I really like what you were saying at around ~7 mins. For me it has always been clear that there is a VERY limited market for rebuildables. The fact is that rebuildables are only in existence because they meet a demand that the "pre-built" atomizers were unable to fulfill. But that will change. This industry is really about getting products out there that can get a first-time user to quit smoking. Products that actually work, and that anyone can use. Might surprise a lot of people that Phillip Morris is a big manufacturer of those gas station disposable eCigs. Why? Because they won't work and you'll go right back to analogs. This year is an exciting one for vaping. This is the future.

I don't really get the comment...saturated? The RBA market is saturated. Fully. Off-the-shelf products that compete with RBA's are a brand new thing that was the stuff of dreams a few years ago. Until this year I have not seen any such products that I believe will really substitute analog cigs to a true smoker. So, it's good stuff.

I don't undersand if it is really a good stuff or is only the marketing forcing on a saturated ecig market.

Just got 1100mAh version today and using it with sub ohm coil. Yes, it is that good. Surprisingly good. Plenty of flavour and vapour.

I am also using Nuatilus/Kanger Subtank/Delta II on istick 30 and 50 W and this little tiny fella just rocks.

No.
Rebuildable>disposable.
Have you noticed the more experience/knowledgable a vaper gets, the more they gravitate away from buying rebuilt coils over, and over, and over....$$$$....?
$3 in kathal and $1 in cotton balls will keep an RDA/RTA vaping for years.

Once you understand the basic electronics of how it all works, you can fine tune your vape with your build, exactly the way you like it.

Rebuildables will always be popular, because they allow the user to customize, and they are far more dependable.

Yes, but I think what thefleck is saying is that for those of us who do not rebuild, there are actually over-the-counter coils now that give a very good vape, and closer to what you would get from a rebuildable, which has only happened recently.

You guys do realize that many people have very demanding employment where it's not a matter of taking a break to fiddle with things or build a coil, etc. ---- there will always be a demand for off the shelf stuff beause the truth is, unless you are on a vaping forum MOST people who use ecigs to quit smoking are NOT HOBBYISTS.

Their vape gear is only in the "background" of their life, and they don't spend hours a day playing with it, nor talking about it. :)

Do you have time for that?
I spend at least $10 on coffee daily in a local shop. Why? I just don't have time to grow , harvest and brew coffee myself.

Sure I have time for that.

I also grind and brew my own Costa Rican coffee.
And I assure you it's better than anything you'll find in a trendy shop.

No one is gonna do a better job for me than me.

yeah, I got time for that ... I have 7 of the same super reliable devices, all topped with Kayfuns ... only takes me 5 minutes to refill one with a new wick.

I make my own ADVs and literally vape for pennies ... biggest vape expense now is $8 AW batteries

then again, I only drink the free coffee at work :vapor:

What's special is the size, price point, and availability. Around $50 for an all inclusive kit that offers a great vape in a tiny package, and it's widely available. I don't think anyone is confusing it with a mechanical, and the One isn't even in the same ballpark as a Bolt. Aerovapes stuff is high end limited quantity specialty gear, not a reasonable comparison. As for the eVic, there was plenty of criticism about it even before release, I don't think it ever got the wide praise the eGo one has.

I thoroughly enjoy rebuilding and fiddling with gear, but I still think the eGo one is an amazing piece of kit. A more fair comparison would be the Atlantis/sub mod combo, and the eGo one comes out way ahead in price, size, and IMHO performance. For a few more dollars than the subohm battery alone you can get an entire One kit that's remarkably smaller and offers the same capacity (both juice and battery) and power.

I have a good sized collection of mechs, regulated devices, and rebuildables but the eGo one was definitely a welcomed addition to my lineup and gets used regularly. I haven't touched a clearo style device since the Vivi Novas were all the rage (hated them) so I can understand being very skeptical about the eGo one, but it's hype is backed up by solid performance and a great form-factor. It may not be a good device for every single last individual vaper out there but it's probably the closest thing that is.

You don't have to "fiddle" with an RDA. Once I build a coil it lasts for over a month....maybe more. I get bored an rebuild them for fun.
I have a very demanding job. I couldn't deal with having to carry extra coil heads, so I build my own which are much better.

I agree the ego one is a good thing which is why I read this thread.
I commented on the notion that RDAs would become less popular now that you can buy a .5 ohm coil head for an ego one.
