So gross. @SLIPPY_EEL what new atties do you have coming in?

Its still a fused Clapton, just with ribbon. And you don't sound like an idiot, there are other people that definitely do though...Side note, how does the dna like to read the Ti fused Claptons? I should have a DNA200 mod within the year (hopefully), so some advice on TC builds for that chip would be greatly appreciated

Edit: I really should change a build or two, I have so much wireporn, but all my decks are full... View attachment 507314 28g/40g fused helixed with 2 sets of 10 loose strands of 40g between 1 ply .4x.1mm ribbon. All N80. Mind the paper towel bits left over from after cleaning the wire...so annoying to have them there. I can't physically see them but they're there...

Super you have so much wire you could stock a store by me. They only carry up to 30g, and only stock KA1 & Ni200. I left when they told me that.
Thanks for the answer. And with the DNA200 the titanium claptons have done great. I was very concerned that there would be hot spots and I wouldn't be able to fix them without pulsing the titanium. I space the Clapton slightly and pulse it at around 10 watts in a dark room and I saw it just start to turn light orange and I stopped. I only pulse the titanium as little as I can just to be safe. I wicked it and was dumbfounded at how amazing the vape was. With the ti profile I never get any dry hits or anything. I have the DNA200 set to 100 watt preheat, 7.5 punch and at around 65 to 80 watts. Very very suprised how well they work.

HaHaHaa i dont know what you mean about normal bog standard wires being Gross, i dunno, maybe ive weened myself offa the fancy builds, ive even dialed back on the power, maybe cus ive been vaping the Aromamizer at 60w while at the ps4 office, i was at one time vaping dual alien coils 2.5id at 0.07ohms on mechs, now im vaping 3-3.5id at 0.2-0.25ohms with 22g or 24g ss317L, only dif is i been using vw :)

Nice coils and wires everyone. :)

Tom i have the Fishbone plus on the way that i already told you about which has the velocity posts style with ceramic deck area which should be good for flav and keeping cooler, plus the airflow comes in from the top, pretty much in the DT so zero leakage. And i have a Bullet mini which should be here fri-sat, really looking forward to trying both out, apart from the aromamizer ive only been vaping on the phen-L. :)

Really like that wire you made Tom :)

What gauges are you using? I like to run a lot of fused Claptons, and instead of pulsing out the hotspots, what about a light torch to the wire beforehand? Do you think that would help it? I'm clueless on Ti right now.
But my coil porn still on point:

New take on a coil you won't see very often if at all
Edit: Thanks Slip, I've seen people take multistrand high gauge wire and not Clapton it before. So I figured why not just helix it?

i sort of copied you Tom, i did 44g fused around 2x 29g then twisted a length of ribbon and then helixed 10strands of 38g into it and then got fed up with the 44g so grabbed another length of ribbon to sort of helix, i say sort of cus i know itt didnt really follow the join of the twisted wires But i made a dual 1/8th 6wrap and it was pretty good, here is the wire, i put it on the leg of my tracksuit bottoms which you can see the detail of so gives you an idea how small the wire is..

let me sneak some pictures of my bullet mini in here, not to be confused with a toy that women know about :pervy:

this crazy gross build is 24g ss317L 3.5id, its a really nice atty But you guys would defo struggle with a crazy build in it, stuff like claptons and fused would be cool though :)

It's got slots for the posts like a derringer...as long as anyone built high gauge fused or high gauge aliens they would fit. I've shoved 26g fused parallel to 24g duals in a derringer before, no problems, only annoyance was the centerpost. Is there any way of blocking off the bottom airflow to stop leaks on that mini bullet?

And yeah 44g is super small, it looks like you went opposite what I did, with 2 strands of ribbon with the 10x 38g in between. Is that a stagger fused you twisted everything around?
Wut Iz Dat??? I Like It!!!
It's a secret!
Side note, some stuff happened and I damaged some type of ligament in my right wrist last night so I may not be posting many new coils for a while. It's pretty painful to even grip a pair of pliers let alone wrap up a coil or do any fine motor mechanics.

Just a little heads-up on the Bullet mini incase anyone is deciding to buy one for to put fused claptons in, i made some fused wire with 26g and 34g and it wouldnt fit, yeah you would get a single coil to fit and you will get four single strands of 26g to fit in each post as i have a dual parallel with 26g in at the mo.
On an upside you can fit 3mm or 3.5mm id coils easily.

Tom the bullet mini doesnt have an option to close the bottom airflow, not unless you want the upper airflow holes off center from the coils, but the bottom airflow comes into the deck on an angle and is'nt stupidly wide across the deck like some that get you to rest the cotton on its ledge to seep juice if you kno wha i mean, i havent had it leak on me But ive always counted drops anyway, even with non bottom fed atty's.
The only gripe i have is the spitback tip collects a lot of juice or condensation, i always know when it needs a wipe around as it seems to mute flav :D

its a good atty for the price But the phen-L is just as good on flav imo, im thinking of maybe trying a phen-L mini, has anyone got or tryed one?

Sooooo my Kennedy 24 just ruined my week. Bad things come in 3's ey? First, I had to wipe my hard drive and install a fresh OS 2 weeks after the El Capitan update, lost thousands of dollars in programs and music and work. Second, stuff happened and it led to my right wrist tendon/ligament sprain. Now my Kennedy 24's insulator decided it wanted to start shorting out where the center post touches the deck, on a .17 ohm build. WHY'D IT HAVE TO BE THE KENNEDY!??!!?! My daily carry & most expensive atty. C'est le vie.

Have you been doing to many press-ups? what do you think led to it?

i use to do plastering and i ended up getting tennis elbow, couldnt even lift my cans of lager onto the counter in the supermarket it was that bad... i got sent for an injection, i cant spell the word of the stuff they injected but i can say it lol its a kind of steroid but isnt as far as im aware But it never came back since then :)

now that ive stopped running up and down ladders plastering or jumping off high platforms ive picked up knee problems, hurts so bad when my knee is bent i have trouble driving to far with it, gotta keep it straight mostly and coming down the stairs in the morning hurts bad hahaha

    Give us the specs buddy
    Multi twisted:

    3 pieces 40N twisted clockwise
3 more pieces 40N twisted clockwise
3 more pieces 40N twisted clockwise
Took those 3 twists, and twisted them together counter-clockwise
Made a fused Clapton with 30K and staged with 22N
