I know this will be taken as an "anti" post since, to the religious, asking practical questions is blasphemous. But PG metabolizes into lactic acid so how much do we understand as far as conversion rate or risk of d-lactic acidosis? I'd prefer links funded only by pro-vape lobbies please. I'm only willing to tolerate information from the head of the human-centipede.

Am I part of the Centipede? I think they are gross and would prefer to be left out of it....

@zoidman:

I am afraid that you have just failed reading comprehension.
Take a look at the 3rd source - hint hint :)

Well technically they sell nicotine products but yeah - you've got to love the hypocrisy of the World Health Organization and many of the cancer charities when it comes to their condemnation of e-cigs

Can't swear to it Jay-dub (and I wish I could remember where I saw it) but I read something about that and I believe excess lactic acid is passed out of the body through uh - the usual means we pass stuff out we don't need...

I'm sure that the Makers and Sellers of Nicorette will give you a Very Unbiased evaluation as to the Potential Risk to the Key Ingredient of the Product they Sell.

Just like the Fine Folks who Make and Sell Chantix would about Varenicline.

It's from big pharma. Shall I post links to you exhibiting your own distrust of big pharma?

Perhaps Loss of Reading Comprehension is an Unknown Side Effect of e-Cigarette Use?

And Not Limited to the USA and the UK. But Also to Germany.

;)

Interesting:

No comment regarding the studies that clearly show exposure of more than 3 hours.
No comment regarding the request for studies that indicate that second hand vape should be treated safe until proven otherwise.
No comment regarding how nearly every invention we enjoy to day was subjected to the same type of risk analysis.
No comment regarding how one can expect to perform long term studies on the effects on Second Hand Vape yet call for it's restrictions until appropriate studies have been performed.

Maybe it's because there are those who would rather simply create doubt than provide solutions.

Now let me see, Mr. P.E. :

zoidman wants studies that are "not funded by those selling tobacco"
you want links that are not given out by pharma

Hey, I have an idea: why don't you make a grant to fund a study that is not funded by either? :)
You see, studies do have to be funded by somebody. They do not happen out of thin air.

Oh... of course, if you fund it, then it will not be considered trustworthy either.
Because it is pretty clear what you wish to "find" *sweet smile*

I can't speak for the others, only myself, but I have never, never, repeat, never called for restrictions until studies were done.

...

BTW - Do you have any that are Not Funded by or who Sell Tobacco Products?

Once again, a failure of "Reading Comprehension" Skills.

I didn't say I "wanted". I asked if you "have". It was a Question. The Tip Off was the Question Mark at the End of the Sentence.

A simple Yes or No would have been fine.

Well maybe after 60 pages of posts we agree more than we know :)

Do you think that vaping should be allowed in public enclosed places like resturants, bars, etc. If it is allowable by the owner?
Do you think that vaping should be allowed where smoking is not, if there are NO specific restrictions regarding vaping per se?

Are you 100% sure? JUST HORSING AROUND with the 100% certainty thingy. :D It's a joke. :D

Bwaaahaaahaaaa
Thanks for the laugh :)

.............
And yes, zoidman's little games on semantics can be amusing.
Unless, of course, that is all that he / she is doing. Which is usually the case.

I know how that Elephant Feels.

See Posts #515, 520, 528 and 535

BTW - I don't use the "A" Word unless I have to because this site is Heavy Crawled by Bots looking for just such a Meta-Search Tag.

But the "A" Word is at the Heart of this ENTIRE Issue.
