Sorry about the crappy iphone pics...hopefully you will get the idea.

Ignore my coil, I'm experimenting with my builds to find what works on my ipv for flavor vs. wattage...and all I have on hand right now for these pics is 30 g 7/64 id, 2.7 ohm single coil. I use Rayon, Cotton is basically the same. MAYBE use a bit less. You want to feel some resistance when you thread the wick into the coil. The coil should move, maybe you have to use your thumbnail to hold the coil while you thread the wick, but not enough to deform the coil. I haven't used Cotton in a long time so I'm working from memory (sorry).

First pic, 1.75 inches of wick (Rayon). You got 2 - 2.5 inches, no problem. Just don't go much less than 1.75...
IMG_2377.jpg

Second pic, split your wick 1/3-2/3. The smaller piece will be your wick.
IMG_2378.jpg

Third pic, compress your wick and form a 'toothpick' on one end. I lick my palm and roll the Rayon in my palm with my other hand's fingers to compress it into a tube. Yes it's Neanderthal, but it works for me...
IMG_2379.jpg

Fourth pic, thread your coil. Don't cut the ends off yet.
IMG_2382.jpg

Fifth pic, pull the ends of the wick upright. Place the chimney around the wick and screw it in place.

As I can only post 5 images per post, see my next post...

Sixth pic, trim your wick so it's above the top of the chimney.
IMG_2385.jpg

Seventh pic, fluff your wick.
IMG_2387.jpg

Eight pic, use a tool (I used tweezers) to push your wick down into/onto your deck and spread it out. You want your wick to absorb the juice.
IMG_2388.jpg

Ninth pic, crappy but hopefully you can see that the deck is pretty much covered with wick. And a lot of it! Prime your wick with some juice.
IMG_2393.jpg

Tenth pic, top and bottom seals in place. Screwed together, filled and ready to go...Yum!

I hope this helps. Bottom line is you need a LOT more wick on a Lemo than a Kayfun. Doesn't matter if you are using a micro or macro coil.

Standard legal disclaimer, this is what's worked for me, YMMV. Practice makes perfect...blah blah blah. And taste is subjective...:D

Good luck, let us know how it goes!

How does the Lemo handle higher VG? I like to vape tanks around 17-20 watts and i've been really considering this tank. I chain vape and a lot of my favorite liquids are higher on the VG so i'm a little concerned about dry hits and burning.

I am a chain vapor as well, max VG great flavor no dry hits like KF if you use too much cotton. Better air flow that a KF.

Wondering if this atomizer would be a good fit for me. I've been vaping 2 mos, roughly. I have an istick VV/VW. Mostly used Kanger Evods and Protanks. I sucessfully rebuilt three Kanger coils last night. I told myself I would not buy a Lemo unless I could prove that I could rebuild the Kanger Protank with at least functioning coils. My resistance on them was close, but not exactly what I intended.

I'm under the impression if I could build on a Protank with all its nuances, I shouldn't have any problem on this build deck. Thoughts?

Rebuildables are simple. Wrapping a micro coil is easy, the wicking just takes a bit of practice to get the right amount.

I think the lemo is a good starter rebuildable, has a large deck to work on and good deck screws, so it is easy to work on.

I am a sucker for new stuff so I bit on the Lemo. I liked the 5ml tank and the bigger diameter as its sized exact for my Clopper dna 30 box. Here is my build on it and a little narrative of my break down:

I warm rinsed all the pieces and looked at them under magnification. No burs, juice channel slots well milled, no burs on the fill screw and fill hole. The overall milling is very good, very clean, I was pleased.

26awg, 1.5mmID, 11/10, 1.6ohm coil. I filled with Grants Vanilla Custard max VG so wanted a higher ohm build where I can torque wattage if I felt like it and really brings out the Custard flavor. I think Grant recommends 1.8ohm builds to vape his custard. The device was a little finicky to build. I had it perfect through the side mount holes and sadly snapped off my last lead so had to re - wrap my coil. I ended up with one lead under the screw head and one through the side mount hole for this build as the 2nd lead would not trap under the small screw head. I have 3 types of knurled screws but all too fat and too long as well so just left well enough alone. I fired and adjusted and checked the ohms and it was firing well from inside out of course...lol.

I wicked it with Rayon which is all I use these days. I used a nice fatty piece with a tighter coil fit with nice bushy shoulders.

I did the chimney tuck with my wicks and softly adjusted them into place from the top and primed my wick and coil.

Well the vape is really good. I unscrewed the ACR as high as it would go for max air flow. 30 or so hits in it is stabilized at 1.6ohms. I'm getting good flavor and vapor. I am getting zero leaks which is nice. I am going to put Grants in my Fogger to compare but all in all pretty happy with this device and build.

    Hello folks

Im loving both of my Lemos but im currently having an issue with a tight draw on both of them. When just filling and the air controller open all the way its very loose but within a few vapes, the draw tightens up considerably and gets very tight. If I turn it upside down and blow through, i do get some eliquid blow out and the draw is nice and open again. This will last for another 4 or 5 vapes till it tightens again. Since this is probably juice in the airhole, am I maybe not using enough wicking or possibly too much? Im currently coiling and wicking as PBesaurdo does in his review video and have never had a dry hit or gurgling and the flavor has been great, just trying to get more consistency from the airflow.

    Currently using
    Sigelei 50w at 12 watts
1.6 ohm 28 guage 10 wraps with organic cotton

    Thanks

Yeah adding more wick helped with the leaking, I have no idea why the Cana isn't firing though. It will fire on all of my other mods but reads CHECK ATOMIZER on the Cana. My iStick has a deeper 510 connection well and it's working on that so I think the pin is far enough to reach the Cana...but adjusting the 510 has been quite difficult.
