I would but it's not worth it since I really only wanted the 350. My experience with them was really good, fast shipping. I think as soon as the new 19 switches are back in stock I'm gonna order both the stainless and the brass 19's and the magnet free stainless switch for the stainless 19. I saw a pic in another thread where someone had both and alternated all the brass and stainless parts. They looked fantastic, even telescoped out to 650. Figured that would give me 4 mods, enough for now :)

Question on "Tacky Factor

I have worked on a Photoshop image of the Caravella Logo shown below. I was thinking of having it laser etched on my 8W but then I have conflicting thoughts about this. Tacky? or Replica? When someone builds a replica car like the Ford Cobra, nothing is ever mentioned about it being tacky, just a tribute to a fine automobile. When China attempts to replicate a mod, it is immediately labeled a "clone" like this is something to be shunned. I think of my 8W as a replica more than a clone and as a tribute to the Caravella. I would not even think about claiming it was genuine or attempt to order more and sell them as such. I have a lot of other ideas of what to etch on the 8W also. I found that most "trophy" shops that do etching can and will do this for about $10.00.

I would keep the boat and change caravela to "wabbit" THAT would be bad ....

Just an update with the Sigelei 19 brass nzonic cap on the 8W. Def needs to be shaved down the 510. I decided to sell my 8W to make way for some new mods.

This looks really nice. I might have to buy the nzonic cap Forgive me for being thick but what do you mean by
"Def needs to be shaved down the 510."?

Also, if you want a really clean version, let me know and I'll do it in illustrator. Super smoooth lines :)

I appreciate the offer K-Woodz, but I have decided to put a logo from my Masonic Lodge on the 18350 Tube to see what it will look like. If it comes out OK, I will then decide what to engrave on the 18650. They don't actually "engrave" the laser logos. The store showed me what the process looked likes on some items that they had laser etched and it was pretty nice. It is more like burning into the finish, should not polish off unless you use sandpaper or something really harsh. No colors available, but you actually could use a black and white photo because the process uses different shades of black and grey.

Sorry I had a grammar brain fart there. The Nzonic cap has a raise in the center where the atty screws on, leaving a 1mm gap when you mount your atty. so you need to shave it down to get a flush look. I'll try to take a photo later.

How on earth did you get the 19 Nzonic cap to fit? I got one as well, but there's no chance of fitting the battery inside with the cap on since the connector is different from the connector on the 8W cap

Good question, I never installed the battery.

Dang, now that I think about it....It won't fit at all......without some shaving.

Vaportek has the 8w brass Nzonic cap for 10 bucks. It has the same battery connection as the garbage that came with it. Mine should be here Saturday. I sliced up my fingers trying to take it off this morning by the ego threads, those little buggers are sharp, lol.

Looking at the pick it doesn't look as deep as the stock top but it's hard to see, but if it is the same top, I have an extra no glue bottom also so I'll just polish up a pair.

Well that's a BUMMER, glad I didn't order one, since I now have two tubes, two bottoms and only one top. Been really trying not to push that old add to cart button too much this month, but broke down for some flavorings and PG with nic.

Buying rampage, that's what I'm doing right now. I just sold my eVic, and now I'm eyeballing a Nemesis Eric Edition..........tempted not to message him to be put on the list......

It was hard to tell how 'tall' it was, so I didn't order it. Let us know!

That's a great idea. I'm an elks member myself...

Laser etching is where it's at these days. A much better result IMO than a regular engraving.

That glued switch was a monster. I boiled the switch, then torched it, and still couldnt get it off...

Until yesterday morning! I was getting ready for work and said what the heck - lets try again. It actually worked!

After cleaning it all off and cutting a coil its way better now, but its a little marked up on outside and inside. :(

Paid 24 bucks so, with such minimal voltage drop, im very happy.

So did you just go back to it after sitting and ended up getting it off or did you reboil and torch it? Use a vise and pliers?

Well guys and gals, the engraver called and I went and picked up my 18350 tube. Just about what I expected for $10.00. Not bad at all and I am satisfied. I don't know whether I will have the 18650 tube done or not.
