Nice, that I will do. And I will not dry-fire ni200. I've read that you break down the metal at those temperatures and it becomes real britle. So that brings up my next question, what do you do to clean the coil? So far i've just tried to floss the coil with some old excess cotton, and it sorta works, until I eventually manage to bend the damn coil. Slow and steady is the name of this game hehe

I just gently brush it with a soft bristle tooth brush as I'm rinsing everything in hot tap water.

Ni200 seems awful fussy. Do the benefits outway thr pita factor?

It's not as fussy as some make it out to be.
You just have to keep in mind It's a different critter than kanthal and kanthal thinking does not apply.
So to answer your question Ni200 with a DNA40 is most certainly worth it for flavor chasers like myself.
I can dial in my juices to bring out those subtitle undertones at different temperatures, something that can't be done consistently with just wattage or voltage alone.

I was under the impression that the DNA40 chipset just allowed for peak temp setting to protect against burning your juice. Is it more than that? Will it regulate vaping temps or.......?

Temp control on the DNA40 controls the average temp on your coil. The setting itself is user controllable from 200 degrees to 600 degrees F. If you find you like your juices better at 380 degrees then you can set it there and know that every time you vape it will be roughly 380 degrees. I say roughly as there is a degree of error with the temp settings but evolv notes it at about +- 10 degrees I believe.

Different juices vape different at different temperatures
There is no magic universal power, voltage, or temperature settings.
For instance I like Wakonda at 400° I get more of the coffee flavor come through but at 420° more of the tobacco flavor comes to the front. but when I'm vaping Frenilla I find 420° to be the sweet spot
But at 400° it just doesn't bring out the vanilla creaminess quite as well.
Either way I've kept my juices and wick well below toxic temperatures

I mostly drip, and just use an atlantis at work. I wanted to get something I can get a warmer vape off of to use at work, so I got a lemo drop. I'm really trying to like it but the airflow is just too tight for me. (I have adjusted the ring all the way out. ) I like the airflow on the atlantis, but above 30 watts is a no go. Are there and modifications I can make to the lemo? Will just drilling out the airflow on the bottom work? I heard the Billow was pretty airy, and would be willing to trade if anyone was interested :)
Give the Lemo a chance for a little bit. The Billow leaks. I thought the same thing about my Lemo but after you get used to it the airflow is nice and the flavor kicks the Atlantis in the jewels

Impossible to answer as there are too many variables; PG/VG mix, brand of juice, level of nicotine, type of flavoring, type of coil, type of wick material, how many watts, how much voltage.

One answer does NOT exist. It could be between 1 days and 30 days, 1ml and 300ml. There is no one fit all answer.

Hey folks! How often do you guys tend to replace your wicks? I've had the same wick in mine for only three days and it's all ready pretty gunked up and nasty already. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong or if you need to just rewick frequently.

I re-wick when i change flavours... if i stick to the same for a long period i re-wick after 10-12 days. 50/50 blends with 3mg using japanes cotton.

Ok I just bit the bullet and ordered a black Lemo Drop. I picked it over the Kayfun v4 and I hope I made the right choice. I opted for the Lemo instead because of the rave reviews and all the extra pieces of the Kayfun seems to make it look extra complicated and more pieces to wash and disassemble. I am not into all that.

How tight is the airflow on the smallest setting on the Lemo? I'm a little worried about how airy it is as I like mouth to lung hits and a tighter draw. Also, I notice some people are using builds where the coil isn't all squished together and they are spaced apart a little bit. Does that work better? I've built pretty much everything as a microcoil but I am wondering if the spaced out coils would work better. I can't seem to vape much these days without my throat feeling slightly sore and I don't even vape a lot.
