Could someone please explain to me the differences between the two? I'm at work and can't/shouldnt be browsing but I'm really interested into getting one or the other. HELPPP

Only difference in the Lemo and Lemo drop is a shorter tank section......which is a difference in juice capacity. Lemo has capacity of 5ml and the Lemo Drop is 2.7 ish, i believe. Just a few posts ago however someone stated that they notice flavor difference ....with the Lemo being better. I don't own a Lemo Drop.

Thanks to all that helped with my leaking problems. I am almost positive after reading what you guys said, that it's weaking that can't handle the juice flow. What would be best? Bigger coil diameter (building 2mm), or just more wick? It might not matter, but I have airflow all the way opened.

I never build smaller than 3mm on mine. Dunno if that's why I don't get leaking or not. I just think if there is room on the deck use it. :)

Vapemail came today.... 3 more Lemo's and another Hobo 2.1. Once my 2 Aqua v2 OTM versions come in from FT I think I might be done for a while. 6 Lemo, 3 Hobo and 3 Aqua V2 sounds like a happy number!!

People have success with various sizes. So it's kind of personal preference. I build mine on a numbered drill bit, I think No. 34, it measures .108 in. which is about 2.7 mm. Works well for me. Some build at 1/8 inch, some even bigger and have success with that. So I guess, pick one and try it.

Edit: Bigger coil gets bigger wick, and the Lemo works well with lots of wick IMHO.

Nudder Edit: I like the wick to be quite snug inside the coil.

Fellow lemovians, I don't mean to derail the help on how to keep it from leaking (I prefer a larger coil with a snug wick trimmed to brush the top of the deck, pressed as close to the deck wall and away from the juice channel) but do you guys prefer your coil higher above the deck or closer to the deck. Reason I ask is that I just chucked a build on the lemo, pulled it up high and wow, quite a bit better flavor!!

I like around 3mm on the Lemo and Drop.

Does everyone find it easier to trap their wire leads under the screws, or are you all mostly pushing them into the holes on the build deck? Lately I am struggling with the post screws and keeping the wires under there...but the first time I tried using the holes I gave up on that too.

I just struggle sometimes with hand/eye coordination ha ha.

I got 26 gauge wire trapped under the screw heads - First build i put the wire through the holes , needed to bend both ends at right angles and ends up was losing a lot of power 20% plus through the leg lengths (the wire from the end of wraps to the end that makes contact )

Just made a Monster coil using a wood screw. Its about 3.4mm, 24guage, 6 wraps, came out to 0.69ohms.

At 30watts this baby hits like Soul Train!!

I can only chain vape it at 20watts, other wise its way too hot.

So far I've only used 2.5mm

Have my coil higher above the deck - Have more space on this deck.
With a KFL+ Most builds for me the coil was close to the deck and I'd lift it up just a bit after tightening the wire.
Started doing the lemo the same way but with more space I now find it easier to secure the wires and have more left to lift it higher.

Told you I'd report back, got my drop today
Poped in my customary twisted 28/30 ni200 1.8mm ID 10 wrap .17 ohm spaced coil
wicked with shiseido japanese cotton, been pretty much chain vaping it for about an hour and a half now at 30w 400 degrees no problem haven't hit TP once.
That said it vapes, wicks and feeds juice as great as any other Lemo I have which was to be expected, as it has the same build deck and air flow as its big brother. However the flavor is just not quite there, don't get me wrong it's ok but not as good as big brother.
I'm running identical builds, same Nicoticket Wakonda from the same bottle, same settings and I'll have to say big brother is the clear winner for flavor.
My initial thoughts are I'm not impressed when compared to the full size Lemo.
Still better than any kayfun or clearomiser but not as good as big brother.

So why do you think the larger one taste better to you than the Drop? (I thought the only difference that might effect flavor is the length of the chimney?)

The opposite has been true for me. Maybe it has to do with our differing vape styles. I tend to vape in the 12-20 watt range. Also, you're using Nickel in TC mode. Maybe the big brother is better for that.
