This forum is not just for the eGo-type models with a 510 connection. There are quite a few eGo clones that have KR808/901 connections, and even one with an 801... just off the top of my head.

so how do we discriminate:

This forum is for the discussion of all "eGo-type" e-cigs, including the Riva, Hello 016, etc.

What consitutes an eGo type e-cig. Even the Leo has a separate sub-forum. I assumed, apparently incorrectly that since it didn't share the basics of a eGo, it had it's own sub-forum.

So you are saying only pv's that have 510 threads can be dicussed on here. Please you are being ridiculous.

What I'm saying is that other than the gogo having a sealed battery, it has nothing else in common with the eGo, Riva or Hello016 or their ecosystem which is based on the 510 connection. It would be like posting in a Darwin thread that the gogo is the one you're looking for. Maybe technically ok, but I'm sure you won't get a lot of warm responses.

And suggesting that I request a eGo forum, when the title to this forum is eGo specific models, is total fail.

I'm glad you love your gogo. I come into this subforum to get caught up on eGo news and products, which I don't view the gogo as part of.

Like I said request an ego only sub-forum if you like. Well I'm sorry but I'm glad someone posted in this forum about a Go-Go. I just don't understand why you are so bothered by it all. We come on ecf to learn about new products and different experiences with them. All I want to do is save someone like me alot of hassle and money by saying what I tried and like. I like the ego, I have lots of them but I like the Go-go better.

The go-go batts drop off pretty fast. they aren't regulated to the 4.4 they come off the charger at like the ego batts are regulated to 3.2.

The go-go batts dropped from 4.4 to 4.1 in the first 15 minutes of fairly steady vaping. That initial drop is normal for any unregulated set up. They hold up pretty well after that. After 2 hours of steady vaping (above average use for me anyway) the battery I was using was down to 3.85v. - And I would expect about that from just about any 3.7v set up with a mah rating over 1000.

I haven't really checked how much it drops off yet and what the cutoff voltage is. I will have to check. Thanks for the info.

So help me here. What does the gogo have in common with eGo specific models like the eGo, Riva or hello016? Other than the sealed battery, what else do they have in common? You do know this is the forum is for the discussion of all "eGo-type" e-cigs, including the Riva, Hello 016, etc.

I read this sub-forum to get news about new products in the eGo, Riva and Hello016 ecosystem. I'm not asking for eGo only, but I'd like to understand how the gogo is germane to eGo type models.

What ego equipment can you use on a Hello 016? A 510 atty without a cone or just use their atty with cone attached, You cant use ego tanks, mega attys or mega cartomizers. Same with the Riva 1300.

Right and the model specific treads are all about the connector KR808D-1, 510, 801, and they even have proprietary systems like the Blu, which I believe the gogo should belong in (being proprietary). Got it, it looks like an eGo type model, it's the same color as a eGo type model, it's cool. I'm sure you have the best of intentions, it comes across to me as viral marketing.

If you're hung up on the 510 connector thing... we have a forum for that.

I created this forum, so I think I know a thing or two about the purpose of it. It's for all of those non-standard ecigs that pretty much mimic the shape and larger battery capacity of the eGo... hence the "eGo-type". You're operating under a false assumption by thinking it is only for those that have a 510 threading.

Well I'm sorry you feel that way but really my friend I'm excited about finding a PV that I like and I was just sharing that news with others that might be looking for a pv they can vape all day without changing batteries or cartomizers and evidently that isn't what interests you. I really think you are just looking for someone to argue with but I don't like to argue.

My mistake, I assumed the literal meaning of the forum description and that was obviously incorrect. I will avoid it in the future.

Would it make you feel better if I added more models in the forum description, rather than assuming the "etc." being used as a catch-all would suffice?

I started on the eGo when they first came out. I've tried everything that fits the eGo and much of the time was happy. I just became frustrated with always needing to fuss with something to get the consistent vape I wanted. I was tired of leaking and always cleaning the juice off of it before I could vape and I wanted something easy that I didn't have to constantly be fooling with.

I also have 7 different mods and the battery wasn't as much of a problem for me as the cartos/attys. For me that's the weak link and what needs the most attention. I bought the GoGo, in fact 2, and it does exactly what I was looking for, performs every time the same and lasts all day. No fussing, no leaks, consistent flavor and vapor and reasonably priced. With an 801 soft, whistle tip it's half the size of the Mega/cylinder eGo attys with whistle tip. The diameter size is actually more comfortable in my hand than the smaller diameter eGo battery.

I did have to return one battery for replacement and some have had a minor problem with the charger. My charger works fine without the slight modification. I think this PV is best for people that don't want to vape as a hobby but want something easy and reliable. I went through the hobby stage and now I'm bored with it and just want a good vape every time I pick it up and with the least amount of effort. The GoGo is doing just that so far.
