A little update on the banana bread. I did 7% banana nut bread and 2% vanillin. At first it tasted like banana candy. I had loaded the 100dt into a mini subtank. Since I didn't like it at first I just sat it aside for a week or so. I put it back on this morning and it has transformed. It tastes a lot more like banana nut bread. The candy taste has gone away and I swear I can taste a touch of cinnamon in the bread flavor. I wouldn't say it's a finished recipe but it must have needed to steep.

Try this one, it's very good. Not my recipe but have been using it for a while.

    7% Caramel Candy
    7% Banana Nut Bread
    3% Ripe Banana
    3% Bavarian Cream
    2% EM

@hittman, I think it's from the dropbox (although I can't seem to find it there....) Somewhere from this thread, tho, and I don't know to whom I should give credit...

    Pear - 5%
    Juicy Peach - 5%
    Cotton Candy - 5%
    Brown Sugar - 5%

Smells DIVINE!!!! Haven't loaded any up yet, but I'm looking forward to it. All six are "new" for me.

Even after buy 35 flavors it seems I'm always missing something. I don't have brown sugar. I was trying to come up with a mix a couple weeks ago to copy Agnostic Brew's tribulation. The description is honeydew, peach, and pear I think. Anyway the flavors came out way too strong and sweet at 7% each and I haven't messed with it since.

Why don't you dilute it with some base or pg or vg?bring the percent down

Just some info I found. I know this is a TFA thread, but we also use flavors from other flavor vendors. I also know several have said they want to (or are) experiment with yogurt flavors. For those concerned about diacetyl, this is a reddit thread re FA Yogurt:

    https://m.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/341xk3/lets_talk_yogurt/

If it doesn't post, it is under DIY_eJuice, a topic called lets_talk_yogurt on reddit.

If it is not something I can post, I submit my apologies to the mods....

Hey, y'all... I did a little experimenting this weekend and was going for a vanilla flavor. What I came up with seems to taste like a smokey vanilla custardy type of thing. Not extremely custardy, and not too sweet. Thinking about adding a bit of sweetener, but some of y'all may like it as is... lemme know whatcha think...

    Smokey Vanilla
    Vanilla Custard 10%
    French Vanilla Deluxe 5%
    Egg Nog 5%
    Vanillin 5%
    Vanilla Bourbon 3%
    Toasted Marshmallow 2%

I don't really like sharing recipes that I personally came up with, but here's one from my personal line. I feel that it's too good NOT to share lol.

    Crunchy Berry

    Blueberry (Extra) - 8%
    Strawberry (Ripe) - 8%
    Bavarian Cream - 4%
    Sweet Cream - 2%
    Marshmallow - 2%
    Acetyl Pyrazine - 4 drops per 30ml

Add desired amount of nicotine, finish with straight VG. Shake well, steep for a few days.

LOL... I was diggin' through all of my little wizardlabs bottles and just started throwing stuff together. It could probably use some improvement, but not bad for an off-the-cuff mix... let me know how it works for ya and if you make it better, then I'd definitely like to try whatever you changed. I need to get some Vanilla Swirl... I think that might round it out a bit. But then again it might round out the 'smokiness' a bit, too...

I've been running out of my most used flavors (VBIC, Honeydew, Sweet Cream, Vanilla Swirl, etc) and a few others and just realized how the honeydew costs more than twice as much as the average flavor (in basically any size). Has anyone else noticed this?

I think I've decided that I am no longer going to be giving away my DIY honeydew to friends. I may have to start charging them the cost of the materials or just keep that recipe to myself ... yow.

I have my first batches using vanilla bourbon steeping right now, but as I was mixing, the VB concerned me - it's so dark! But it does smell good. Anyone know if this is a coil killer?

I've been using it in my Pecan Pie mix and haven't had any problems with it gunking coils. Just started using it a couple weeks ago so nothing long term yet. Refilled my STM a couple times and when I changed liquid the coil was still pretty clean.

It's pretty good right now but next batch will get a little butter and the sweetener brought down to 2%. If you tweak it Joe let me know if you have good results. My first batch had to much pecan and the vape was dry.

    Pecan (TFA) - 5%
    Pie Crust (TFA) - 4%
Pralines and Cream (TFA) - 4%
    Sweetener (TFA) - 3%
    Vanilla Bourbon (TFA) - 2%
    Brown Sugar (TFA) - 2%

It's hard for me to say, it seems that most of my juices gunk up quite a bit because I usually use quite a bit of sweetener. But more often than not, I run RDAs, so I don't sweat it too much. Just yank the wicks, dry burn, rewick and juice it up again! :D
