I have been a long time reader here but have never posted. I have been vaping since last March and have no trouble at all moving from analogs to vaping. My wife and I started off on a standard Ego-T system and I have evolved a few things since.

After getting without an atomizer for a couple of days ( No local vape shop) I moved onto the Ego C in order to have spare replacement atomizer heads at a cheaper cost that a whole Ego T atomizer. I switched my wife over to the LR's since she wanted more from her vape. After extensive reading here at ECF I made another move to a tank system with a 2 ohm duo cart. I also switched us over to the Ego C Twist batteries to get more out of the cart. I avoided the LR so I wouldn't burn thru them as fast. I like what we are using now but have some inconsistency with the cart from time to time with flooding, or harsh hitting. I also dislike the inconsistent quality of the yes genuine Joyetech batteries.

I want to know what VV or VW system you here would recommend? And if possible why?( I often read posts of peoples favorite but am still unsure why) Price is a concern but not from initial cost but more from a replacement or maintenance concern. I have bought plenty of twist batteries in the last six months for various failures including two dropped batteries.

Thank you in advance!

I currently have a couple eGo setups ( which I still use ) a VAMO and a Zmax... I love boyhood the VAMO and Zmax but generally reach for the VAMO due to the ease of use of the menu and many battery configurations. You will probably get many different responses as tastes in mods are as different in tastes in juice... Just do your homework and you'll end up with a mod you really enjoy.

Thanks...my only problem is I overdue my homework until I get frustrated lol. I am not one to just shoot from the hip when making any purchase and pour over the options until my eyes hurt haha. But the VAMO is one I have looked at a few times and is on my list of 5 or so...thanks again

What price range are you looking to spend? What's your absolute limit? Keep in mind you will also need to buy 2-3 replaceable, rechargeable batteries and a charger for them.

Do you already have favorite juice delivery devices that you want to continue to use on the mod? What are they, and what threading do they use? (510?)

Since you are concerned with on going costs I would have to second the ProVari. It is higher cost up front but it comes with a one year warranty(optional two year for $25). It is serviceable even after the warranty expires, so if a problem does come up it can be repaired. Standard Service Repair Costs

Replace Window and screws- $10.00
Replace Tube - $40.00
Replace Circuit Board - $65.00
Upgrade to V2 - $20.00
Replace plastic pushbutton - $5.00
Repairs to the circuit board - $25.00
Cleaning - $10.00
Replace top cap - $15.00
Broken Cartomizer Service - $10.00

Return shipping within the USA - $5.00

The Vamo and Zmax typically have 30-90day warranty's depending on the vendor, and if they require service after that, it gets handled by your garbage man.

Well to avoid putting in multiple quotes.. Thanks everyone for your help!

@ Badititude : I am using a dual coil 2.0 Ohm atomizer with a tank 510 thread and will be sticking with this for a while since I have over 100 of them and they work well for us

@ kiwivap : Thanks for the link I will look at it cloder when I get home from work!

@ Buzzsaw : I had seen a couple of your posts on the Provari in other threads, but thanks for including the breakdown! I know they cost more but am not afraid to spend the money! I am just the type of person that hates spending a residual amount on replacement items if I dont need to be!

Thanks all of you again for the posts this place is really a great community filled with amazing insightful people!

The nice thing about the ProVari over another cheaper vv is that, from what I've read and discussed with owners, you'll continue to be satisfied with it for a long long time. I bought an L-Rider Epic Storm as my first vv thinking that it would do everything I wanted and to get the tube, batteries, and charger was still half the price of the ProVari tube alone. While it did do everything I wanted at the time, as I have dived deeper into the rabbit hole of vaping I am left wanting more features such as the ability to check the ohms on my carto. I also recently had an issue where I dropped it for the hundredth(?) time and it stopped working leading me to bum an analog from a buddy. I took the whole thing apart and found nothing wrong, when I put it back together it started working again...weird. With the ProVari that should not be an issue.

I have the same problem. I used to be able to purchase things on a whim. Now I can't. I blame my husband ;) He taught me to do my homework. Sometimes I wonder if I research too much now. Is that possible? LOL

Thanks to the people here, I was able to finally decide on a purchase that I feel will be a solid investment.

*impatiently waiting for my Provari to arrive*

@ Kiwi I guess I will have to wait unitl I have more posts to read that thread...I am a Newb and cannot access but thanks anyways!

I tried to access both the link in this thread and under her avatar, and it wouldn't let me in either. You may want to check your access settings, Kiwi.
