Does anyone have a picture handy of the Lemo on a 22mm mod? I'm thinking about one of these for a mech mod I have, but the .5mm overhang on each side might bother me. I know I'm crazy

Give me a just a sec and I'll post one up for you.

edit: here you go. I think it looks goofy.

Thank you for your pics, I'm gonna get one and do a little sanding on the knurling if possible. Love my Russian but even with the center pin drilled I want a little more air

Edit: I'm getting a SMPL mod in a few days

Where are you getting a SMPL? They have been out of stock for some time at The Vapor Lair which I believe is the only authorized reseller. I bought a copper SMPL clone and really want the SS authentic now. The clone is pretty awesome for $20 though. Hits a lot harder than the Workhorse in my pics.

The Billow is going to blow the Lemo out of the water in every facet. The Lemo is nice don't get me wrong, but here is why the Billow is better.

Sexier design. Same 5ml juice capacity. Dual coil setup, tried and true Orchid style deck. Dual 2.5mm adjustable airflow for amazing lung hits, or mouth to lung is desired. Better quality gaskets, much like the nautilus. Raised air ports on the deck to ensure no flooding, as well as a cyclops design air slots for better flow around the coils. 22mm, so it will look much better on many mechs and other devices. Not to mention the Billow preorder is running for $29.99, which is a steal for this device. Also, much easier to fill, no need to remove the base like the Lemo which lets face it, is just poor design.

So all in all, the Billow will be the best rta for the times in every possible way. From build design, to functionality, and coming from EHPro and Eciggity, you know damn well the quality is going to be great. You may wanna preorder one now, as I can guarantee this will be the best of the best and will be tough to keep in stock after it catches on to the masses. Mark my words.

Preorder your'snow at Eciggity!

So you have a Billow? And a Lemo?

I appreciate the enthusiasm, but your post has me perplexed. Did I miss the post where someone suggested that the Lemo was a better atomizer then one that no one even has yet? Don't get me wrong, I myself, am interested in the Billow. Looks sweet, like what the Orchid should have been from the get go, but I'm not sure a direct comparison between the two is reasonable. (especially seeing as no one has one of the atomizers being compared)

FWIW, if you don't have the time it takes to unscrew the bottom cap of the Lemo to fill it.....Vaping isn't for you.

This. :toast:

Though the billow does look decent, it has a few issues. The chimney still isn't two-piece, which is a huge problem I have with the Orchid. It's a lot harder to get your wicking right when the chimney is a single piece. Also, those 'cyclops' air holes are just for show... they lead to standard round air channels. I have a hard time believing this improves air flow around the coils, since I can improve airflow around the coils by raising them off the deck an extra mm. I have 2 Orchid v4s, 1 of which I've modified with enlarged juice channels, and frankly that's the only improvement I can see on the Billow that comes stock, except maybe save for the slanted chimney?

Speaking of airflow, has anyone tried either drilling out the Lemo's airholes to 2.5mm, or adding a couple more? It strikes me that there's enough material above the threads to drill out the existing holes, and I have noticed that there is a difference in airflow if you draw on the Lemo while unscrewing it from the 510 base. I get a big increase in air volume.

Anyway, back ON topic, I'm loving my Lemo. Here it is on an EHPro Caravela, 0.7 ohm build with Efest 3500 18650. A true all day mechanical vape!

I've got a Black one coming that I plan to put on my Black EHpro Caravela - can't wait!

I actually thought the air flow was about the same with the base off, but I do believe I read earlier in this thread that someone drilled theirs out.

Nice looking setup. I've been thinking about getting a black Caravela myself, just for a Lemo.

The Lemo also requires a screwdriver to fill. It also requires the extra step of removing the base.

The base is actually a nice feature. It allows tool-less filling. You do not need a screwdriver. Do you even have a lemo? not to mention you don't even have a billow.

The airflow adjuster at the bottom of the billow also makes it easy for it to back out and catch on your mod, making it stuck in some cases and if you don't use the airflow grub screws juice condensation will flow out the bottom and corroded the copper 510 connection. Which is why I haven't per-ordered one.

The lemo is slowly replacing my kayfuns. I have been using kayfuns for about a year and tried a dozen other atties but nothing replaced my kayfuns. I was beginning to think nothing would ever replace my kayfuns.

If your on the fence a lemo will pleasantly surprise you it is an upgrade for kayfun users. I do find I have to run the lemo a couple watts higher than the kayfun but she handles it quite well

I drilled one of my Lemos out so much I can breath through it! Internally I drilled the main vertical hole in the center post to .128", and the horizontal holes to .082".Externally on the base I drilled the holes out to .094". At first I just drilled the external holes, but it whistled pretty badly like that, so that's why I started adjusting the internal hole sizes. I could have just de-burred some of the sharp edges in the center post to stop the annoying whistle, but the OCD in me demanded that I go bigger! I've chain-vaped that tank at 70ish watts, and it had no problem keeping up. (I cant say that for my lungs though)

On my other two Lemos I just increased the external air holes and smoothed out the center post holes, and they both perform perfectly for my style of vaping.

oh yeah, I completely removed the AFC ring on all three of these tanks.

anyone know where I can get a Lemo DROP RTA right now other then eleafs site?

I saw vapercompany are selling pre-orders but wont be available for another 2 weeks and im impatient lol. I ordered a regular black version just last night from vapordna but since they are closed weekends, i have til monday to cancel if i want. Coming from a regular kayfun nano setup, and considering the regular 5ml lemo is taller then the regular kayfun setup... my OCD might prevent me from really enjoying the regular.

All of the Lemo die hards are coming out to bite LMAO!

Like I said, I have nothing against the Lemo. It is a great device. But the Billow will be better. Better design, better looking, will sit flush on a 22mm mod, dual coil, better airflow plus each air hole can be adjusted separately.

Look at the pictures man, i don't need the device in my hand to know it is gonna be a grand slam. It is obvious. And I don't mind bottom filling, so I guess vaping IS for me lmao.

You remind me of a person that hates Windows 8 because you are afraid of change and will rock your Windows 7 until they stop supporting it! I am not trying to start a damn battle about which is better. I am simply stating opinions and facts, and nothing I said was offensive.

And my opinion is the Billow will be a huge step in what we have all been waiting for. Dual coil, raised slots on the deck, 22mm, glass, 5ml capacity, dual 2.5 cyclops slots plus individual airflow adjustability to each coil making it ample for a single coil build.

And here is my smart ace remark back to you. If you cant wick an rta without needing a 2 piece chimney, than vaping isn't for you! Ha, sarcasm, but I had to do it.

Not interested in the debate, but did you miss the sign on the way in........ "The Lemo RTA: A Build With Pics". Doesn't the Billow have a thread? Pretty sure if you stroll into a dripping thread talking about how good your tank is, you might get a bit of resistance.
