If people will ..... about that too? I surely hope not because everyone can always use a P+ :p

When they run out of the Kick modules and have only the P+ kits available, I'm sure someone will cry. There will always be people on the lookout for something to complain about. :)

I find it interesting, for four months people have been asking for a P+ Kick kit. I wonder if, well......

But that is why David is going to give it a few rounds till he sets up a kit. He knows the first few rounds will be sold out immediately.

That said, I understand why the kit is a good option for people. They might not already have the needed batts and/or compatible attys yet, so this would be convenient for them. I think that an upgrade to a kit as an option when buying the kick would have been well met and there would be no discussion. I like that idea. That way if you only need a kick just get the kick, if you need batts and/or attys as well upgrade to the kit, Wouldn't be hard to implement.

In response to: adell11, cigarbabe, and to a lesser extent, riverboat

My post was actually in response to other posts made previously complaining about the Nhaler’s practice of allocating a portion of their stock to be sold a la carte, and some to be included in bundles. Perhaps I should have replied with a quote, to be more clear.

As to me not mentioning that the kick was indeed offered by itself, I felt it was an established fact being that the distinction had been made on the page previous to where my post ended up. When I said “I would have even bought the kit”….the “even” was meant to imply the existence of an al a carte option that hypothetically wasn't available any longer as I sat at my computer ready to make my order on launch day (man....I should have called in sick and ordered a kick).

If you reread the post, you’ll find I am actually neutral to this practice. It isn’t uncommon in this and many many other markets in the great system of capitalism (and I am indeed a proud capitalist). It is an accepted business practice and a choice that many vendors face as a matter of course. Please review the post and see that I, in fact, stated that if I were in their shoes, I may have made the same choice. I even said that I would have purchased the referenced kit had I been able to, but I would have been less happy with the service I received than if I had been given the option of buying only the item I was interested in purchasing. Remember, my dollar is my vote and if I was somehow so adamantly opposed to the practice, I never would have considered throwing money their way. I was not interested in the rest of the contents of the kit, however I was not intending my comments as any sort of insult whatsoever, merely my opinion regarding their choice. For all any of us knows, if a customer had purchased a kit, felt buyer’s remorse and wrote an email, Drew may have considered selling the item a la carte to that customer even though the option wasn’t available when the customer made the initial order! In other words, I am and was not slamming anyone.

In retrospect, I shouldn’t have posted it at all. This is SuperT’s subforum, and mentioning another vendor and BY NAME was rude in the extreme to both parties. I apologize to any adamant Nhaler supporters who may be misunderstood my post. I apologize to Drew from Nhalr if he happens/happened to come across the post and found it insulting. I apologize to those who found this an off topic post in a SuperT’s subforum thread. I apologize to the folks at SuperT (sorry I don’t know your names yet, I’m new to this subforum) for posting about another vendor in your subforum. It’s your house, and news and discussions regarding other vendors do not belong here. In my defense, it was late, I had had a terrible day at work, and I was a little disappointed to have missed my opportunity at buying a product that I have been following since before it even had a name. You’ve all been there, we all know how easy it is to make poor judgment calls under similar circumstances. Can we let this one slide?

P.S.- In case anyone thought otherwise, I am a man, not a woman, LOL.

David, you talked earlier about an o-ring for the P+500. Can you let us know what to do.
Thanks

If I remember correctly, I think that David said to use 0.070 thick o-ring. I do have a few spares laying around so I'm good, but I'm guessing that he'll be open to including some for those that need them.

Orings will be included with your Kick for fitment to the P+18500 top cap and one additional thin oring for the bottom of your battery tube will also be included for use in the PrecisePlus 18500.

See video below for details on placing the O-rings:

Quick battery question, I have seen lots of reports saying AW IMR are the only recommended Battery for the "Kick" I guess this is because they are protected !!
Are we saying non protected Battery,s are a big no no !!!

No IMR batterys are safer chemestry so no protection. IMR batteries are the only ones recommended because of the amp drain required. This is true of most boosted battery mods ie Provari.
