The problem the States went crazy and spent all the tobacco money for all kinds of idiot projects instead of responsibly using the money for its intended purpose.
Also after Aug. 8, no free samples ( even in vape shops) . There can be no more contests and giveaways for liquids or vaping devices, etc. 0mg must still be marked as a "tobacco" product. Batteries, cotton, small bottles, and pre-made coils can also be considered a tobacco product. So, your local b&m cannot build coils for you. Nor are they allowed to demonstrate a product or put it together for you. They also have to lie, and say that vaping is NOT safer than smoking. Nor can they tell you that vaping could help you quit....and it goes on, and on
Now, on to my comment:
I got my start by walking into a vape shop. Their help was invaluable. Plus juice bars to find the right flavors. All those laws are engineered to encourage failure and therefore Keep America Smoking. It's as simple as that and no simpler.Sorry, but could not give a like to your post due to the depressive nature.
Looks like they have the elimination of vape shops worked out. All that and then the states include vape shops in their smoking bans, add no vaping inside to the list. I know many here never go to or even detest B&M's, but once they are gone, how hard will it be to make online difficult?
But I do wonder about this work-a-round for putting together or demonstrating how to use a set-up. Sales clerk says hold on a minute while I get my vape going, then fills and assembles an identical set-up. Wonder if it would be illegal to do primer puffs in a vape shop?
I agree. While I do most of my shopping online, I have been one of the lucky ones, and found a wonderful local shop as well. I didn't just find a business, but a group of good friends and people to hang out with. Any purchase I make from them is well worth the cost of paying a little extra. No amount of money can replace their knowledge and friendship. Which is why it breaks my heart, that all that could be gone.
