That's a great collection of guns you got there, Shatner! You and my hubby would get along very well. I think we have at least that many guns and every time I turn around another one shows up.

Thank you, m'am. I'm addicted to guns. I have such a difficult time NOT buying new guns. Seems I have a new one every couple months. My 42 gun safe is filling up very quickly. lol

I have Supertucks for my M&p and Beretta, awesome, awesome holsters. Most comfortable I've ever used. When it gets cold enough that I'm wearing my winter coat I have a custom made pocket holster for the M&P and I just carry it in my front coat pocket. That's a whole lotta gun for a front coat pocket! That's my favorite way, my hand is always on it or near it then. I'm always in shorts during warm weather so I carry a "man purse" type rig that I made that has a velcro holster inside it to keep it secure but very easy to draw. People probably think it looks strange or gay but I don't care, I dress for security not social acceptance. :2cool:

I'm carrying my Sig P938 today. I love this little guy. It just disappears.
Yes, I carry at home, too. Even if I'm home all day. I holster up everyday when I get up and disarm at bedtime.

I'm so done w/ what others think of me. If a man purse makes things easier, so be it. Use one! I don't, but that's because I can fit every thing I carry in my pocket or on my belt (gun, extra mag).

Yeah, CB are great holsters. In the summer, I either carry my XDS .45, P938 9mm or S&W M&P360 .357Mag. First 2 in a Mini Tuck, .357Mag in a Super Tuck. I'm in Houston, it gets so hot and humid here; I just wear a t-shirt and cargo shorts.

In the winter when I dress heavier (a hoodie or jacket) I carry my Sig 1911 Scorpion Carry or XDM compact (3.8", compact grip) 9mm or XDM Service (4.5", fullsize grip). I'll carry the FiveseveN on occasion with SS197 (45G JHP). I carry the FNP very rarely. It's awkward to carry with the optic.

Oh, I forgot to post this. It's my XD compact 9mm after it's paint job. The guy that painted it wasn't happy with it at all. He said that if for any reason I'm not happy to send it back. At first I liked it, but then I noticed some imperfections. So it's going to go back for the Leupold brown color.

I posted a pic of it; my XD sub-compact is the same color, but the 'smith has better pics of it. Mine is very overexposed. Here's a better pic. It's like a flat bronze with mica flakes (car paint sparkle).

Did the smith do the stippling on it or did you? Looks pretty nice. Adds something to it. Been thinking of doing it to my M&P.

I did the stippling. The XDm with the digi camo slide is just rubber decals. The Service size XDm is stippled.

I sanded down the XDm 'tire tread' like texture and used a very fine tip on a soldering iron. I just went very slowly. A little tip: start with your peremiters and make straight lines. Use a ruler if you must. Also, a sharpie marker to mark the perimeter after sanding. The stippling will make the Sharpie go away.

Do you carry the gun? It can scratch your torso up pretty good if you're using a Crossbreed Super Tuck. Another GREAT holster is from N8squared Tactical. The "Professional" model. Don't bother with their other models; they're crap! http://n82tactical.com/n82store/?page_id=2995. I use one of these to carry my XDm Service with the stippling. It doesn't even get close to touching my skin. Super comfortable, adjustable cant, in waistband holster with a sweat shield. The neoprene sounds like it'd be hot, but it's not at all. I like it more than my crossbreed for my XDm Service AND Compact. For my XDs I use a Crossbreed Minituck. Tiny holster that just disappears. Same holster in the pic with my P938 in it, just for an XDs.

It was my first time stippling a gun. Took about 3 hours total, with a 20 minute break half way though. Just go slow and don't hold the soldering iron on long. You'll melt through the frame. Also, DO NOT sand it after you stipple it. I saw pics of someone who did. Looked like crap.

I found a the new Kel-Tek KSG bull-pup 12gauge shotgun at my LGS (local gun shop)! OMG, want! Dual mag tubes, holds 7 2 3/4" shells in each tube, plus one in the pipe. 15 total! It's a pump, so not much to go wrong. There's also a selector switch that lets you choose which mag tube to feed from: left, right or alternating. Load up 3oz slugs in one and 000 Buck in the other. Ultimate home defense shotgun.
And since it's a bull-pup, even though the barrel is legal (18"), it sits so far back it's like having a regular 870/500 with a 10" barrel! I'm getting one once supply meets demand. MSRP is $880. They had a sticker on it for $1,200!! Still cheaper than what I see on gunbroker.com, but wow, that's a huge markup.

Saw a review on the KSG. Dude was using 1 3\4" rounds in it. Held like 25 LOL

Damn! I'd just use 2 3/4" regular shells. Slugs in one tube, 00 or 000 Buck in the other. I have a Mossberg 930SPX auto loader that I really like. 18" barrel 8+1 capacity with 2 3/4" shells. I can fire all 8 in about 5 seconds. It's so fun!

Edit: This, but not my pic. I also have a Trijicon RMR and Surefire Scout light w/ red filter on mine.

Edit again. Just took a pic of mine.

This is a stock pic of my safe. Browning tactical 42 gun. I got the tactical model because it has more room for AR type weapons.

I don't really like the tubes on the outside, because it would be easier to pick up. But it's anchored to the foundation slab and has ~30k rounds of ammo in it. And we all know how much ammo weighs.

Sharp!

Yeah, Idk if I'd mess around with 1 3/4" stuff either. Seems to just miss the whole point of a powerful 12 gauge blast lol. Still, it's cool that someone finally broke the mold that defines shotguns as we know them. 14 2 3/4" shells LOL..pretty awesome.

I don't think anyone that's messed with guns is going to have much of a problem slapping a pistol grip on a saiga. Seems simple enough ( I hope lol). I'm pumped, because this is the first fun gun I've gotten in some time. The last few purchases were just for the safe..Well, I've shot one a few times, but the 1911 is almost 100 years old, and still in the railway express package. Sad to say, I don't think it will ever fire a round.
