I have read about people adding distilled water to high VG liquid to thin it out, but I have never done it.

I have. Works very well. 1-3 drops of distilled water per 1 ml is all it takes to improve the viscosity of any high VG eliquid. I usually start with 1 or 2 drops and mix them well with my juice.

I have been experimenting with my Lemo since I got it, best vapor production was with the stock coil. Been trying to get back to that ever since. Just a couple days ago, ran across the instruction sheet that came with it. It listed the stock coil as 4mm. I am currently running a 1.1 ohm at 3.5 mm that is working pretty well with Rayon wicking.

Just got my Lemo in today. Don't have my ohm meter in yet but it's reading 1.2 ohm on my iStick. Couple quick questions: (1) Should I wait for my actual ohm meter to come in or is the reading from the iStick fine? (2) Do I absolutely have to disassemble this and wash it before use? I haven't attempted a build yet and wanted to just use the pre-built coil and wicking to get a feel for what the Lemo vapes like. I'm afraid if I pull it apart I won't be able to get it wicked properly again and won't be able to give it a vape. But if it's absolutely necessary, I'll wash it and make my first attempt at wicking. Thanks for any help you all can give.

I would recommend cleaning all the parts that come apart. I did use the stock coil and wick on one of mine and it seemed just fine to me. Would suggest cleaning the glass and chimney however just to be safe.

I have washed all of my new equipment with soap and hot water. You just don't know where this stuff has been, if there is machining oil residue, dirty hands, etc. I also throw away all the cotton that comes with the Lemos, once you unscrew the chimney, get a good look at the wicking, maybe even snap a picture. Then try to slide it back and forth in the coil so you can get a feel for how tight it is in the coil. Then rewick it once it's cleaned. It's not hard to build a coil, but the wicking takes a little practice. And one last thing, make sure all the screws are snug (not over tight or loose) before you re-assemble

Took it apart, washed it, tucked the wick back in like it was (at least like I remember it looking) and it seems to be wicking and vaping fine. Feel like such a noob but thanks for the comments. Lot of vapor and flavor, loving it so far. The trick's gonna be building the coil and actually wicking it myself. About how long does the wick and coil last?

A great thing I found to wash new attys is an ultrasonic cleaner. I picked one up for $28 on eBay and it works great. If I want to rebuild and change liquids, I just take it apart and toss it in the cleaner and after it's done it will have virtually no residue of the previous juice.
Thanks for the suggestion. What liquid does it use to wash it, and does the cleaner dry it too?

You just use warm water. You can also add a drip of dish soap if you have some really scummy parts. Runs for 3 minutes and you can run it a few times for ultra cleanliness as well. Unfortunately you'll still have to hand dry it ;)

This is a "for what it's worth" comment, but I've found that Dawn dishwashing soap (the "original" dark blue Dawn, not scented) works the best. I have no idea why, but it sure cuts machine oil like a champ. Someone told me about Dawn a long time ago and thought I'd pass it on here. YMMV

Almost forgot -- only takes a few drops. I made the mistake the first time I used Dawn and squirted in a bunch and ended up rinsing the parts a hundred times. If I wasn't so ticked off when I did that it would have been comical -- sort of like overflowing the dishwasher in a comedy show. Also, a fingernail brush is handy for really scrubbing the parts if needed.

My ehpro I wicked it like i read most people do but for me it didn't work - Then I after wicking put the chamber on pull the wicks through cut them off at the top of the chamber and press them down and it was fine.

For the lemo I have the wick ends touching the bottom and away from the juice holes and its going good.

kfl away from juice holes didn't work for me but next to the holes it did and so far the lemo on the juice holes wasn't wicking good and away from the holes is good.

The juice channels on the lemo are larger than on my kfl so maybe that has something to do with it.

Water doesn't remove machine oil because oil repels water. Thus a lot of soap should be used and parts should be washed, and rinsed several times with soap and clean water.
