I couldn't get a replacement base from eleafus! The vendor has refused to answer my messages to him,so last night I ordered a 7 x .5 mm die to recut the threads on the base!:glare: I again asked the rep from eleaf why they don't honor any products purchased for a online vendor or e/bay? The phone went silent! I think if they are going to wholesale to vendors, they should still stand behind the warrantee of their products! That's like GM saying if you buy a vehicle directly for us we will honor the warrantee, but if you buy it from a dealer, your on your own? Just doesn't make sense? I had a problem with my MVP one time. I called invokin and the youn lady asked for the serial number on it. After I gave it to her,she said we will see what we can do! A week later I got a package in the mail, and inside was a new MVP!:) It had a note inside the case saying, hope you have "more enjoyment with this one"! Can't say much for their English, but the sure do stand behind their products!

That sucks. I would contact e-bay, they will set it straight. Also, 98.7% positive feedback might sound like it's a good track record, but it's not. And if you look at that vendor's feedback details, you will see many negatives complaining about the exact thing that happened to you. I buy from e-bay all the time, but I usually don't buy from anyone with less than 99.7%....sure that's still no guarantee, but I've never had a problem that wasn't immediately fixed by the e-bay seller.

This essentially makes the Lemo disposable. I'm sure we can source o-rings for it, but that's about it.

In the long run, I'd rather purchase something that I can source parts for if necessary (especially with the glass tank) as i think it will be cheaper overall. Don't get me wrong, I still like my Lemo, but when I got it, I really thought eLeaf would start to come out with spare parts. That's not proven to be the case.

I dropped my Lemo Drop over the weekend, and the glass broke, I just ordered three replacement glass tanks yesterday, and another Drop. It wasn't hard to find the replacement glass at all, if it was, I wouldn't have ordered another.

I'm sure I will like my lemo, once I get it working! I also purchased a istick 50 W. I really like it,but I'm dreading the day it quits!:( now that I know eleafus support is almost non existent!

Parts are out there. Just gotta search for them. I also read somewhere that someone found a SS tank for it, rather than glass. Haven't looked for it because I like the glass look, but just saying. After all...how many things can go wrong with it that would require parts? Outside of O-rings, tanks, insulators, and seals that are already available, what else is needed?

Spare parts for a $30 tank? just buy another one. (last carton of smokes I bought was $40, it lasted a week, and there were no spare parts available) :)

And, Paypal will side with the buyer almost every time: Get your money back, neg rep him, then buy one from somewhere else.

Any link to that 30.00 price site?

Hey guys. Anyone has ever experienced their wick getting black even on TC 430F? Granted I've used this wick for about three days but it is now black. Is it the juice I'm using? It's a cherry 50/50 that's on the sweet side.

AND, if you get your money back from Paypal, you will essentially have free spare parts compliments of your ...... ebay seller!
Well,I gotta eat a little crow, the seller apologized for not getting back with me,since he was outta town! he sent me his company's address, and said to return it for a replacement,so I'm out the return postage, but I guess that's to be expected. I'll keep you guy's posted on how it goes! Off to the post office!

I find that compressed coils gunk up faster than space coils. I've gotten to the point where all of my builds are spaced coils in some form. For me they stay so much cleaner and longer than compressed. Also, juice can play a big role. It seems darker juices will gunk up a coil faster than the lighter juices.

Where have you found replacement flat white, glass o-rings?
I've sent e-mails to e-leaf several times, with no response.
    Thanks

What you're seeing isn't blackening / burning of the wick itself. It's the caramelization of the juice on the coil / wick. Even with TP, you will still need to swap out wicks -- how often depends a lot on the juice you're vaping.

For some of my juices, I have to swap out wicks about every 5-10 ml. For other juice, it's closer to 20 ml. I've heard some say that unflavored liquid can go over 50 ml on a single wick.

Take it from me, Crow is best when served Cajun style (I'm a Crow connoisseur)

The juice does have a lot to do with it. I change my wick about once per day (2 days tops). That's about 6-8ml for me. I like that first-day freshness, and it's so easy and cheap I figured why not?

Mine will do that if I have it wicked too tight,or run a juice that has a lot of sweetner in it. I use compressed coils, but they have to be cleaned more often! Also if you run your juice too cool (not enough watts/volts),they tend to gunk up quicker.

    Totally agree!

I should also mention that running too hot will gunk up the coils faster too as the coil cools slower and juice continues to caramalize after you stop firing.
