I can do P90X until my muscles give out, not my lungs.
I can vape away in my office and get so much more done! ...um well more time to browse between here and theChive.
My kids don't care if I vape, as long as I'm not smoking. Unfortunately, my wife still smokes, and is a hater, so she makes me vape outside (little does she know I vape like a mad man when she's at work and never knows)

I no longer have to think about this sort of thing negatively with every puff:

** Being able to pop out of bed in the morning w/o coughing & wheezing.
** Not hacking up nasty things in the sink. (sorry lol)
** Not getting my legs ripped 'cause I forgot to warn the cat before lighting up. I read someone else mentioning their cats and I thought, "Oh totally!!"
** Not catching colds because I was outside smoking in the rain, or simply because my overall health has improved dramatically.
** Not getting the constant lectures from my boss (who never smoked and dosen't understand the addiction)
** Being able to vape at my desk w/o interrupting work. (though I do miss the breaks)
** The curious smile on my bosses face as he sniffs the air and inquires what flavor I'm vaping today.
** No longer discovering the nasty residue on items in my house or car. (not any new ones anyway)
** Flavors, flavors and MORE flavors!!
** The enjoyment from a new hobby, DIY mixing.
** Sharing all these benifits with my girlfriend, who switched with me.
** The change in expression of her kids when we ask one of them to "grab my pv/vapestick from my desk" as opposed to 'grab my pack of smokes and lighter'
** Someone said it before, "No one bums smokes!" *cackles*
** Being able to say/check non-smoker at the doctor's office.
** I don't stink!!
** I can taste and smell again! (not always a bonus. lol)
** No more dumped ashtrays 'cause the cats went scattering.
** No more butts!
** Vapeing at the store/theatre. (stealth or not)

Like others, I could go on and on... my favorite:
Being well educated on a healthy alternative enough that I can completely crush anti's in an intellectual debate when they give me that not-so-polite cough & stare, and complain about something they couldn't possibly have smelled yet. I read for months before I made the switch, and continue to read. 'They' don't stand a chance. :D

Downside:
** Mom still reeks like a smoker... 'cause I haven't convinced her to switch yet...
** having to go nuts 'cause your juice ran out, battery went dead, last atty died. heh (unlikely, I carry enough supplies for 4 people. lol)

I'll pitch in, I'm sure all my reasons have been said before, but that doesn't make them any less true for me!

- I go to Gas Stations for Gas now, as opposed to going for a pack of smokes every single morning and deciding after if I have enough money for gas or not.
- No more scrambling for change to buy a pack the day before pay day
- No more borrowing money from non-smoking family members for cigarettes. "What do you need it for? *THAT look*" "Smokes. Can I have that $5 now? Any longer and I might punch a hole in a wall."
- No one can bum smokes off me any more, and if they really need it I can drip onto an atty for them and don't feel like it's cost me as much. When I smoked, every cigarette was worth too much to me to be gladly handing them out
- Muscle soreness gets to me long before I run out of breath, and I never have to sit down and wheeze for 5 minutes anymore.
- My bedroom stamina is JACKED.

An honorable mention to my sense of smell being heightened. The taste side effect is great, but most things that I notice smelling don't smell great at all...

Love this thread. Everything that has already been listed AND:
When my mom lost her job, instead of spending $140.00 on 2 cartons of analogs that might last her 2 weeks, I got her 2 Mega Magmas, 2 packs of cartos, a refill kit and 60ml of juice. She is hooked.
When my 15yr old came home from hanging out with friends I asked her who was smoking, cause she reeked! (LMAO! You should have seen the look on her face!!)
A new hobby for my best friend and I. We joke about the neighbors calling the cops if they look through the window. The dining room table so looks like a (insert illegal drug here) lab. LMAO!
To agree with another post: Dr. Pepper is very complex, who knew...
Downside: My rabbit stinks. He never did before. Thinkin' the rabbits cage needs to be cleaned alot more often...LOL

Agreed! My boss hates smoking and I used to sneak out and pray I didn't reek when I came back from breaks. LOL!! Now I can do it right in my office and don't have to worry about the smell. Love it! I'm willing to fight the fight to make sure e-cigs stay legal, as they should. I've tried patches, gum, cold turkey, Allan Carr's book....lol Nothing works. But THIS? This works. I've gone weeks without smoking and it doesn't feel like torture like it did every other time I quit smoking for a few weeks/months before going back because I got sick of the non-stop craving/obsession. I thank God for this product. Without it, I feel certain I'd smoke until I met an early grave.

being 29 and going to see my doctor then her asking when i quite smoking! (she use to lectured me horribly and i come from an entire family of smokers!) and when telling her i switched to an electronic cig. she smiled!! and says "that's those things that create vapor right?" and that being ALL she said..such a great feeling!

being one of the only smokers out of my close friends and them letting me smoke in their homes or cars because it doesn't stink and won't kill the friends with smoking allergies! instead they've turned it into a game.."which flavour is she vaping today?"

the biggest complaint is that i make them hungry cause my flavours smell so good! LOL

Been vaping for 30 days and in that short time the things that have changed for me...

When I take my dog for a walk, he's not dragging me behind him because I'm out of energy and can't breathe. When I laugh with my friends, I don't hack and cough until I see spots. I sleep better because I breathe better. When I sing in the car, I don't have to clear my throat constantly. I can smell... well, everything.

This little device is a Godsend.
