I just got my lemo and wicked it like I do my kayfuns. No dry hit, no gurgling and phenomenal vape.
Has anyone used the cotton that comes with the LeMo? It seems a little denser than the organic cotton I've been using in my kayfun.
I haven't used it yet and have been wondering about it. It does look and feel more dense. I seem to remember at least one person mentioning that it looked a little funky and they were not planning on using it. What I got is nice and clean looking. I probably will boil it before using though. I wonder if it is some kind of "different" cotton?

Hi all,

Thought I would share my favorite Ni200 build ... I've been using this for the last 4-5 weeks and it's been fantastic. I've recently started using a left-hand thread machine screw which has helped to perfect them even more. More info with the pics below.

Pic 1/2:

Freshly mounted off the left-handed M4 machine screw. I place the coil on the screw, tighten the leads, and then gently position the coil to my liking and then unscrew the screw/remove it from the coil. The left-handed machine screw is used so that the leads are in the proper orientation - on the RIGHT side (3 o'clock position) of the posts which allows easy tightening in a standard clockwise rotation around the post screws.

I used some needle nose pliers to gently squeeze it together a little bit after mounting to get my wraps a little closer to each other. The softness of the Ni200 + tension wrapping around the machine screw allows this to happen without mangling the coil and still leaves nicely uniformed spacing. The super tight tension wrapping is performed with the help of a jig.

This is a ~7 wrap measuring .18 ohms.

Pic 3: Wicked with KGD Japanese organic cotton. Slight tension in the coil. Trimmed so that the wick will lightly brush the top of the lower deck.

Pic 4: Juiced up and wick ends positioned ... wick ends resting on the top of the lower deck. Juice channels are NOT blocked.

Vapes consistently and wonderfully... and a very simple build to complete with a slow and steady hand.

    Looks Good!
I've been looking all over for LH thread machine screws.
Can you share your source. I've only been able to find 3' threaded rod.

    Thanks

I finally broke out my Lemo this am,I used the pre-installed wire and cotton,I would like to get into the sub territory,.4 .6 Ohm range,I'm working with 26 and 28 gauge K.Any suggestions about the number of wraps I may need and the size of DB would be appreciated..
You may want to check out Steam Engine | free vaping calculators . It allows you to do "what if's" with coils. You can do all sorts of combinations and it is super easy to use. This will let you custom design the coil that will be right for your application. Hope this helps......:2c:

Perfect! I also think wicking is best when touching the deck and not blocking the juice channels to work like a charm with nickel builds! With kanthal you might be able to get away with more, but you would be hitting TP way too much with too much wick with nickel!!

If anyone is curious about the Lemo Drop, I did a review and a re-wicking of it. I LOVE this RTA! More then my KFL!

    Enjoyed your review.

I first put the wires through the holes but the wires go down from the coil and bend at a right angle to go through the holes plus I was losing 20% power through the legs. Though it does grip the wires better than an RDA i have.
Under the screw heads from now on I do.
Bit of a dunce i thought the black marks next to the air holes was some burning from drilling.

Haven't used the ring to plug the fill hole yet but i've read its ok. The screw in the fill hole does go in good and its tapered down the top and seals the hole good - So does my KFL+ clone but that needs an o-ring and has to be screwed all the way in.

Mine arrived in great order but i have seen other peoples ones that were chipped.

Loving the air flow - I set it at max and had a go and it was good.
Vapes the juice all the way down and you can see the juice holes and your juice level - On the KFL I'm tilting it every now and then when its low to see how much juice is left.

Haven't washed any with machine oil, I was just referring to cleaning parts.

You just use warm water. You can also add a drip of dish soap if you have some really scummy parts. Runs for 3 minutes and you can run it a few times for ultra cleanliness as well. Unfortunately you'll still have to hand dry it ;)

I also teach Engrish part time.

I don't follow. IF you're trying to say that's Engrish, then you've clearly never actually read any Engrish LOL

I think the reference was regarding sentence structure. I say that based on the highlighted text in the second quoted post. Guess we are going to have to watch our proverbial P's and Q's now......:D

Yes, the price is correct. I was hoping it would be made of solid silver or some similar rare metal. It wasn't. These things are just incredibly rare. :)

Dang. I may have to start smoking cigarettes again due to the stress of knowing he'll be correcting and grading my posts. Maybe self-mutilation is in my future as well. Thanks KGB7.
