Ooh, nice idea :) Better than the oring, effective, simple.

Picked up a bit of clear vinyl tube, 5/16id, 7/16od. Slight dab of silicone grease on sleeve and atty, to get them to go together easier.

Between that and the jb weld sealed 901/510 adapter, life is good :)

Hot dog! The chrome spacer in my earlier post destroyed my favorite 2.5 ohm I06 (2 months). It's also heavy and off center. But chrome looks pretty cool huh? I've got tanks and really loved RY4 Gold in 2 ohm boge carto but I'm now a confirmed I06 dripper. I would like to see a long, chrome, big hole drip tip for the I06 (hint, hint). I mean are these not the best all around atomizers? Do they not deserve an awesome drip tip that proclaims "I am the one; vape me".

I did this as well. 23 mm is perfect for my alpha max. I'm also honing out the other end of it as Switchers suggested so it seats better on the atty.

Really happy with these things. Easy to modify. Good job Ratty! I need a couple more now! :)

Yup yup... The 23mm Switcher cut down has turned out to be perfect for me. Nice warm vape, driptip fits, etc.
I honed out the atty end with some heavy duty (40 grit maybe) industrial abrasive paper 2 x 3 or so, rolled into a barely tapered cone, and mounted to a drill. I honed for a minute & checked the fit over & over until the tube comes about 1/2mm from the atty seat. Don't wanna seat it completely just in case I come across slight size variances in the future.

Cool MAl ~ we have set them up to fit 3/4's of the way down the barrel. It's about .004" (the thickness of a piece of paper) from the 3/4 mark to the seat of the barrel. We wanted to guard against the sleeve bottoming out and not fitting tight or too airy.

It looks like the 24mm won't be ready until next week :(

Good Job! It fits perfect on both ends. I was gonna cut it down a bit but now I see Siam Mods is makin' stainless I06 drip tips oooooh sweeeeet. I looked on their site (Siam Mods) yesterday but all tips were out of stock. Maybe cause their busy makin' I06 tips huh? Just gets better but the I06 atty doesn't leave much room for improvement in the performance area. I ordered a 5v GLV in nebula green so black tips for that but a SS will look so very cool on my provari.

Just a note for you Sam: SS 306 tips can get hot quick, specially if you are LR/HR vaper and add long hitter to that equation. I have some ( not this one, yet) and although they are gorgeous to top a brushed/polished mod with, they do not get a boat load of use.

Whoo Hoo !!!!! I just got a Drip Shield to work on the i06 Sleeve. I found in my assortment of o-rings a couple with a thinner diameter that works perfect. My problem is I don't know which supplier sent them to me. I am trying to source them now and provide them with every Sleeve, but so far I haven't been able to find them. McMaster didn't have them. I think I'm looking for 3/8 x 1/2 x 3/64, if anybody has any ideas, please let me know.

I just read in another thread about that happening on LR's

That would be an unusual size. An AS568A-012 is 3/8 x 1/2 x 1/16 which is the closest I could find in the standard size reference chart. Does the extra 1/64 kill it?

Yeah Hoosier it does. The 1/16 is just a hair too tight. And I have one that fits, I think it's 1/32 and that would work too.
