Kate - As always, I do value your opinion and that is why suppliers are stepping up and working together. Our announcement was only that, an announcement, to give everyone around here a sense that we are interested in working together and bettering our community and industry. This announcement was not intended to ruffle feathers or make anyone feel they need to choose a side.

I will of course, note everything that you have said and apply those concerns where applicable in our discussions.

Like TB says, we have to start somewhere. This is it. Unfortunately, we don't have more details at this time, but we will after our meeting!

You're a star Lacey, thanks for letting me have my say and not taking it personally.

All the very best with it.

Here's a shamrock for luck and 'cos it's Paddy's Day :D

no matter how many mothers meetings you guys have about ethical marketing and public awarness, the only thing that is going to allow the sale and use of these devices in the future is Government regulation.

The first and most important factor of these things being accepted as safe to use is internationally approved and recognised safety standards in the production of the units, sterile packaging of cartridges and above all safe and continualy safe production of liquid.

considering 99% of e-cig material is China based manufactured and looking at past events...we got not hope.

Maybe I'm sceptical but I think no matter what vested interests discuss amoungst themselves, the buck will stop at Governments door.
