This one came out a little better than the last one. I got the coil to lay down flat - the last one I posted twisted when I coiled it.
That looks money bro. Good work. Pretty much every coil I make twists up in the drill (like uniform twists, all 2 or 3 wires rotating together, I don't mean twisting up on themselves), and I make the wire flat when wrapping the coil. But you nailed the stitch on that one. Try an interlocking now

Looks like 1 smooth piece of metal without the macro, pretty neat actually.
Been playing with 44 and 46g a little lately, they are pretty frustrating. They like to break at the worst times. Not to mention that if you stop fusing at any point, it's basically impossible to start again without leaving a tiny gap. Drives me nuts.

Organized all my wire, now I can actually find the gauges I need, and I don't start a new spool with 3 others already 1/2 gone.

Tried this interlocking coil. 28n80

2 twisted 28n80 clockwise. Then both on chuck counter clockwise. I stopped when it started to kink up. 4 strands total.
Word, try making an interlocking coil, use either 30 or 32g, it's 3 clockwise twisted strands twisted together counter clockwise super tight. They're nice twisted coils. Shape out into triangles.

im slowly starting to get back that itch for a build, i have a couple of new attys here soon, bout time i treated the taste buds, im still vaping normal wire, been a couple or three weeks now i think..
I know this question may not be best here but figured you guys would most likely have an answer for me. I'm new to doing advanced builds and so far I've done all sorts of regular claptons and fused claptons with titanium for my DNA200's and kanthal for my few other higher wattage boxes, I just started getting into staggered fused claptons and I almost nailed it first try but only got about 3 inches til it messed up. On to the question I made a dual 26g core with .5mm ribbon wire claptoned around it slightly overlapping each other and I'm not sure what it is called. The only thing I could think of would be a fused tiger coil but I know the tiger coil is different. Anyway thanks for the help and thanks for posting all of these amazing pictures it helps push me to doing more. Thanks for any info and I'll apologize now if I sound like a idiot lol.

Its still a fused Clapton, just with ribbon. And you don't sound like an idiot, there are other people that definitely do though...Side note, how does the DNA like to read the Ti fused Claptons? I should have a DNA200 mod within the year (hopefully), so some advice on TC builds for that chip would be greatly appreciated
Edit: I really should change a build or two, I have so much wireporn, but all my decks are full...
Super you have so much wire you could stock a store by me. They only carry up to 30g, and only stock KA1 & Ni200. I left when they told me that.
