re-discovered why you bought it. LOL

That was my first thought when i seen your post haha.I knew there was a reason i got it,it was one of those, read about it,gotta have it,never use it deals haha.Although, now i really want to try it as a standalone, maybe i'll try the Tfa sweet tea that i've had sitting in that box for the last 6 months too haha.

I have been using OSDIY sweet tea and that one actually tastes like its suppose to. Can really taste the tea and the sweet is not overpowering at all. Let us know how Tfa's sweet tea is.

I wondered about their sweet tea.I got the blue raspberry slush, strawberry milk, and old tyme rootbeer a while back.I debated possibly getting the sweet tea instead of the strawberry milk, since i'm not a huge fruit fan,but figured since i already had the tfa st,i would pass on it.I'll have to try both the Tfa and the OSDIY though,i love drinking sweet tea,so a juice in that flavor should be good too.

I am a big tea drinker myself.....Sweet tea in warm months and hot tea in colder months. Never could drink coffee. In fact if chocolate ever has any coffee in it,(some pre-made ejuices do), even if I can't taste it my body instantly reacts to it. Makes me want to vomit. Another good reason to DIY.

How are their shipping prices? They don't have any info on the page and you can't find out without checking out.
Let me check my invoice....brb

edit. I paid to have it shipped priority @6.25 but remember they have a first class option of around $3. They actually had it packed and at the po inside of 2 hours.
:)

I got 6 of their Blended Flavors this week. They smell delicious! I need to get some mixed.

Early on I did a mix with pineapple and four kinds of vanilla. It was pretty good. Maybe I'll give it a try again.

Have you tried something similar to a Pina Colada with your TFA Pineapple? I made one I call Hawaiian Delights using it along with these other TFA flavorings: DX Coconut, DX Banana Cream, DX Sweet Cream, a little Sweetener, and a tiny bit of Smooth. Of course, you could use regular versions, instead of those DX ones I used.
