I've noticed that it takes forever for them to dry out even when I stuck them in the grate of a fan.. so it dilutes the flavor a ton
ya I pulled mine apart that was leaking and it is the coil wire up through a tube of wicking material surrounded by poly fill of some sort. So what happens is the liquid goes through the small holes at the bottom of the metal tube, is soaked up by the fill and the wicking stuff pulls it to the coil area. The coil heats it up and viola you have vapor coming up through the metal tube and through the mouth piece. I think anyway..lol.. but my first one had the issue where the top wouldn't screw down enough to provide the tension required to prevent leaking.. this one works but the flavor is real muted.
Argh. A clearo you can't clean? #secondthoughts
No, it's not a clearo, it's actually a micro tank complete with a cartomizer portion but, you're right, it can't be effectively cleaned.
the nanos don't work for me either!
I must be living in another reality - I'm well known for applying zero tolerance yet, once I learned how to fill the Nano, mine have been flawless
I'm not going to pile on here already more than I have.............I can say that I just returned mine and SI did more than what I asked to fix the issue.
However, I would like to start up a line of suggestions for what would improve the Nano because I would like to use them primarily if/when fixed. I think that better QC is a given
I would like to see:
* Possibly a threaded bottom to the center post/air hole so that removal and cleaning are possible
* A smaller hole in the tip and/or smaller tip
* holes lower than they are on the center post
* larger holes on the center post????
I hadn't been following this thread for a few days, because I tried a Nano, it didn't " work for me", and I moved on. I am kinda surprised to see it has filler inside. If implemented right, this could work very well, though it would very difficult to clean. GV is selling a larger one they call the Alpha Star that looks to made similar to this. Its a top coil and has more holes in the center tube. Maybe something like that could work for the Nano.
