At least they left you a notice,so you knew it was in town.My regular mailman is very good,if nobody is home when he delivers,he will put any packages in between the door and screen door,or somewhere where people passing by wont see it.Now if we have a substitute carrier,it gets so screwed up it's unbelievable,it's gotten to the point that i talked with our regular carrier, and he let's me know ahead of time when he will be taking vacation time so i can hold off on ordering anything that would be delivered during that time haha.I had 3 different times that i had a package coming, and ended up with a sub delivering the days that they were supposed to be here,2 of them i have never recieved even though they showed out for delivery that day,and the other is the best i have ever seen.My house is not hard to find at all,and my address is very clearly marked on the front of the house, but this sub sent my package back to the post office, and then back to the sender with a notice that said "Address does not exist, return to sender" this one still baffles me,i must have one hell of an imagination to be able to come to my non existent house every day of the week, open the door and walk in,it must just be all in my head, because some idiot can't see it right in front of him haha.I complained on that same guy several times,as he was the same one to "lose" 2 packages several weeks apart from each other, and then send the 3rd back.I was told they were getting several complaints about him and they assured me he would not be delivering my area again, but yet i still see him every few months,so now i just plan ahead and hope our regular guy doesn't get sick or take an unexpected day off haha.

HA! I don't feel so bad now Bill lol

I've made friends with our mail man to the point where he won't ALLOW any substitute carriers to deliver packages on his route to us unless its medication related :) When I order something, I just leave a note or stop and talk to him if I'm around and say "Hey, TFA is sending........" or what have you.

I've been through that B.S. that read is going through and I H-A-T-E it! The way they operate makes NO sense what so ever in the above situation. And they wonder why the employees go "postal"! HA! I say its self explanatory!

It's just called "Strawberry Flavor" on the bottle. I assume it's what Bill was referring to on his "must" list. At least I hope so, because I got 4oz of it!

Glad you're back home, if not quite to the lab yet!

Well, I made some pies and the above Strawberry custard/cream. I'm liking the custard cream, and I liked Bill's Pies: I made Lemon Meringue, Dutch Apple ala Mode (but wrong), and Key Lime.

I also did get around to the Pink Starburst, and that Sweet and Tarts really took it in a different direction. Very candy like, the cream was way in the background.

I'm trying to wrap my head around having flavors, mostly just copying easy to find forum posts. I've considered a S'more, is that inspiring? I'm sure its a tough one. I know I've got Double Chocolate (Dark), Chocolate (Clear), and Bittersweet, as well as Marshmallow and graham cracker. What could go wrong?

Ok, cool! Must be Strawberry Sweet then. DARN lol I don't have that strawberry and didn't add it to my last order. Was too worried about the bread flavs for my danish. Which I think I've got a good base Danish going on paper, but getting to the lab in the next 48 hours may be difficult. Hard to say. Depends on what hubby wants to do tomorrow. Geeze-you give a guy a day off and he wants to spend it with his wife! IMAGINE hehehehe Actually, he sits there and watches me mix stuff and enjoys all the smells. I can't complain.:wub::wub: Then again, if something smells really good, I end up creating something similar in the kitchen LOL

Ohhh ohhh ohhhh!! You have chocolate?!?!?!?!?! yes, make something fun with that so I can live vicariously through you while I am in between naps tonight  That's another avenue of flavor I need to order and haven't got to yet. I'd LOVE to have chocolates so I can make something like Smore's!!!! I'm not sure if you read a while back, but I've been a bit stand offish on the chocolate family in general. I just don't care for "fake" chocolate flavoring in anything and was afraid that if I bought it, I would find that everything tasted fake chocolately. I didn't want to. But Bill explained that if you add the appropriate creams and such, that wouldn't happen..... so now I'm game to try, but haven't had a chance to get any yet :(

Sooooooooooooooooooo, I WILL get that sweet strawberry one of these days darnit-so that I can make that starburst LOL

In the meantime-outside of my Danish-I would like to put together some Milkstone to play with and SOMETHING with that Cantaloupe and Peach (Juicy). I thought I'd have more time to mess with the Danish, and was planning on doing a Peach Filled Danish! But I am not sure if I'll have the time now :(

I'm not into DIY much, but do like to make a few simple things to mostly mix with other things.

I'm wanting to make a 10ml bottle with TPA Sweet Cream flavour - nothing else, just Sweet Cream to add to other things such as plain fruits to make them creamy.
I have the VG base with 0.6mg nicotine that I like, so just need to know the best percentage to add to 10ml - I like a positive flavour, but all I can find as guidance is 1-10%.
Does anyone have anything a little more specific please?

