...

We can sit here and argument all day long about how we don’t ban skiing and sun-bathing even though these activities carry risks. But really, when the time comes, are we going to Congress with this argument? ...[/B]

Ding Ding Ding... We have Another.

What a wonderful analogy with the Wifi!
You rock, p.opus

Yes, there seem to be those who apply double standards. And twist and turn when called out on their behavior.

That is good news indeed!
A nice, peer-reviewed study. That is great!

.... although it does make one wonder what new fabrications the antis will come up then... apart from "penis envy" (found this in another thread, from one of the antis who also post in this one, and I am still enjoying a good chuckle :D )

Lady, you really hold a grudge, don't you? Let it go already. If I wanted to harass you, I could have followed you around from thread to thread, posting insults, but I didn't. I moved on. You, on the other hand have come into this thread, and continued to insult myself, and others. That really is sad.

Two, NOBODY here has ever asked for the absolute which we all known is rather unrealistic. Yet comments like, “nothing is 100% safe” or “too much of anything is bad” or, “so you are going to stop living because everything carries risks” are frequently made.

I may have asked for absolutes in the beginning, I can't remember. But I did readjust mid-course. I think.

yes, yes... also a documented advocate of "penis envy" (posting No 190)

That .. uhm... "theory" speaks for itself. And not necessarily "for" the proponent of such an .. unscientific.. opinion. *very sweet smile*

...............

I do wonder how the world ever continued to turn, how human beings ever survived - without Wifi :D
Yes, yes, thousands of years, some of the greatest inventions of mankind (including the wheel), all without Wifi - yes yes, that must all be an illusion....

Okay.. kill wifi now. Drop a button.. All wifi ends.. What will happen to the world in the short term? Okay hit the button on vaping.. cut it off completely what will happen to the world.

Once you "wake up" from your illusion we can talk.

touche! wonder how the world ever functioned without vaping... really it is tiresome.

Yes, I saw that :)
Just imagine our childhoods, our teenage years, our years as young adults - so deprived, such chaos, such absolute lack of function of the world .. without Wifi. Oh the horror!

Since you are into it..

Remember our childhood years, no batteries to charge.. no little canisters to fill up with liquid.. deprived in chaos.. without vaping..l. oh the horror...

Bet you made sure to keep your binkie..

You can do your best to pretend but you obviously don't mind lashing out at people who don't immediately fall in line. You and a specific group of posters. You attack others who don't want to be part of your human-centipede. I'd be embarrassed but some people are proud of their subservience.

Read it again, it says "The world cannot function without WiFi"

Are you say that somehow we can Turn Back Time and Chuck all Cell Phones and 1/2 of the Computers in the Trash?

A Word of Advise: Don't try using this Argument, or the Comparison of Wi-Fi to e-Cigarette use, when dealing with Policy Makers.

They will Not take you Seriously if you do.

Oh for Christs sake, the majority of studies provided were short-term exposure studies.

Short term

I dismissed them because I was asking for long-term, cumulative exposure studies, something longer than the 3 hours you gave.

Here's a question, why do you feel that your position is so unsure that you have to resort to bringing in a completely unrelated issue in order to win?

People keep pointing out other things where the "must be proven to be 100% safe" thing doesn't happen. It doesn't happen with anything else in the world, but that's the standard you are setting for vaping.

Giving you evidence is pointless, as you will dismiss any evidence given. Nothing we say will matter, because you will always say "But you can't prove that something else isn't a problem". For all we know, your next argument will be "If you vape, aliens from another solar system will smell it and come kill every human being". You have no evidence of that, either, and there is no way for us to prove it isn't true, so it wouldn't surprise me.

YOU CAN YELL ALL YOU WANT.

But you still have no evidence of risk.

You keep lying and talking about "Bovine Excrement" and using big fonts, and I can't see any reason to be nice to someone who is obviously just trying to be a jerk.

I am pretty sure they won't take an ADHD lion experiencing a mid-life crisis but so seriously, no matter what argument i make.

The questions of second hand safety are warranted. These are the questions that vapers will be faced with when regulation becomes common. I think that is right around the corner. If Minnesota bans use publically I'm out. I can't take the cold anyways.

Without legitament answers to safety questions, government will do what it does and control by force. Meaning ban the vape. It's already happening.

Gov will probably ban it anyways because of some sort of influence e-cigs have on young people and the "gateway to the real thing". Give me a break. Oh well. The people need their Nanny.
