My girlfriend carries my LCR. I carry an LCP as a BUG to my Smith .40.

My husband has an LCP too. I counted last night and we now have 13 guns in all. I'm sure he's not finished though. There's always another one that he wants. He hunts a lot so he feels like he needs one for every kind of game he hunts.

I'll give ya $500 for the Python! :D

My buddy has an FN PS90, you are right, those are pure fun to run. Problem is, when we take it we can hardly shoot it because everyone wants to look at it. He even takes extra ammo to sell to people who just hafta run a mag through it.

Heller of a collection you got going.

Yeah, 5.7mmx28 ammo is tricky to find. FN makes 5 versions; 3 available to civilians. I buy the SS198 (40 grain polymer tipped hollow point). You really have to search on ammo sites for deals on the 'net. It's very sparse right now and most are price gouging. FN prioritizes military contracts for weapons and ammo before the civi market. Which I completely understand. And Walmart doesn't carry it. Thee are a few 5.7 ammo manufactures, like Elite Ammunition and High Desert Dog. But you couldn't pay me to use EA. Their ammo has blown up more FiveseveNs and messed up many PS90/P90. I will use HDD, but they are expensive and take about a month to get your ammo.

One of my buddies that I shoot with has a big chunk of land, so we don't have to deal with a range. We're in the middle of building a 600yd range at his place right now. Most difficult part is making a sufficient backstop. It's all wooded, so we can only get a skid-steer (Bob Cat) out there.
Although, I have taken it to the range. Someone asked to shoot it and the FiveseeN. He went through a box of ammo (50 rounds, about $25). He tossed me a $50! Score! Even my 'anti-gun' Mother enjoyed shooting it and the AR-15! She's a pretty good shot, too.

I got a very good deal on that Python- $999. I usually see them between 13 and 15 hundred. It was obviously someone's safe queen. If you're familiar with revolvers, you know that they get that 'scratch ring' around the cylinder. This Python doesn't even have that. It' in absolutely perfect condition. The grips have a git of wear, but I have a rubber Hogue grip I'm going to put on it tomorrow and a genuine Python grip set on it's way to me.
No way I would ever sell it. I'm looking for another, but a 2" so I can carry it.

I also have a S&W M&P360 5 shot .357Mag that I really enjoy carrying. I feel so classy with it. Although I only conceal carry. No open carry in Texas. Even if there were, I would still CC.

Anyone else a card holder? What do y'all carry?

I also have an FFL 07, which is a gunsmith license. I mostly do sight installs, trigger jobs and sometimes build custom 1911s. But my main gig is glassblowing/flameworking.

Here's my wife shooting the KRISS Super-V .45 that a friend of mine owns. I have never had more fun shooting a gun in my life.

View attachment 96518

Kriss Super-Vs are incredible works of art. I have ~3/4 of the money saved for one. I would have one already, but I bought a Silencer Co. suppressor a month ago. Sent all my paper work and my $200 tax to BATFE. I've got about 4-6 months more wait. Ugh. Oh well. It'll be awsome when it all goes through and I can pick it up.
I'm also thinking of short barreling the PS-90. But I have other financial obligations. Being an adult is cool because all of the toys, but can suck because of priorities. lol

More gun porn....love it! Those Beretta's are sweet,Jshar! Really want one of the new Ninety-Two's. Also want an Ar-15 like Landlords; looking at Bravo Company's version. Also want...and...and...

Guns and vaping stuff...I'm going to be living on the street. :p

Check out palmetostatearmory.com. You can either get a stripped lower and lower parts kit, assemble it and add one of their pre made uppers for ~$600. And they are very good weapons! BCM is good too. But much more expensive. You can get a pre-built AR from PSA for ~$800-$850 if you get one with stock or Magpul furniture, like the handguard. And the Magpul handguard is super light!

Or, I could build one for you. I'd have to ship it to your FFL (gun shop) so you can do the paperwork. I can build one in ~1.5 hours.

I've looked into PSA and might go that route when I buy. This vaping scene has been eating my gun budget up.

I carry 24/7, I'm never more than 3 feet away from one of my defensive tools. I carry my M&P .40 and an LCP backer. Girly friend carries my LCR.

Back when they were still making Python's I was trying to decide between it and the S&W 629 Classic. I went with the classic, I wish I'd gone the other way now. I love those Python's, and the classic was sold several years ago. Local gun shop has about 20-25 Pythons and the cheapest is $1500, and it is well used.

Yep, that's about the average price of a Python in good to great condition. Do they have any snubbies?
I hear ya' about vaping eating in to the gun budget. I just have to be diligent and squirrel money away and try to forget about it. I'm the same way, never more than a few feet from one of my tools. In fact, holster up first thing in the morning and carry all day, even at home. It's really just a habit and mindset now. Today it's my Sig P938. Love this gun. It just disappears under even a light t-shirt.
M&Ps are really nice. That Shield I posted pics of is actually my Sister's.
I don't usually carry a backup, but I do carry an extra mag/speed loader/strip. Sometimes I'll put my M&P360 .357Mag in a pocket holster on my weak side (left) if I'm going to a sketchy part of town. Houston's pretty nasty in some places, unfortunately.

I think my next gun will be a Styer M9-a1

What type of holster(s) do you use, out of curiosity? I use inside the waistband. Mostly Crossbreed Super Tuck. But have a few Tennessee Holster Company holsters, also.
