I'm defiantly getting one of these guys, I've been looking for a mini-style RTA and this looks perfect. I was originally leaning toward the Kayfun Mini Clone by Ivogo, but I don't like the plastic tank, and even thought it looks bad ... in all steel mode, you can't see your juice level. Also, I've heard that the side fill port is a royal pain.
I like how the build deck of the mini fogger is just two straight posts with holes in the middle, I feel like this would be easier to build on compared to the rectangular style kayfun deck, especially on a smaller scaled down device. Those airflow holes look like they are pretty big as well, I like a pretty big airflow and I feel like with the ring removed on the mini fogger the airflow would be better than the kayfun mini.

I don't get the dislike for plastic! most of our food comes in plastic containers!
A plastic tank will in noway affect my dissection on wether I'm interested in a new atty or not.
I'm getting a mini fogger to try it But I all ready have a mini Kay-Fun and a GS. It's going to have to be one heck of an atty to beat them IMO

I actually just ordered one from ebay. The only reason I don't like plastic tanks is because I vape menthol liquids which can sometimes destroy plastic tanks(I've had some leaking through the windows of my old evod clearos, which from my understanding is a sign of corroding). Also, I tend to tighten my stuff pretty tight, and I just feel like a plastic piece is more likely to strip compared to a metal or glass piece (the fogger is air sealed in this case which I like). As soon as I get my mini fogger I will put a review up, I am using an eleaf lemo right now, so my only concern is if the airflow is comparable.

Had my mini fogger for about a week now (got it for like $30 on ebay). Have to say, I am completely unimpressed. I can not get this thing to wick right, I feel like I've tried everything; long, short, fat, thin, rayon, cotton, wetting and trimming the wicks before and/or after the chimney is on, nothing seems to work. I get about 2-5 decent hits then I get a nasty bunt taste, reminds me of the scorched rubber taste I would some get on old evod clearos. Those big deep juice channels looked good in theory to me, but in this unit it just doesn't see to work. Looking at it closely, I notice that when you screw the bottom part of the chimney on and install the o-ring that holds the glass piece in place the juice channels are basically completely covered, which I think is probably the root of the problem. Even though the juice channels on my lemo aren't as wide and deep as the mini fogger, when you put the chimney on you can still see the bottom part of the channel where the juice flows through. Also, the o-rings holding the glass tank in place on the lemo are flat and on the fogger they are raised. Not only does this block up the channels like I mentioned before, it doesn't create as good of a seal as the flat rings. The air flow control is also pretty crappy. Very hard to get the threads to catch evenly and once you have the entire unit put together you really can't adjust it very well. I tried using it with the ring completely removed, but it leaked really bad well I filled it. The top fill port was another feature that looked good in theory but didn't function as I hoped. I always got some sort of leaking from the bottom when I filled this unit, and trying to extract the juice from the port (using a luer lock syringe) was a pain. I just about given up on this thing, it got pretty annoying having to extract my liquid, re-wick it, and re-fill it after just a few hits just to have to repeat the process all over again, I wasted too much of my e-juice and time doing this.
Just wanted to give my thoughts on this unit since there is not a lot of info about it out there. This is only my second rebuildable, so I am still kind of a beginner in that aspect, but I have had close to zero problems with my lemo and the mini fogger has been nothing but problems for me. If you are more experienced when it comes to rebuildables, for the price it may be worth trying out, maybe you'll have better luck than me. If you are still in that beginner stages with rta's like me, I would look elsewhere.

Not the news I was looking for :( It sound like a typical fogger hard to wick :( It took me what seemed like for ever to get my fogger 4.1 to wick properly. All the videos I watched and posts I read didn't work for me I finally got it to work, and there ok now. Mine will be here in a few days Hope I have better luck

I hope you have better luck as well. That way you can give me some advice :D. If you've had a fogger before and got it working, then you should be alright (better off than me at least haha). I'm give it another shot if someone else who gets it, like yourself is able to drop some knowledge on me. If anything, this purchase has made me realize how much I like my eleaf lemo rta. Kinda put me in the "if it's not broken don't fix it" state of mind.

I have this, and am also not very impressed.

I have only built it one time, but my main problem so far is the tight airflow. My AFC ring did not seem to come off, I figured I could probably force it, but I figured I would give it a try fully opened. Stupid tight airflow. I will try taking it off, but then it will look stupid. What a silly design choice to have air flow control that is useless.

I can maybe give some advice about the o-ring blocking the juice channels though. When I was first putting it together I noticed the o-ring completely covering the juice channels, but in my case I immediately realized that was a no go, and started fiddling with it. I got a small screw driver and pushed real hard, and sure enough the o-ring went down further than it seemed it would, and the juice channels were cleared. However, I would think screwing on the rest of the tank would have pushed it down anyway.

But it doesn't seem to be the best at wicking anyways, the chimney is too close to the glass. There is always a large deformed bubble trying to squeeze itself up, and it seems I can only take a couple of hits before it needs a minute to catch up, though this is one reason they may have made the air so tight, so that you are constantly inhaling so hard as to force liquid into the channels. They should have left the chimney the same size but increased the outer dimensions half a millimeter, then it would probably wick better, and be the same size as the Nemi, the most obvious mod this would have been good for.

And yes, it's hard not to flood it when refilling, though I can accomplish it if I vape it completely dry before refilling, and do it fast.

Again this is still my first build, I may get this thing working better, but it so far it's a huge disappointment.

UPDATE
Looks like I FINALLY got this thing to wick properly. Most of the other times I wicked it I trimmed and wet the wicks before putting the chimney on because that seemed to be the way everyone was wicking foggers on youtube. This time I did the "kayfun method" that I use on my eleaf lemo where I leave the wick ends long, pull them upward, put the bottom part of the chimney on, then trimmed the wick about flush with the top of the bottom part of the chimney. Then, I stuffed the wicks down into the channels, put some juice on them and gave it a few test fires. When I put the unit back together, I really jammed that bottom o-ring down as far as it would go so it wouldn't block the juice channels as much and give the glass tank a tighter seal. Still got a little leaking from the air flow holes when I filled it, but it wasn't as bad as it was before (I think the next time I fill I'm going to tip it upside down, maybe this will help). No more nasty burnt dry hits so far which is awesome of course. Still like my lemo more, but I'm glad I finally got it working.

occultriangle: I agree that the glass piece does seem too close to the chimney. I also always notice that air bubble you described, I also noticed that the glass tank gets kinda hot when you vape on it for a while. The air flow is also too tight for my taste, that's why I love my lemo so much great air flow. My favorite thing about this unit is probably the build deck, having two straight posts with the holes in the middle makes coil placement a lot easier for me, I've had the prettiest, most even looking coils I've ever built on this thing.

Got it in today -- did a kayfun style build with rayon - trimmed the tails just above the bottom chimney piece - vapes well - beginners luck? The wife is vaping happily with this pretty tank - upgraded her kanger mini protank 2 with this one... Now if only the iStick arrives soon - she'll be even happier....

Best regards

well, we're being dosed with estrogen-like hormones all the time from plastics in the food supply -- this is no bueno. you're assuming just because it's common that it's safe. I would say the future will look back at this age of plastic and wonder why we ignored the obvious, just like how we now view the common usage of lead pots and cookware during the roman empire.
