Yeah... That's the Ticket.

But I would post them to a Web Site that has a Less Threating (all be it Confusing) Logo.

That may be a bit of a failure to translate cultural joke...

Banksy is a very famous graffiti artist here, who draws all kinds of silly, irreverent, satirical images like that.

But I guess the image is chosen to signify that Clive is anti-establishment, but harmless.

Hummm?

Something tells me this thread is About Done.

You see, the militant vapers seem to feel oppressed by mythical anti-smoking nazis, who take names and lurk around every corner. They need a badge to really play the game... The NUTZ badge...

They are not mythical we see their working all the time.
I was just being dramatic. I honestly dont think we can compare our persecution to the Jewish people of Nazzi Germany. But sometime with all of the swat teams and abuse of our military I wonder if we are heading in a similar direction but thats not really a ECF topic.

Anjaffm , you seriously need to quit calling posters here "resident ANTZ". You are trying to incite fights and flames here. It's childish.

That's a side effect of someone who's more interested in speaking than listening, which is very common in forums. The louder and more derogatory the post, the better they think their point is coming across. Part of me hates it, but I'll admit part of me does get a chuckle out an adult acting like a child, as you put it.

I am somewhat Familiar with Bansky's work.

Just saying that Anyone that is Masked and in the Act of throwing something Harkens Memories to the PLO's Rock Throwers in some Generational Minds.

If I was to point some of the People I work with to the site which DC Linked to, I'm not sure how well received that type of Mental Image would be?

Seems silly when there are so many Images that could be used that do not Incite Conflicting thoughts.

I think you need to open your eyes a bit. It's very easy to say that we are fighting windmills here in the U.S because the worst restrictions passed on vaping has been to extend existing tobacco bans to e-cigs in a few cities and most people feel that they can stealth vape their way past those.

However, in Europe it is a different story. The legislation that is being proposed over there is a widespread ban on almost all vaping materials and limiting the availability of cartomizers to prefilled units that contain no more that 20mg/ml.

Imagine someone telling you that you can't buy your favorite mod or tank, telling you you can't vape your favorite flavor juice and can't choose your nicotine strength.

the anti smoking coalition is alive and well. The fate of vaping in Europe is very relevant to what will happen here.

New E-Cig Limits Inserted Into EU Anti-Tobacco Plan - Law360

EU seeks 'ban on all currently available e-cigarettes' - Telegraph

So please don't blather about "mythical anti-smoking nazis" You just come across as ignorant

Anjaffm may ruffle some feathers and offend our politically correct sensitivities, but she is fighting for a right that those of us in the United States are taking for granted. She is on the front lines of this battle and we have no right to criticize her, unless we've walked a mile in her shoes. I pray to God we don't need to.

I just came back from a holiday in a European country. Vapers and vape shops everywhere. Vaping allowed everywhere. Vaping allowed at the airport. Vaping allowed in taxis. Vaping allowed after the smoking bans in restaurants and hotels. When was the last time you were in Europe? Before you call someone ignorant, you may want to actually go there to get a feel for what is really going on. EU legislation is a joke, which won't be taken seriously or enforced.

You have nooo idea how slowly those wheels turn - but turn they do.

UK's e-cigarette legislation is supposedly going to be enforced from 2016 (medical regulation, thanks for asking - since the EU left the door wide open for member states to consider e-cigs as drugs)

Oh, and snus is still banned across the whole of the EU except Sweden...

Really? You are going to postulate future conditions based on what current conditions are?

How do you know that the legislation is a "joke"? How do you know it won't be taken seriously or enforced? I'm sorry, I am more willing to believe someone who lives there than someone who just returned from "holiday"

I really don't care about the UK. You voted in those who have proposed and will enforce the legislation. Deal with the consequences.

Oddly, I had no issue buying Swedish snus openly where I went- wanted to try it out for kicks and I didn't go to Sweden... Certain countries will be the lap dogs of the EU and their own twisted politics; others favor freedom and won't kowtow to the EU.

Based on what other laws aren't enforced where I went.

:)
very nice picture indeed :) Yes, very nice. And very descriptive of the tactics of the ANTZ - and the FUD brigade right here in this forum.
Thank you very much for posting this.
This may actually be the first time that this poster and I have agreed on anything. Happy New Year :)

....

And thank you, p.opus.
Yes, in Europe, it is a different story.

In Europe, the European Commission (un-elected bureaucrats) are currently attempting to do their darling buddies in Big Industry a tiny little favor - in the guise of "protecting consumers" from oh-so-horrible imaginary "dangers" - like with the attempted olive oil jug ban in May 2013:

EU drops olive oil jug ban after public outcry - Telegraph

Of course, stevegmu has no idea. As was to be expected. A little explanation: the EU is currently attempting to ban the availability of e-cig equipment. Not the use. The availability. Reminiscient of Prohibition in the United States. Of course we all know how well that worked out. But would be annoying to have to purchase things on the Black Market, simply to live a healthier life.

In this connection, I just love this comment:

I’ve heard people talking about vaping having to go underground. Illegal vaping clubs starting up. It sounds so ridiculous for something that is such as safe activity. A bit like underground salad eating for vegetarians.

It also seems strange considering that the govt is worried about kids taking it up and in doing so giving it an air of danger and risk that it really shouldn’t have. Most kids aren’t interested in vaping because it’s safe and boring the same way you don’t see many people knitting behind the bike sheds.

to the transcript of Viscount Ridley's speech on e-cigs:
http://saveecigs.wordpress.com/2013...-in-the-house-of-lords-how-it-should-be-done/

......

And I love the attention, sweetpeas :) I feel flattered :) *takes a bow*
I wonder whether the links that I posted got the same attention.
Probably not. As reading comprehension takes effort :sneaky:

You can just buy it online. Not everyone delivers to us, but if you order from the people that do, nobody seems to bat an eyelid.

That may be true but you know what - I'd never even heard of snus until I found out about e-cigarettes - you want to hazard a guess as to why that was?

Um... because you don't hang around with enough Swedish people?

:)

I imagine if they do try to ban e-cigs here (can't see it happening - horse has bolted) the streets will be swimming in snus.

Good for the Swedes no doubt. Maybe they're running the ANTZ behind the scenes? Knock off the competition...

Nice attitude btw - guess I shouldn't give a crap about vapers outside the UK and live in my own little xenophobic world just like you eh?
