yep the vv3 has 4 displays if you hold down the +/- buttons. Ohms, Remaining charge, Puff Count and current mode/value

The MVP 2 only has ohms and remaining charge.

Huh?
My mvp2 shows puff counter, ohms, battery life, current mode.

i may have misunderstood the statement.

If I hold down my two buttons and keep them held, my MVP only shows ohms and life remaining.

To view the puff and setting, I have to hold either P or U not both

Both my energy series and regular MVP 2 are like that.

On my vv3, if I hold down + and -, then it cycles through ohms, battery life, puff, mode/setting.(i.e P7.0)

On your MVP did you get one with the flush bottom switch? They may have done a software revision. My manual states I should have 4 displays holding down P and U simultaneously but neither of them show all 4 pieces of information.

Both of my units have flush bottom switches.

Well, I haven't been on here in a long time, but thought I would add I just ordered the iTaste VV VW 3.0 16S kit. What a name! As a tribute to the first ~5 pages of this thread, "I am a dude and I ordered mine in Chamelion" :)

Been kickin it with my KGO's and mini ego for quite a while now and decided it was time for an upgrade so my buddies at MFS had the whole kit for $39.99. With 5 innokin 1.6 ml clearo's! What a smokin hot deal. Picked up 60ml of their awesome 555 juice to go with it. I can't wait. I will let everyone know what I think about this fancy variable wattage stuff ;-)

Thanks Capt & Ed. I did the 3 clicks and just a quick red flash. I'm charging now and it's up to 3.9 v on the charge (4.0 when plugged in). I'm assuming the green light will go out when it's fully charged. I was just under the impression that these things were supposed to ship with a solid charge...something about the battery chemistry and not supposed to rest in a depleted state for any long period. Maybe I'm confused.

Anyhow, I got my first vapemail. Yay me.:D

Please Help! Just bought an Itaste 3.0 10s. I love this but only one complaint, I have to mess around with the 10 s clearomizers to get them to stay attached. and when they do stay attached they fall off easily. Almost like the threads dont catch??? Mine is the one with 1 rivet.. will this just eventually get worse until it doesnt work anymore?? or is there a fix??? Thanks..

Yup, me too. I just received 3 after loving my first one. The only tank that will thread down far enough to work is the Protank 2 mini. After a lot of recent battery issues with some vendors and their lousy cuss-some-more service I am thinking I will try 510 to ego adapters and see if that solves it. 4 out of the last 9 batteries I have bought were either doa, or faulty in some way. Disappointment seems to be a huge part of life as a vaper.

I ordered my Innokin iTaste VV 3.0 back in mid October of last year as my first venture into something more complicated than an eGo type VV type battery. I use it frequently, but not exclusively and usually with a mini-protank.

Personally I think it works great! I would definitely recommend this for someone stepping up from the eGo style batteries.

I'm still playing around with the VV and VW features, but hey I'm still a newbe. Haven't had an analog since August of 2013 but I do enjoy vaping! I'm going to try re-coiling a protank coil next week, so wish me luck.

I have successfully used my Kanger EVODs, clone EVODs, iClear 16s, Kanger Mini Protank 2 v2s, and original Kanger Protank on my VV 3's. I do have trouble with my EVOD's sometimes getting the pin on the bottom of the coil to touch the pin on the VV3. Usually, cranking the coil down tighter inside the base or tightening the base to the tank will fix the problem. I only have one EVOD clone that just won't work for some reason so it has to live on an ego Twist.

I do have to tighten all my heads down a little more than I do on my ego's, though. I believe someone else has noted that the threads for ego toppers are just a smidge too long for the battery to make proper contact with the pin inside the topper/atomizer.

I love my VV 3's!

To Nuvpr: Did you buy the iTaste VV 3 or the EP (The pen type with only a 510 connector, no VV or VW)? I read somewhere that they were having all kinds of trouble with the threading on the EP model and the first batch of iClear 10s clearos. My iClear 16's are my least favorite clearos so I wasn't at all interested in the 10s model and bought my VV 3's without clearos.

I'm curious as to where you are getting your DOA batteries from.

Me and my bad hands, I just put a rubber hanky do-hiccy on top (thingys are so small) and screw the cap open and closed, open and closed, maybe 10-15 times, then let it sit for a minute or so, and fire it up- no dripping, no mess, and a great way to keep prefilled tanks good to go.

I spent the first 4 months of my "vaping journey" trying different clearomizers.

A month ago I tried my first cartotank (from IBTanked) and will never go back!!!

I tried 3 KGO vv megas from an unnamed supplier in Indiana. 1 was doa and I returned it. They sent a replacement which was also doa. I returned it and wrote an honest review about the quality issue. The review was pulled overnight, which says a lot about a vendor in my opinion. Since then another of the 3 has died, just past the 30 day warranty. The 3rd was given away as a gift and may have failed by now for all I know. That's one vendor who has gotten the last of my business.
The fourth was an ego twist from a better vendor, and I am waiting on the replacement to be back in stock.

They are all from China. Just wish the U.S. vendors could manage a little testing before they ship stuff out.

We share an anniversary month!!! :) yay us!!! Cobgrats!!! Ive tried recoiling-a lil success and hope to get better-good enough to actually use my coils... They turn out great but taste add and I cannot figure it out for the life of me. Funny thing is as soon as I got my protanks (emphasis on the s-as in many) I switched to carto tanks almost exclusively. Now learning to recoiling less of a have to and more just for fun... Anyhow-good luck & have fun!

Oh, I learned something cool today. The mini pro tank 2 ego base can be used on the original pro tank & pro tank 2 in stead of the 510 connection they come with. Feel way more stable on my itaste vv v3 :) looks cool too

Im sorry your having bad luck. In case you dont see my post a few min ago- pro tank mini 2 base works perfect on both the original pro tank & the pro tank 2 (ive done it with orig pt but read about others doing it with the pt2

I feel like a dope. I keep reading about it but do not understand. So baffled that im ordering some thingies to see for myself. However I still cannot picture what to do exactly. Is there a picture/video tutorial? Something to physically explain this technique?! Pretty please?

@lso, I apologize for so many posts, im not sure how to combine quotes to make one long reply.
Yup - this is it. And, it really works too.

Honestly it's actually very simple. A 'thingy' is simply a small plastic bottle with a screw-on cap that makes it air-tight. You put a new carto in a tank, fill the tank mostly fully and finish closing it up. Then put the carto/tank combo in the thingy and screw the cap on tight, wait a sec or 3, un-screw the cap, screw it back on, rinse and repeat...

The pressure change of screwing the capon and off makes the carto suck in fluid - watch the holes and see the bubbles - you will decide how much 'fiddling with your thingy' is enough. Some like the top flooded and wet, I simply screw open and closed 10-15 times, let it sit a minute and call it done. Never burnt, flooded, or any of that.

Does the above help?
