there are some silicon plugs that come with it that you can use in place of the fill screw.....makes it tooless that way. Not sure what they mean by tabs....unless it's the little notches around the screw to adjust airflow.....it seems to come shipped wide open which to me was like sucking there a huge straw......way too airy. I closed mine down more than halfway. sure is a warm vape on my istick.....I need to find some set up that cools this down for me. I have some 30 g kanthal going to try and build something tomorrow......also have some 34 g premade coils sitting around that I use on my kangers.....might try them too just for fun!!

I've seen in some videos that the air shipment screw is way to loose and it might do the air controlling automatically. I wonder if there is a way to maybe put a o-ring at the top and bottom of the nut so it doesn't work is way down and change your airflow?

Several methods including o-rings and springs were discussed early on in this thread. They do work.

Set the adjustment to preference and place a spare drip tip o-ring under the adjuster to hold it's place. No need to put one above the adjuster.

yeah it spins pretty freely.....how in the world will I get a oring on......all new to this....
FIRST I have to figure out a cooler vape on it.

It's not complicated. Remove lower base section, just as you would to fill it or adjust the air flow. Adjust air flow to taste. Install o-ring over the center post threads. Re-install lower base section.

I have found it's unnecessary to have something above the the AFC nut, because the AFC tends to self-adjust to a looser draw, not tighter. An o-ring under the AFC keeps it from backing off.

This o-ring is a standard 510 drip tip o-ring that I pilfered from an old drip tip I no longer use.

Maybe it's just me, but I was confused about the placement of the 0-ring. I finally realized it was "above" or "over" and "below" or "under" that was balling me up. The words are relative to the position of the Lemo. When it's upright in the vaping position, the 0-ring is "below" the adjustment ring and when the Lemo is upside down (like to put in juice) the 0-ring is "above" the adjustment ring.
This make sense?? ....

Bought a Lemo last night with some early Christmas money. Not bad at all, my air flow control doesn't spin it has some stick to it which is nice even though I leave it wide open. Had some issues wicking but like usual some reading on this forum fixed that up- I was wicking like a KFL with cotton not like a Lemo with rayon. Bigger wick and shes flowing nicely with my 26gauge 1.08 wrap on 3/32 bit.

I kind of want to try a sub ohm coil on here something like 0.5 but not sure if any wick will keep up with that, I doubt a 0.8 would have issues though....hmmmm.

So is the lemo good to go out of the box no need for a wash ?

Not knowing if the person or persons who worked on my RBA / RTA / RDA had washed their hands after "other activities" gives me the willies. Just for peace of mind I always do a tear down and thorough cleaning of any new device. A big advantage of doing so besides the peace of mind is a better understanding of how the device is built and how the parts "relate" to each other. :2c:

I got mine ( lemo drop silver) and been trying to build a coil for days.....just not any good at it.....terrible in fact. 30 g kanthal around a 1/8 bit and I'm at 3.8 ohms....another at 4.0. I'm all thumbs at this and figure that I may have to just stick to my Protanks......
I bought premade 1.8 for them from. fast---- and just replace wick with cotton.....that I can work with.....this thing not so much.
Anybody want it?....pm me

Are you running enough power through the coils? 3.8 ohms is ridiculously high resistance
