I finally got to see the movie 'Jobs' with Ashton Kutcher portraying Steve Jobs. If this portrayal was accurate, Jobs was a genius on one hand, and a management system of being a powder keg on the other. He threw his girlfriend out of his house when he found out she was pregnant because she didn't fit in with his plans. I don't want to give away too much of the movie, but he did have a vision. I've never used an Apple product, but many have. The interesting thing was Steve Jobs was on a fruit diet. He died from pancreatic cancer. He battled it for 7 years. Ashton Kutcher, to get into the role better, was on a fruit diet in advance of filming. He was taken to the hospital with pancreatitis. Warning - There is adult language sprinkled throughout and somewhat sexual scenes. Ashton did a brilliant job of acting. Steve Jobs was commissioned to invent a new game for Atari. He got his friend to create it. The game was Pong!

He was trying to design a personal home computer in the 70's! I'm glad he lived long enough to know that he did change the world's technology. He wasn't the hands on creating, but he created in his mind. His visionary thinking was off the charts! The sadest thing is that he believed that once you are dead, that's all there is. I hate that. I really do. I would have loved to of met him.
:(

Though I don't care for Apple products, I still liked Steve Jobs, even before it was publicly known that he had cancer. Yes, he was tough to work for, but the same can be said for others. Running a top global corporation, toughness is required. Because wimpy leadership will quickly sink it. This was proven after Jobs was initially canned & was gone for a period.

Jobs wasn't only an visionary thinker, he also stood up strongly for what be believed in. And for those who were his firends, many will say that Steve Jobs was the best friend around. Friendship isn't something to take lightly & not to be confused with buddies or co-workers. True friendship requires trust between the two, something that Jobs didn't take lightly.

I do miss him being around, though like us all, he had his faults, however, he did his part to change the world. He also played a part in keeping a level playing field, had Apple went under in 1997, there's no telling how much we'd be paying for Windows computers.

I think Woz said it wasnt a good accounting of Jobs. I enjoyed Jobs. I grew up with Apple products and hate them more then I hate Windows.

Another good movie is "Pirates of Silicon Valley".

Woz was also a genius! He did the inventing of Pong. He took Steve's idea and created them. I hope the movie was semi-accurate, but you never really know. I watched it on Amazon Prime. I watched it twice. He apparently was a 'hippie' and in the movie (this is all at the beginning) Atari asked him to bathe for he was stinking. But you can't help but admire his vision. I think I've seen Pirates of Silicon Valley. I'll look it up and see! Thanks for your post! :)

You're right. A wimpy CEO won't go far. In the movie, Woz even had enough. I really don't know. Everything aside, I too admired his brain and creativity. I've wanted to see this movie for awhile. I am glad that I got a chance to do so. Might even buy it. Thank you for your input! :)

Fruit alone won't sustain you, but it will fuel and feed Cancer, as all sugars are Cancer's favorite food.

I loved this Movie!

Jobs was a 'visionary'.... I've never owned an "Apple" Product, but were it not for Steve's visions, we wouldn't be enjoying the brilliance of any of the current OS available to us today. He 'pushed' Programmers, Artists and Developers to 'see' what was just a Dream, 'HIS' Dream. He was 'relentless' that way... and through all of that unrelenting pressure, those 'visions' became reality.

Thanks - I forgot all about that and have increased my intake of sugar - That's a no no for me.

Taken sugar in my coffee, sugar in my cereal and added in the last month two 32oz gatorade 21gram sugar in each bottle daily.

Cancer the ugly beast - I don't want to go through that again!

The Doctors in and Movies also - OH BOY - what a great day the Lord provided.

You and me both mightymen! I USED to be a sugar-aholic and no doubt fueled the CANCER I had for years before it was detected!

Hang in there, once you go 90 days without it, ("White Sugar" especially), you'll find it no longer has a 'hold' on you.

Operation done Jan 2010 - Colon cancer - two hernia's developed from first operation one repaired living with the other.

I was off of the junk and started using it and didn't realize it, until you commented on sugar and lights went off and I seen myself using sugar in cereal about 3 months ago then coffee and like I said in the last month last month two 32oz Gatorade daily. Didn't realize it I became addicted again. Now I'm see myself eating more donuts and cake type stuff - Now I know why I've put on over ten pounds in two month.

It's like most thing we see or do, if it looks that great, step back and take a better look at it, is it here to fool us and - fill in the blanks.
