GREAT THREAD!

+1 on the dramatic coughing, +1 on dating nonsmokers, +1 for being able to duck into the airport bathroom and vape while waiting on delayed flights! I hated the small battery on my supermini, so I got an ego and one battery lasts ALL DAMN DAY!! No litter, no ashes, Allthough I don't look forward to the day when I get pulled over by a cop who thinks I'm smokin pot, and having to explain it.

LOL! I had a layover at LAX once, they have a "smoking atrium" outside of one of the terminals. I was waiting at a terminal on the other side of the airport :( so I kept having to jog the 1/2 mile or so to the smoking area.... and our plane was delayed so I wasn't even sure if I'd miss my plane by taking the chance to leave my terminal. My hubby is a very patient non-smoking man. :)
If there is a worse "smoking area" anywhere in the world than LAX I would not want to know about it.
Even when I was smoking I found that place to be just disgusting.

I'll add some...

- Being able to have a puff or two if I want to.
- Not carrying around hand sanitizer to take the cigarette smell of my hands and face.
- More time with my kids.
- Not having to go outside in freezing cold or burning heat.
- House smells better (guess what, air fresheners do have scent, I never noticed)
- Not making the family wait for my because I have to smoke.
- No more bosses calling my attention because I take to many smoking breaks.
- Did I mention the smell?
- +1 on not going to 7-11 for a pack @ 1am because I'm almost out of cigs.
- Being able to ride the bike A LOT FASTER.
- Car doesn't smell like ashtray.

Cincinnati, although I've not been there in about 5 years.

One little room, about 8'x10', behind an all glass door with no ventilation. You could barely see in due to the smoke, and the only items in the room were a wheelchair, a payphone, and a broom. Trust me, you didn't need to even light your own cigarette to 'get your fix' if you went in.

I can't imagine what it would be like walking in there now.

Though it's only been just a little over a day....I don't smell like smoke! My car doesn't smell like smoke. My hands don't smell like smoke. My breath doesn't smell like smoke. My clothes and hair don't smell like smoke! No more ashes in my car. Now some people may think that is nothing, but with 3 kids and a wife who absolutely detests smoking, it's a great thing to me. I don't have to worry about having to smell like smoke anymore!