I've only used Sweet Cream as an additive, usually 2-3%.
You can start at 10% for a stand alone but I doubt you'll even taste it...
Some Vanilla Swirl 2-3 % works good for adding some creamy vanilla too, (in addition to Sweet Cream).

Ah thanks - I do have some Vanilla Swirl!
I saw that MBV do a Sweet Cream ready to use, but rather than place an order, thought I'd make a bottle of my own seeing I have the Sweet Cream flavouring ...wasn't too sure what else may be in it though!
Perhaps I'll be better just getting a bottle of the MBV!

I can't recommend that Strawberry highly enough. I used 3ml last night making 20 of my custard cream, so I'm quite glad I went with the 4oz. It just smells so good! My favorite flavor from Totally Wicked, my main juice supplier, was Strawberry. But with creams and custards, I prefer my own mix! It's grown on me since last night, and aged nicely :) my second favorite was "lemon sherbet", and I'm wondering how a sherbet compares to a custard. That's on my "replicate" list. I think I still have a half ml or so to taste, now that I've got my goodies.

Chocolate is hard. In my extremely limited experience, it really wants to go "hot chocolate" if you've got a warmish vape, which isn't exactly my thing, nor my girlfriend's. I'm gonna have to play around with the few chocolates I've got to try and make something bitter enough.

But again: if you're into fruit, get that darn strawberry. It's made two really great mixes for me, in it's first 24 hours of my possession :)

Ya, I've got to start ordering some 4oz'ers in a few diff things once I get a bit more.... "settled" lets say. I've got to work on Jay's Custard a bit. I know where my grandmother went with hers now and I've got a fairly good idea what I have to do to "fix" it more to her custard flavor. I know its funny, but the first thing I want that stupid strawberry for is the starburst! More because everyone seems to rave about it than anything else hahahaha Then I can branch off.

Honestly, there is ONE darn juice I'd LOVE to replicate, but for the LIFE of me I cannot discern what is in it and the description is QUITE vague. Since I don't want to seem like I'm promoting a certain company or anything, I'd be happy to PM anyone a link if they want to try and figure it out too. I can say this, it has no hint of the usual tank cracker/fogger ingredients-but it fogged the crud out of my T3S's :( (brand darn new of course!)k

Let me knom how your chocolate world goes. I'm always open for suggestions on things I'm leery of. In fact, if it wasn't for Bill answering a few questions at first, I'd still be buying my juices!

TFA Sweet Cream does have "custard notes", TFA Vanilla Swirl does not.
FW Sweet Cream has them too.
FA (FlavourArt) has Fresh Cream, Vienna Cream, Catalan Cream, Irish Cream that are all free from the "custard notes".
As are most all of the FA flavorings, except in the Kitchen Magic line.

It's just "Strawberry Flavor". I've been trying to be careful about typing exactly what the label says, because I know lots of flavors come in varieties. I accidentally got Raspberry (Sweet) when I thought I was working with Raspberry. I had no idea there were even two raspberries! Hopefully I'll avoid getting Butter (Movie Theater) instead of Butter in the future :D

I am the same way.I won't order a 4oz. until i know it's a flavor i like and will use enough of to make it worthwhile.I just very recently started getting a few, sweet cream, vanilla swirl, and the sweet orange,i have a list of the others i will be getting the large sizes of,a few a week. The orange was the only one i didn't get a sample size of first, only because nobody has it in smaller sizes,so that one was a shot in the dark, going off of others reccomendations in this thread,so i'm really happy that it is good,i hate to waste money if it's no good,so that one worked out good for me haha.
As for the chocolate,i am the same way,i can't stand an artificial chocolate taste,so i never bothered to order any of them. Then Bill posted all those candy bar recipes, and i figured i would give those flavors a shot, got them in sample sizes,so i only paid $3 for the 2 together, figured no big loss if i didn't like them.I did not try the chocolates on their own so i cant say what they taste like alone, but in the almond joy and peanut butter cup, they are great. Both the double dark and the milk chocolate, are both on my list to get in 4oz. now.

Readeuler, since you mentioned s'mores, here is a recipe i found a while back that sounds like it should be a good one,i haven't tried it yet,but plan to.

s'mores

Double Chocolate - 10%
Marshmallow - 10%
Graham Cracker - 5%
