I just knew I was going to love pb! Nope!
I did make one PB recipe yesterday. It was ok. But, I am really a light, fruity vape kinda girl. Most desserts, chocolates, etc, are just too "heavy" for me. Even fruit cobblers and such are almost too much.

I track all my packages by text messages. you can reply "HELP" to their messages h they'll send you an 800# to call. Once you call just keep asking for customer service till you get a human on the line h make a complaint. The problem I have is getting a message at 7pm that my package was delivered to my PO Box at 11am. Only I went to the PO at noon & there wasn't a package. I've finally narrowed their timing down & go around 2 & it's usually there.
Yeah,i called them each time, and never got anywhere with it.The last one,i even got a call back from the supervisor at my local po because of the complaint, and after a long conversation the only thing that i came away from it with was pretty much that i was screwed because the carrier said it was delivered.

Haha, yeah, got a month and 8 days on it haha.I actually forgot about it until now, been following all the Fda crap and completely forgot it was there,i'll get a tank cleaned out this weekend and give it a try.

Don't even get me started on all this FDA crap... I'm just happy that I've got enough stuff to last me for a while. I'm still holding out hope that things get turned around and the regulations loosen up a bit, though. :)

What is this Brickhouse custard you speak of?

It's a vanilla custard that I've been working on for several months. Between Brickhouse Custard and Aphrodite's Kiss (a honeyed pear juice), I've been struggling through a labor of love for quite a while. I've finally gotten them to a point where I am happy with the results. :)

I have not made it yet but I saved it. :)

Kaezziel Posted on ECF flavor thread on 4-29-2016

Okay, well here is my vanilla custard recipe. I think that I am finally happy with this one... even though it really needs to steep for about a month.

Brickhouse Custard
TFA Vanilla Custard - 10%
TFA French Vanilla Creme - 5%
TFA Dulce De Leche - 5%
TFA Egg Nog - 5%
TFA Vanilla Bourbon - 3%
TFA Sweetener = 2%

KAS

Thanks KAS! I had already left for the day... thankfully, ya were watchin' my back for me. ;)

Diketone Stew ?:pervy:

Diketones are the MSG of vaping... that's where all the good flavors come from. Seriously, I'm not overly concerned with them, myself. I respect that some vapers watch out for them and try to make juices without them, I'm just not one of those vapers. There may be diketone free versions of the flavors I used for this, but I haven't looked in to it.

I know I should worry about that, but I don't really buy into it too much. I am going to vape what tastes good to me, I only vape about 6 to 8 ML a day, too small a percentage of the Diketones to worry about them, compared to what tobacco has in it.:|

KAS

Exactly. I go through a bit more juice than that (10 to 15 mL a day), but it's still less than what was in cigarettes. And I rotate flavors, so some of my juices don't have any diketones at all... I'm just looking for the flavor, where ever it comes from!

As promised, here is the recipe that I mentioned yesterday. Still tweaking it a bit, next attempt I am going to lower the sweetener to 1%, increase honey to 2%, and maybe bump up the peanut butter a touch... still need to get some AP, because I think that would help a lot...

Honey Nut Custard (all TFA flavors)
Vanilla Custard - 10%
French Vanilla Creme - 8%
Peanut Butter - 8%
Sweetener - 2%
Honey - 1.5%

Then they should correct their carrier for falsely recording a package as delivered that wasn't. That is falsifying a Federal document & carries a penalty. Throw that at them. Ask that Supervisor if they are willing to be named as complicit for failing to take action. I'm good at this stuff. Be assertive, peeplzzz!

Agreed. One cigarette contains 8 times the amount of diketones than is diluted in a months supply of eliquid. I'm good with that. Especially since I'm not smoking 20+ cigarettes a day.

I was mostly just giving you the business there. So many of the good flavors DO come from the Diketones. I use them pretty freely myself. I would rather not have them in there in light of some of the research but I find V2 versions of most flavors really lacking. As many said, compared to a 2 pad habit, these aint nothing.

