Excellent comparison and write up WeirdWillie, that definitely confirms your initial comparison.

Do you think the conical chimney base/chamber lid has anything to do with it, or do you think it's simply the length? Most chambers have a funnel shape to them, but I don't know how they effect flavor. I use pretty long drip tips on my drippers sometimes, but my old burned out tastebuds really can't tell much of a difference. I use them mostly 'cause they look cool

After inserting the wick in to the coil, i wet the wick with juice, then trim it and shape it with scissors to correct length and size before screwing on the chimney. That way ones the chimney is on, i just have to do is split the wick in the middle so it looks like a V and i can clearly see the juice holes. See pic on previous page.

Larger separated coils +3mm seem to be working way better for me then tightly packed coils. Closer to 1ohm or lower is better as well IMHO. Get 26 guage or 24guage and get it closer to 1ohm or under.

So far, no issues with 70vg and 80vg juice.

Gave it a shot and wrapped a coil off the tool that comes with the Lemo. HUGE coil ~4mm with 26 gauge, 5 wraps came in at 0.9 ohms. HUGE wick almost a whole of a pad of KGD with outer layers removed. Trimmed the corners of the wick a bit and spit it into a V after tucking.

Working great on a tank of NT Frenilla at ~22 watts. Next fill I'm gonna try some Cereal Killa which is 90% VG, we'll see how it works out

we are ordering two more lemo's!!! 6 weeks ago we went from c-twists to mech mods with drippers...great flavor and clouding...then we saw ( ya...i know!) a vid with rip tripper about the lemo..as wuth my wife and i its flavor..at the same time my friend was getting rid of a few things..we bought a real kayfun lite from him..put a coil in it..put it on our c-twist with battery turned to max..great flavor!! so now we could not wait for our lemo's to try..so when we ordered our lemo's we both also got 100w segelei's!

well our stuff got in..fill the lemo's with juice ..90 vg..they both had the factory coils in them...OMG!!! flavor and vape was crazy..both are reading 1.1 ohm..we are running at between 12 and 15 watts..4.0-4.3 volts...we are going thru as much juice as our drippers!!! and the power lever is just a touch more than our c-twists at max!! SO>>>> 2 more lemo's...and either two more segelei's or hana's!!

I have been using my Lemos on an Istick. I bought the Istick first, my first move from egos. With more battery I wanted to try the Lemo and I'm really happy that I did. Now that I have the Lemos, I'm seeing the limitations of the Istick. 20 watts max and the voltage does not down regulate. So my build choices are kinda limited. So now I'm building a mod with the Yihi SX350 60 watt chip to give me more flexibility with my Lemos. The SX truly will adjust below battery voltage. I am anxious to explore more builds. I guess my point is, one thing leads to another. When I first started vaping I was happy with the money I was saving. Now that's out the door.

Here is something else I think Eleaf got right with the Lemo.
Above and beyond superior flavor.
Above and beyond superior vapor production.
Above and beyond superior stock airflow.
Above and beyond superior ease of build.
Eleaf managed to do all of this at a price that everyone can afford.
I've been reading the thread on kayfun 4 and kayfun 4 clone thread and in less than 2 weeks of it's release has been cloned, and it dawned on me the Lemo has been out since June ... 6 months on the market and THE best rebuidable tank on the market has yet to be cloned.
Why clone an $80, $100, $200 rebuildable and not a $40 rebuildable, because there is no money to be made in cloning something that is already being sold at a bargain in the first place and IMO worth twice what we pay for them.
I think many people that have never tried one sees the cheap $35-$40 price tag and dismisses the Lemo as being a cheap made low quality vaper producer.
This couldn't be further from the truth, although simplistic in it's design the Lemo is a high quality superior vaping device that cost less than it should.

I've noticed an odd behavior and thought process among the vaping community that if it cost more it's better, maybe it's just a show off status symbol, keep up with the Jone;s thing, I don't know.

I personally believe that Eleaf perfected the rebuildable tank atomizer with the Lemo and reached the pentacle, it doesn't get any better.
Yes top filling would be nice, yes being able to get to my build without emptying the tank would be nice, but I wouldn't want to trade the flavor and vapor production that the Lemo gives for it.
I look at the Kayfun 4 and can't help but think wow what an over engineered over priced waste of metal and money, I have no interest in one or one of the clones and I'll tell you why!! because it can not give me a better vaping experience than my already cheaply priced Lemo's.

BTW for what it's worth filling the Lemo from the bottom, or emptying the tank to get to the build doesn't bother me what so ever, because I know in just a few minutes I'll be in vaping nirvana.

Nah it doesn't get any better than parallel 2500mAh 25R 18650's in a DNA40 I can vape hard for 2 days without charging, or swapping out batteries.

There is plenty of room on the current deck for dual coils, I've done it, but failed to find any benefits from a flavor and vapor production standpoint.
Now the Magma on the other hand even though the flavor and vapor production is great in single coil it's exponentially better in dual coil mode.
Yes I know I just compared apples to bananas but my point is, the Lemo was designed and purpose build for single coil to perfection, and multi coils is not going to improve on whats already perfect.
I did find that with using kanthal, if you build a single parallel coil in the range of 0.4 to 0.7 ohms you can take the wattage up as far as you want to go and still retain the flavor, albeit a very hot vape when you exceed 40 watts, I took 80%VG up to 80watts and the Lemo preformed like a champ.

I've noticed that too. In fact, The Lemo is flat out dismissed without explanation in the "Rebuildable Tank Atomizers - An Anthology, Pictorial, Builds and Reviews " thread

If it were priced at $175, it would have taken the top billing.

I love my Lemos if they're built with dual coils. But I like the flavor I get from a smaller Chamber, like The small chamber Foggers. Even if the Fogger is a pain to build, poorly constructed, and weighs a ton, I still like them better than any other tank I own, which include some pretty pricey tanks....that was until I got my Kayfun4. The K4 is one sweet vape. I've only built it with single coils so far. but it's performing just as well as my Foggers with duals!!

Very well said. I can't add a thing except I just finished building my mod. Now adventures can begin on experimenting on different builds with my Lemos. My wife thinks I've lost it.

I just moded the base of chimney by dremeling 2mm gaps right where the juice passage is and it wicks so much faster now. Chain vaping at 28watts with 0.6ohm coil.

Hmmmmm, my coils are right at .6 & chain vaping on the stock holes at 28 watts works fine on mine. Cool little project though.

I drilled out all the air-holes including on the center post, so i need bigger juice holes as well. Other wise juice is not being fed properly do to lack of vacuum that pulls the juice from the tank.

I still need to make the juice holes a tad more bigger, the last 0.5ml of juice is not being fed fast enough to the wick, other wise i have to keep the tank half full.

It would work fine, but you are limited to 20watts and cant use coils lower then 1ohm.

It would work, you wont get its top performance, but it will be a good vape.

Agreed. That's the issue with 20W devices, you can't get a satisfying vape IMO. Your builds will be very limited to get that full 20W and your battery life will obviously suffer.
