Thanks for the balut Mac. AG and longhaul would love it, with a dash of
salt and some beers, we'd be good to go. Man, if I was on that episode of fear factor when they ate the balut, I would've won the whole thing.
There's another filipino dish (dinaguan) which my mom and grandma would introduce as "chocolate meat", years later I found out it was pork blood, pork intestines, pork .... and pork belly all mixed up into a gelatinous stew. Very, very tasty with some puto (sweet rice muffins). Damn, you guys got me hungry...lol!
