First off - I know NOTHING more about the PV/Battery than you all do so this is just me guessing:
When i first saw the picture my thought was maybe it's a Twist (the knurling on the bottom leads me to believe it's there for a reason, either replaceable batteries or to adjust voltage). However the pictures of the Twist I've seen show markings to know what voltage you set it at, and AFAIK the Twist doesn't have a replaceable battery. Since there's only one button, it may not actually be a variable voltage device! I know the Scorpion was built FOR vv, but that doesn't mean this one "glamour" shot is showing a vv device. IF it is vv, with only one button how do you cycle through the different voltages? Like the Gripper where you cycle through the voltages and "off"? Personally I LOVE my Gripper but that's my one gripe with it, that it takes a lot of button presses to go from on to off (firing the carto/atty each time, which can be an issue with LR when you have to cycle through 5v and 6v!). Hopefully if what is pictured is a vv device, the bottom is the way voltage is adjusted!
Another note is that we're not even sure if the device pictured will even be for sale! It looks great with the Scorpion but so would a lot of devices.
If it is for sale, if everyone would chip in and buy me one (or 2) I promise to let you know all about it!
