I'm wondering if the new coil units will interchange with EVOD and Protank bases......

Anyone know?

It would be cool to only have to buy one type of coil unit.

That sure would be ideal and makes sense. As dealers start getting these, we should have a lot of posts from users soon to see whether these combinations really work. One batch of standardized Kanger heads with a few different clearo shapes sure would simplify things.

Just got mine from Edward.
I've run into a bit of a snag. The new heads and base won't register on my eVic.
I'm guessing it's not making contact with the center post.
Everything else I've got (SVD, various Spinners and Twists) works fine with the new head/base.

I've tightened everything down VERY snugly but I won't force anything beyond finger-tight.

My guess, this is just an issue with the center pin on the eVic. I've never tried to raise that
center pin. That seems potentially disastrous.....

Vaping some Our Y Chai from Good Life Vapor on the new T3S base/coil. I'm using it on a plain ol' clear T3 body
attached to my SVD. It is GREAT. At least as good as the Evod and ProTank. Very similar draw, nice saturated
vape. I got no complaints!

One slightly odd thing though. I ordered 1.8Ohm heads and the SVD reads it as 2.8 or 3.0Ohms.
And it very clearly says 1.8Ohm on the head itself. I'm not complaining though. It's working fine.
No dry hits or anything. I've got my SVD set to 9W.

I got mine a little bit ago, and it’s working great. No gurgling or dry hits so far. After using Evod tanks for the last three months, I almost forgot how big the T3 looks, but it’s really nice to be able to see my juice again. I’m looking forward to the clear mouthpiece tanks. I think a clear tank and mouthpiece on a chrome mod will look pretty good.

Only time will tell if it’s as low maintenance as the Evods have been for me, but so far I like it.

I am having the same issue. I can't get a connection with my evic, MVP, or zmax.

Somebody in the eVic section helped me solve this problem.

Pull the center pin on the coil head down just a TINY bit. I did it with the head screwed into the base so I could roughly gauge just how
far down it was. If you pull too hard you'll just yank that pin out, which isn't a big deal. It'll pop right back in.

But that solved the problem for me on the eVic. Been using it a few days now this way, no more problems and it's vaping great.
I hope that helps! :vapor:

You're very welcome! It was another board member in another thread that schooled me on
this method so I can't take credit for it.

I can say, however, that even if you're kinda clumsy (because I am a TOTAL klutz) the heads will
probably survive. Like I said, even if you completely yank out that bottom post/plug, it goes right back
in easily and nothing is harmed.

I'm eager to try the "real" T3S, with the redesigned mouthpiece. I'm thinking it will be even better than
a retro-fitted T3....
Thanks for that Zipflint. That worked.

Just hope I don't destroy any heads with my brain surgeon like precision.

The MT3s and the T3s use the same replaceable Bottom coil.
