Where do you guys buy your glass bottles? I have a quart of essential depot vg that I have used half of and it's getting kind of hard to reach the VG since it's such a tall bottle. Luckily I have some 4 inch blunt tip needles but I need like a 250 ml or probably a 500 ml glass bottle to transfer it to. I like those blue and green colored Boston round style bottles but anything will work.

In the interim I might end up using a little Smuckers apple jelly glass jar. Just clean it real good in the dishwasher.

But what is better for storing nic, pg, and vg... Mason jars or Boston rounds?

Nice to be organized!

I personally use a lot of boston rounds, I have never rebottled my VG or PG though, if I did I would get some jars I think. I got my bottles from Specialty bottle, they are just who I have always used, there are a lot of places to get bottles though, and some that are a bit cheaper. here are a couple of links. :)

Thanks KAS. I'll look for some new bottles there. I have plenty of 30ml Boston rounds in both glass and plastic but need larger sizes. 50 and 100 ml would be great for dropper bottles.

Making a new mix today how would this recipe be that I was thinking of making...

TFA Juicy Peach... 7.5 %
TFA Bavarian Cream....5%
TFA Marshmallow 2%(It's what I use for sweetener now)
TFA Coconut Extra 0.17% (think just a half a drop in an 8ml bottle gives fruits a little boost)

Another idea I had was mixing the Juicy Peach with FW Blueberry or mixing the Juicy Peach with TFA Apricot.

What's the recipe :)
10% Honeydew
5% Vanilla Bean Gelato
5% Sweet Cream
2% Sweetener

Vanilla Bean Ice Cream can be used instead of Vanilla Bean Gelato for a fuller, richer taste.

My personal favorite and adv for a long time now. I vape enough of this that I make flavor-only bottles 120ml at a time

Glass Bottle Outlet is always my go-to site. They tend to have the best prices (for plastic too).
eBottles.com is worth checking out as well (again both glass and plastic).
If I just need onesy/twosies, and I am also needing concentrates, I have bought from One Stop DIY Shop.
But what is better for storing nic, pg, and vg... Mason jars or Boston rounds?
PG and VG aren't too finicky; pretty much anything will work. Nicotine, on the other hand, Is sensitive to light, air, and heat. I am not a fan of wide-mouth jars as they are the worst for air exposure. For my working bottle I use a small (120 mL or less) boston round bottle and replenish as needed (about every 30-90 days) Glass or plastic is not too critical at this stage as the nic doesn't stay in it very long. Long-term storage is always amber glass boston rounds with minimal headspace and into the freezer.

I measure by weight so I am partial to plastic squeeze bottles for my working bottles. Yorker caps are especially nice for PG and VG. But if you measure by volume (ie. syringes) glass will give you better protection from oxidation and flavor loss (in concentrates and nic).

@Chris863 - Since you're in FL and Glass Bottle Outlet is located in Sebring, FL...your S/H should be less from them. I did a comparison about 8 months ago, of the top 3 bottle suppliers used on the ECF. Found that GBO was definitely the lowest cost for the amber glass boston round bottles with polycone caps, so I've been using them for my orders. Being closer, for delivery time & cost factors...was just a bonus!

I also agree with other...I wouldn't even bother to rebottle all your PG and VG. I used to keep some of each in a 60mL or 125mL bottle with my mixing stuff and then refill them as needed from the jugs. Now, since I measure by volume alittle differently now...I just use 2 squirt bottles from Walmart (about $1.88 for 2). They're clear in color, and shaped like the old catsup & mustard bottles they used to put on each table in restaurants years ago. I refill them from the jugs as needed.

Sharing a work in progress...
I'm looking for a creamy, salty caramel - I have enough RY4 variants so this will be caramel dominate. I am shooting for a base that can be used on the fly when I have a hankering for something but know I want this flavor in the mix and without the hassle of dragging out all these flavors for just 120ml. I tend to keep "flavored bases" on hand and add flavor shots to them.

Been a few months worth of remixes - caramel - to me - can get lost in the mix easily and not very stand out on its own as a single flavor. All the flavors in the base mix are here to accentuate and elevate the caramel feel - the sensory perception (mouth feel, nose exhale, etc) not just to say "Hey, I taste caramel!". I can do that easily...I'm experimenting to see if I get levels deeper into the flavor experience.

This all sounded right in my head - I'm reading it and have reworded several times already and I still sound insane! I hope you guys get the meaning though...

Here's the recipe as it stand how. This is a fresh mix tonight - hasn't steeped obviously - I will leave cap off for 24 hours as customary for me now. I do not heat steep - I think it messes adversely with some flavors so I stopped completely.

TFA Caramel 8%
TFA Brown Sugar Extra 1.5% (this is for a more caramelized feel)
TFA Sweetener 1%
INW Shisha Vanilla 3% (through my previous mixes - this vanilla won out in flavor to compliment the caramel without overpowering the mix)
INW Biscuit 2% (full mouth-feel sense - adds a bit of spice but not overbearing)
TFA Bavarian Cream 2% (this and fresh cream to added in equal parts to give the creaminess I want)
FA Fresh Cream 2%
EM .5 (POINT 5) (bring it all together without muting flavors - I don't use this much at all but seems to work very well with the direction I'm going)

Mixed 30ml then added 3 drops of saline - I'll need to wait till tomorrow to see if I need to add more.

I love this DIY journey and thank and appreciate you all for contributions. I have learned so much :)

I am playing with something like this but want butterscotch in there to help each other (blend). I appreciate your WIP. Gave me the inspiration to go back and revisit my recipe. I will brainstorm tonight, try tomorrow. Thanks again for the inspiration.

It's yummy all by itself ... no need to add anything.
They recommend you start any of their flavors at 15%

I have made my own Sterile Saline Solution in the past with non-iodized table salt. Do you make it or buy it?
What I use:
In the First Aid section of the pharmacy, pick up some .9% Saline (Wound Wash/Flush).
It's used to clean out open wounds .. safe for a baby.
It's pure sterile water with .9% saline solution, and comes in a spray can.
It comes out of the can in a stream that is easy to direct into a dripper bottle.

I add about 1 drop per 2ml. to my juice.
It brings out the flavor (just like salt does in cooking), ... it smooth's out the harshness (maybe the bitterness you pick up on), .. and blends the flavors together.
It works especially good with fruits and chocolates.
You will not taste any salt, as it's super mild.
It will "brighten" the flavor of the fruit, but I find it doesn't help banana :p

There is also a saline solution you spray/inhale up your nose ..but that's the wrong one.
It has added ingredients.

You want the one without anything in it except the .09 saline and sterile water, that is used to clean wounds.
Have fun experimenting.

Where did you find it? Thanks!
I originally bought it from Mt Baker to try, but they don't sell flavorings anymore.
So when I fell in love with it, I went directly to the Flavor West site, and bought a larger bottle.

I use the sterile Eye drop kind.

Well...I'll need to look but that link above may be the correct one. not the eye drops.
