I dont know if it is cause I have the green battery which has the green light or all of them are the same. But you know how you sometimes have to put your hand in front of the ecig to see if the led is lit? The other ecigs I have show a little bit of light when doing this, but the V4L my gosh the green light glows all over your hand, Does all the batteries do this? AMAZING.......;)

Well, the white no-logo batt I have has an orange LED (I don't like it - reminds me too much of an analog.) The short manual I have has a blue LED, which is cool.
I really want a purple LED though... :(
On a side note, I would actually love to see the batts redesigned - there is no need for it to replicate an analog. What would really be cool is to get rid of the cigarette tip light, and go to a LED ring at the end, or have the V4L logo light up at the end - that way I could see that the batt is working, instead of holding my hand in front of the LED to check it...

I want 2 diff batts.
1: black with a crimson LED on the end
2: purple with a purple led that is not on the end, yeah mebbe a light up logo or something, but on the side somewhere

also, think of the possible light types - with the way they use fiber optic type lighting (no matter where the led actually is you can 'reroute' the light to wherever) Can you imagine racing stripe lights? The possibilities are actually endless...

Well, you would obviously want an option that doesn't impact battery life too detrimentally, but yes, there are SO many possibilities! All I know is that the LED at the end does more good for others looking at it than me using it - I want something I can see and be useful as I'm vaping. The way the LED is now, I can barely see it, and simply goes to reinforce the whole analog feeling, which many of us either don't need, or don't want anymore. Vaping is in a whole class different than smoking, in my opinion, and I have no intention going back to smoking... ;)

I saw one of these with another vendor (they claimed it was developed for military personnel overseas), and I would definitely like that option for stealth vaping and/or improved battery life, but I still like the LED on the VK, I would just like the option of different colors (even if they only differed in production runs, it still would be nice to have a different LED color every few months..) and I still think the placement and/or design of the LED could be greatly improved, and make the VK stand out from the other e-cig. batts...

I just received my first green LED yesterday (btw more great service and amazing stuff from Steve:) - he always makes me smile!) and it does seem much, much brighter - not a bad thing to me in the least!

I bought the portable charger and love it. After seeing that, I'm convinced Steve can do anything - so how 'bout it Steve? Light up V4L logos would be awesome!

Not to mention that it would be great advertising! ;)

Here's another reason why I want an LED on any batt - I have had both my auto and my manual get stuck in the 'on' position for 2 to 5 seconds after I take finish taking a drag or releasing the button. This has only happened with my auto once, and my manual twice, so I am not sure if it was just a glitch, or if it's a factory defect, but I would have never known if I didn't see the LED glowing - it is a nice feature.

I am thinking about NO LED which would improve battery life, as well as strength.

Whatcha think bout that:thumb:

Steve:cool:

Hi Steve
If you do go with that kind of model will you still carry the ones that have the led? personally I really love the leds, purples, greens, pinks, yellows, reds, orange, white I seen somewhere on the ecig forum where they were bling type of cigarettes. almost like a jewel type on the end of the ecig. I love bling bling, I personally like your batteries too with the logo, You cant hardly see the number 4 between the V and the L if it was switched around it could remind you of louis vuitton ( love it...) I know some men would not like this and maybe some women either but I am a girly girl LOL

I agree with you also a crimson LED and purple battery with a purple LED would be nice too. You have some great ideas there.:)

I think no led would be cool every once in awhile but it would be even cooler if you could get the led off the end and put it on the side of the battery with a little cut out of the V4L that would light up when you take a hit!:D Or maybe a series of three little leds on the side of the battery that show how much battery life is left when you take a hit(fully charged all of them would light up,half way...just two light up and when the battery is getting low just have one light up!)
