OK, as you all know I'm not an exactly the sharpest of knives. But this doesn't make sense. If a lack of a vacuum would cause leakage, wouldn't a full carto leak. Isn't there a inner tubing in the cart that keeps the full cart from leaking? I think the only way it could leak is not a lack of a vacuum, but either the tank is so full that it is higher than the inner tube or cut/punched thru the tube during set up.

BTW I took the top off my tank and let it sit for an hour without any leakage.

A full carto does leak when filling them until the juise is absorbed into the matting. That's why I always use a .... plug carto condom when I fill cartos. The CE2 has no matting so there's nothing to catch the juice.
Yours didn't leak because it has matting absorbing the juice.

Mike,

I NEED one by October 1. First day of bow season. I hate farting around refilling cartos on a dark drive or in a tree stand.
HURRY!

Bow season started here over a week ago. The hubby took his BP and Tank on a 7 day hunting/camping trip and the tank made the trip nicer for him! You will enjoy the tank while you are hunting!

The top and bottom caps were originally going to be anodized to match the BP's. I'm not sure if he's still going that route or not.

I was wondering that as well.

This! Why waste the time assembling them? Unless you're talking about slotting cartos, but even then I'd bet that you'd have a buttload of people that'd be willing to buy just a 'kit' with the caps, tube, and filler screw.
Offer them unassembled for a few bucks less and I bet you sell out same day.

can someone show me the appropriate sized hole in a 801 fusion? I punched a hole in an 801 and it's tasting pretty crappy now. like I burnt it. so I need to know 1 hole or 2 or more and the appropriate size hole.

thanks
pat

Jag, the size of the hole doesn't matter too much...I usually slot mine with a dremel but punched one last night with an awl, 2 holes. Most likely you didn't let it soak long enough, I like to let a new Fusion soak a good 30 mins before vaping.

I've never had a leaker until the one I punched last night but it's being a pain in the ... to fill the tank. It doesn't leak in use but I must have knocked the carto out of round because I can't get the tank filled over half before it starts running out the bottom. I think I'll stick to using the dremel.

That's why I use the Dremmel. I've put big holes, small ones, square ones, etc. but they all work the same. I do however put a carto condom on it first and fill the carto normally then fill the tank when I put a new one on.
For people that don't own a Dremmel a drill will work just as good.

The closer to the cap you can keep the slot, the more juice you can get to feed out of it.

With a dual cartomizer higher is better so that you can get both coils wet. After some serious experimenting I recommend the shorter length tube for the longer dual coils. Have a longer length of the dual coil out the bottom of the tank, so it looks almost like a tree. This will keep both coils wet, prevent any burnt taste and drastically cuts down on leakage through the center hole.
