The Kick by Evolv--Coming to Super-T!

Well, I waited as long as I could so others could have a chance...in fact I was going to pass this round. But this morning I was changing my battery in my P+ 18650 and in my bleary-eyed state put the battery in upside down, dropped in the Kick and fired away. The wiggliness of the battery clued me in.
The Kick still works, but it smells funny. Thought I'd better get a backup.
Amazed they were still available!

[Edit: Yeah, I fried it. Weak vape, adjuster adjusts not. Bummer. Don't load yer batteries upside down.]

I don't think that particular failsafe was ever claimed.

Directly quoted from the Evolv website Kick Instructions page: The Kick – Instructions « Evolv

INSTALLING KICK MODULE:The Kick MUST be installed correctly. The bottom of the Kick must sit directly on the positive terminal of the battery (button end for button-top batteries). The top of the Kick (the end with the blue adjustment box) must be oriented towards the head of the device (never towards a device spring).

Yes, it is good news, Evolv has ramped up production and is now better able to supply its dealers!

Not sure. I've tried it all. Sandpapered the inside of my GG tube, tried every battery I own.

Well, I'm in sort of the same boat. Was vaping my bolt. Put the kick in, nothing. Swapped for a fresh battery, still nothing. Took the kick out, bolt doesn't work at all now. Really bizarre.

My mod works great without. Only when I put in the kick that nothing happens. It's cool I'm sure the next one will work.