Exactly! Besides... I tend to relish in my vices. ;) Eating cardboard, drinking bottled water, and living in a bubble just ain't my idea of "living". LOL

It's pretty good ATM; better after a week or two. I made a larger batch this time, so I may get to the 1 month mark before it's all gone... so far, the batches that I've made haven't lasted that long. ;)

It's all good, Mon Capitaine! I don't really take any of this stuff personally, anyway. We all have our own opinions and preferences. As I said, I respect that others wish to avoid such things. That said, I completely agree with you. I have a few of the DX versions and can tell the difference in flavor... just isn't quite right. And since I'm past the 7 year mark of vaping after a pack and a half a day habit of non-filtered cigarettes... a l'il diketone don't scare me much.

I agree,it definitely won't stop me,just slow me down a bit.The one and only good thing i can say will come from it for me,is in the next month,i will buy everything that i would have taken a few years to buy,so once done,i will actually have spare money to put towards my camaro, instead of blowing every extra dime i have on vape stuff.I think their whole plan blew up on them, they thought they would end vaping, but instead they have created a buying frenzy.

I've been buying like crazy too. I think I've bought three mods, about ten tanks, a liter of nic, hundreds of feet of wire and some batteries so far. I'm thinking I need more nic. I haven't even started stocking up on flavors yet.

I'm in the same mode. I do want to get more nic. I've got enough fo over 10 years at my current ratio, longer if I keep decreasing my level. But I have 2 other vapers in the family & I love them enough to supply them if they need it. Still want a few small replacable batt mods, wire, flavoring, batteries to be married, pg/vg....& waiting on Ehpro to make me some KF v5's.

Keep in mind that this is just my opinion.
I do not think we need to stock up on anything other than mods, tanks, and nicotine. The only flavors i see having a problem getting may be tobacco type flavors, and those made specifically for vaping.Tfa,Capella,etc. are all food flavors that were not made for vaping.18650 batteries were not designed for mods, they are used in a lot of rechargeable tools, flashlights, laptop battery packs, etc. Cotton or rayon were not made for vaping, and Kanthal,SS,and nickel wire were all not designed for vaping.
All of these things were around long before vaping, and all are used in several other applications that the Fda has absolutely no control over. The flavors, yes they can control those, but again, they are food flavors for food use,we vapers have figured out that they can be used for our purpose, but that is not what they were designed or intended for, except like i mentioned tobacco flavors, and most of the dx/v2 stuff.
Trying to stock pile batteries will eventually leave you with a bunch of bad batteries,as they have a shelf life like most everything else.

Batteries should not be too much of an issue considering:

The Tesla battery contains over 6800 3100mA 3.7V Panasonic 18650 Li-ion battery cells!

If only that were true. I would send every vendor a duplicate check for this year's purchases with a note in the memo line saying "Ha Ha; Ya got me! Funny! Now DON'T you ever do that again!" But, sadly, I keep waking up to our current mess... <sigh>

If only that were true. I've got about 6 years worth of nic if I stay at the same level. I am thinking at least another 4 years worth. By then I would think that there would be some way to get nic. I'm sure it'll be way more expensive though.

I know what you mean. I'm working on stockpiling some of the cCells for the Vaporesso Target (these are the BEST prebuilt heads I've ever used). Fortunately, one head lasts me at least a month... other than that, I want to pick up a few new RTAs and RDAs. Maybe a couple of mods, but that's not entirely necessary. I already have several mechs and a couple regulated mods. And nic... definitely need more nic. The wife has actually been looking for a small chest freezer or even one of those little beverage chiller things for me. Pretty much anything that would allow me to keep it cool and stable. Other than that, I should be good to go. I just need to take advantage of some of these awesome sales that are going on everywhere!

I absolutely agree with everything you said here. The regulations are draconian, but the FDA doesn't have the reach required to cripple those of us who know how to fend for ourselves. And even if they did, they couldn't do it without crippling many other industries. The saddest part of the regulations is how much it will stifle new vapers who haven't learned the things that we have over the years, and prevent smokers from getting the gear that we currently have. The gear that works. The gear that actually gets people OFF of cigarettes.

Yum! I don't have any honey though

Hmmmm... I'm trying to think of a viable substitute for honey flavoring, but I can't really think of anything. I bought it a while back for my Aphrodite's Kiss recipe and am now finding other things to put it in. I got hooked on honey juice back when I was buying pre-made stuff and had to find a way to DIY with it. ;)
