The small black o-ring goes on the upper chimney section, just below the threads that screw on to the top cap.
I got a pair of these in the vapemail today. Seems to be pretty good so far.
I had a .... of a time getting 28AWG Ni200 to snug under the post screws. I had to wrap them around and trap the leads on opposite posts in order to create enough tension around the screw to torque it down and hold properly. No chance of doing the "twisty tug" to snap the ends, had to cut them otherwise they would eventually come out. Tried the post holes and the softness of the Ni200 lead to snapping instantly.
Anyway ... Using a DNA40 device, 10 wrap 28AWG Ni200 spaced coils. Set at 450F and 18-19Watts, hitting well, huge clouds, tons of vapor, flavor seems good (new juices/never used before so hard to compare). So far so good...
Any builds with the lemo on a DNA40? And does anyone have pics of where the black o-rings should exactly go?
Can u use the lemo on an 18650 mod?
Mine was a similar experience. The screw heads were just too small to capture the 28ga nickel. I actually ended up going with 32ga just to be able to get it tight. I might try finding screws with bigger heads because it was a real pita. Also had an issue with the extremely thin metal. I dropped the base part no more than three inches on to my desk and it dented the base to the point the glass would no longer fit in. Took me a half hour to get it to fit again but kind of disappointed overall. The only thing better the Lemo has over the Kayfun in my opinion, is the airflow is much much greater. I however like a tighter draw so it's not really worth it for me. I won't be buying another one. It does work well once it's setup but I like the kafun clone by ehpro better at this point.
Do you mean a mechanical? Yes.
It dented from a 3" drop ? Mine has dived off tables and hit hardwood floors with a Sigelei 100W attached to it. No marks and the glass hasn't broken either!
Yes, 3" And the base was separate (I was about to do a build) so the rest of the tank wasn't together which may have helped, or broke the glass lol. The metal is ridiculously thin at the top of the bottom base where the glass fits in. I agree though, it probably wouldn't have been damaged if it was all together. Maybe I just got unlucky and it landed perfectly on that lip and bent it in.

So I just got my black lemo in last night and I'm frustrated to say the least. I initially took it apart and wiped everything down with a qtip and iso alcohol. I then tossed all the parts into an 8 minute ultrasonic cleaner wash. After getting my first build and tank full, I start taking a few drags and immediately get this funky metallic taste. Thought it could have been bad juice so I tried another juice and the metallic taste was still there. Tore the tank down, cleaned it again, and same thing. I'm using a 1.4 ohm coil (28 gauge) and Japanese cotton for the wicking. Running the build on my mvp at 11 watts. Anyways I don't know what else to do other than to contact the vendor and return it. I really wanted to like this device but I can't handle that funky taste. Has anyone else experienced any issues like this?
Very odd, no clue what would cause that ... I soaked and rinsed mine in lava hot water and wiped all the pieces/parts down. Coiled and wicked it and no issues/no metallic taste. Maybe try boiling the pieces? It may be safe to boil the glass, but I typically do not... just the metal pieces.
I let them all soak in alcohol when they arrive ( just be very careful with plastic tanks; use Dawn on those). I recently got a Yiloong clone that was so stinky, I had to do 2 2 hour soaks.
