sigelei 100watt, right now it's a .41 twisted 28ga on a 1/16 bit. Used anywhere from 30watts to 45 watts On a mutation x v2.
also have a sig 50watt with a single 28ga twisted 3/36 bit .8 ohm on a clt v2.
I've used numerous dual coil builds anywhere from .3 to .9 ohms, built a .4 parallel and a .8 parallel yesterday but didn't like that style but it still spit. The duals spit and the singles spit and the parallel spit, the twisted seems to spit less. Currently have a different juice that is higher vg, from a different company (doesn't disclose percentages) Spits only on warmup where all my NT juices spit throughout each pull

Glad you found something you are happy with!

I have a copper Mutation X sitting on top of a copper Oro with dual 2 mm 28g's built to 0.50 ohms with KGD wicks and it sizzles a bit but it doesn't spit. With a fresh battery at 4.2 volts, that puts me right at 35 watts. My suspicion is that you have your coils too low to the deck. Try raising them a bit and see if that helps. Are you using big diameter coils?

Kinda disappointed with NT right now. Love their juices but since they are all 50\50 mixes besides surebert right now I've tried about every coil setup I can do from singlr, dual, parallel and twisted, with twisted being my favorite to prevent spitting. I have not found any build to minimize it. Might have to step away until they get their line of max vg juices.

As Distorto mentioned, it sounds like a build issue you are having mah friend.

I plugged your .41 twisted into Steamengine.org and ran the numbers. You are boiling your juices mah friend...that's where the spitting is coming from not the pg/vg ratio. Here is a screen shot. Pay particular attention to the Results box on the right. At 45 watts 487 mw/mm2. That is smoking hot, even for me and I run my builds in the 300 range...

I am just beginning to play with my builds, and STILL waiting on a massive Kanthal order from Temco Mitro, so in mah downtime I have been researching everything build related I can. I think this may help you enjoy your NT juices.

Bottom line, your builds are too hot.

My nano should be here Monday. Can't wait to rip apart those coils and mess with them. he he

Well, look what the cat drug in!....Howdy there Spike! How are you doing my friend?. The stock coils can be rebuilt but you have to get the right diameter and with to fit down the shoot. Me thinks you will be a happy camper with the Nano.

Thanks DB!

I highly recommend that ANYONE who builds their own atty's, read the State O' Flux blogs on one tab and have Steamengine.org on another tab and experiment and practice while reading the blog.

It is put in really simple language and will only enhance your experience with SE.org. I've been using the heat flux function for a while but never thought as So'F suggests, to build from a heat flux that you enjoy...

I'm hoping that Dampmaskin will create a simple input method for complex (zippers, claptons etc...) coils without having to measure all the wire and do the math.

Jeffery, If you don't mind and if you are able, Post a close up picture of your build and we can take it from there. I only post this to help you get to the right place so you can enjoy that jooz...;)

A lower setting will work but when I want to really blow clouds, I'll go down as low as 0.3 ohms with big coils on a mech and still not have the problems you are experiencing.

As Most of you know, Distorto loves his toys. So a month or so ago, I bought a couple of iSticks to play with as I liked the idea of being able to simply fold them and toss them in a pocket. So, I picked up a couple of Kanger SubTank " Nanos" and brought them along with me for a quite weekend in Sonoma to set up and take for a test ride.

I loaded up with some CLS in one of them and Man!, all I can say is that I am really impressed even with the 1.2 ohm coils. These things really kick out the flavor and vapor! So far, no leaking, no gurgling and no trouble. I can only imagine what the 0.5 ohm coils will do. They have excellent air flow adjustment as well. I am an old Kanger fighter from way back and I have to say that for my thoughts as of now, Kanger has gotten their act together.

Anyone else using these things yet?

I want to be using these things! or at least try them out. I keep adding them to my pretend cart and then moving back to my wishlist. LOL

big Kanger fan as well- when I knew it was time to switch back, Kanger was the only clearo/tank I would even look at. if I'm this impressed with the Aerotank Mow Mega, I'm sure I'll dig the Subtank!
